Maritime and Ocean Engineering Research Institute (MOERI), a branch of KORDI, has designed and manufactured a model of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) named ISiMI(Integrated Submergible for Intelligent Mission Implementation). ISiMI is an AUV platform to satisfy the various needs of experimental test required for development of challenging technologies newly investigated in the field of underwater robot; control and navigational algorithms and software architectures. The main design goal of ISiMI AUV is downsizing which will reduce substantially the operating cost compared to other vehicles previously developed in KORDI such as VORAM or DUSAUV. As a result of design and manufacturing process, ISiMI is implemented to be 1.2m in length, 0.17m in diameter and weigh 20 kg in air. A series of tank test is conducted to verify the basic functions of ISiMI in the Ocean Engineering Basin of MOERI, which includes manual control with R/F link, auto depth, auto heading control and a final approach control for underwater docking. This paper describes the implementation of ISiMI system and the experimental results to verify the function of ISiMi as a test-bed AUV platform.
This study was carried out to investigate what kinds of statistical techniques have been used to analyze data from oriental medicine research, For study, 551 original articles which used statistical techniques in their data analysis were selected form the articles published in The journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibustion Society(JKAMS) between 1984 to 2002. among them, 122 articles used descriptive statistics while 429 articles used inferential statistics for data analysis. For that 429 articles, t-test (189 articles), analysis fo variance (111 articles), chi-square test (14 articles), correlation (10 articles), regression analysis (4 articles), factor analysis(5 articles), or nonparametric test (23 articles) were chose to analyze the data. Nonparametric approach has substantial power in case data do not meet the assumption of normality. This method is not only easy to use ut also provides measures of the statistical variation of nominal and ordinal scale. This study shows that more and more recent papers use nonparametric test compared to the old articles. nine different statistical software or packages (SAS, SPSS, Statview, Minitab, Sigma plot, ISP, Graphpad prism, Excel, Access) have been used in the articles published JKMAS. High level statistical techniques such as SAS, SPSS, and Statview are user friendly and used most for acupuncture and Moxibustion research. Including tables and plots in an article facilitates understanding family process data from a descriptive standpoint, minimized erroneous statistical conclusions, and clarifies theoretically important relationships among variables. Table and plots have been used 500 and 233 articles, respectively. A computer procedure is proposed and illustrated with statistical packages using SAS, SPSS, Statview and ISP.

Curved steel-concrete composite box girder has been widely adopted in urban overpasses and ramp bridges. In order to investigate its mechanical behavior under complicated and combined bending, shear and torsion load, two large-curvature composite box girders with interior angles of 25° and 45° were tested under static hogging moment. Based on the strain and deflection measurement on critical cross-sections during the static loading test, the failure mode, cracking behavior, load-displacement relationship, and strain distribution in the steel plate and rebar were investigated in detail. The test result showed the large-curvature composite box girders exhibited notable shear lag in the concrete slab and steel girder. Also, the constraint torsion and distortion effect caused the stress measured at the inner side of the composite beam to be notably higher than that of the outer side. The strain distribution in the steel web was approximately linear; therefore, the assumption that the plane section remains plane was approximately validated based on strain measurement at steel web. Furthermore, the full-process non-linear elaborate finite element (FE) models of the two specimens were developed based on commercial FE software MSC.MARC. The modeling scheme and constitutive model were illustrated in detail. Based on the comparison between the FE model and test results, the FE model effectively simulated the failure mode, the load-displacement curve, and the strain development of longitudinal rebar and steel girder with sufficient accuracy. The comparison between the FE model and the test result validated the accuracy of the developed FE model.

Most of prior works on testing parallel programs have concentrated on how to guarantee the reproducibility by employing event traces exercised during executions of a program. Consequently, little work has been done to generate test cases, especially, from specifications produced from software development process. In this research work, we devise the techniques for deriving test cases automatically from the specifications written in Message Sequence Charts(MSCs) which are widely used in telecommunication areas and develop the testing environment for performing module testing of parallel programs with derived test cases. For deriving test cases from MSCs, we have to uncover the causality relations among events embedded implicitly in MSCs. For this, we devise the methods for adapting vector time stamping to MSCs, Then, valid event sequences, satisfying the causality relations, are generated and these are used as test cases. The generated test cases, written in TTCN, are translated into CHILL source codes, which interact with a target module to be tested and test the validity of behaviors of the module. Since the testing method developed in this research work extracts test cases from the MSC specifications produced front telecommunications software development process, it is not necessary to describe auxiliary specifications for testing. In audition adapting vector time stamping generates automatically the event sequences, the generated event sequences that are ones for whole system can be used for individual testing purpose.

The realtime test data topic means that process for the data efficiently from many kinds of measurement device at the test range. There are many measurement devices in test range. The test range require accurate observation and determine on test object. In this realtime test data slaving framework system, the system can produce variety of test informations and all these data also must be transmitted to test information management or display system in realtime. Using RTI DDS(Data Distribution Service) middle ware Ver 5.2, we can product the efficiency of system usability and QoS(Quality of Service) requirements. So the application user enables to concentrate on applications, not middle ware. As the reason, Complex function is provided by the DDS, not the application such as Visualization Software. In this paper, I suggest the realtime test data topic on slaving framework of realtime test data based on DDS at the test range system.

EEG signals that are the same as those that have the same disabled people. So, the EEG signals are becoming the next generation. In this paper, we propose an internet of things system that controls the indoor environment using EEG signal. The proposed system consists EEG measurement device, EEG simulation software and indoor environment control device. We use data as EEG signal data on emotional imagination condition in a comfortable state and logical imagination condition in concentrated state. The noise of measured signal is removed by the ICA algorithm and beta waves are extracted from it. then, it goes through learning and test process using SVM. The subjects were trained to improve the EEG signal accuracy through the EEG simulation software and the average accuracy were 87.69%. The EEG signal from the EEG measurement device is transmitted to the EEG simulation software through the serial communication. then the control command is generated by classifying emotional imagination condition and logical imagination condition. The generated control command is transmitted to the indoor environment control device through the Zigbee communication. In case of the emotional imagination condition, the soft lighting and classical music are outputted. In the logical imagination condition, the learning white noise and bright lighting are outputted. The proposed system can be applied to software and device control based BCI.
IoT(Internet of Things) can enable networking and computing using any devices is rapidly proliferated. In the existing IoT environment, bottlenecks and service delays can occur because it processes data and provides services to users using central processing based on Cloud. For this reason, Edge Computing processes data directly in IoT nodes and networks to provide the services to the users has attracted attention. Also, numerous researchers have been attracted to intelligent service efficiently based on Edge Computing. In this paper, expert system-based context awareness scheme for Edge Computing in IoT environment is proposed. The proposed scheme can provide customized services to the users using context awareness and process data in real-time using the expert system based on efficient cooperations of resource limited IoT nodes. The context awareness services can be modified by the users according to the usage purpose. The three service modes in the security system based on smart home are used to test the proposed scheme and the stability of the proposed scheme is proven by a comparison of the resource consumptions of the servers between the proposed scheme and the PC-based expert system.

For data such as rainfall and soil moisture, it is important to obtain the values of all points required as geostatistical data. Spatial interpolation is generally performed in this process, and commercial software such as ArcGIS is often used. However, commercial software has fatal drawbacks due to its high expertise and cost. In this study, R, an open source-based environment with ArcGIS, a commercial software, was used to compare the differences according to the processing environment when performing spatial interpolation. The data for spatial interpolation was weather forecast data calculated through Land-Atmosphere Modeling Package (LAMP)-WRF model, and soil moisture data calculated for each cumulative rainfall scenario. There was no difference in the output value in the two environments, but there was a difference in user interface and calculation time. The results of spatial interpolation work in the test bed showed that the average time required for R was 5 hours and 1 minute, and for ArcGIS, the average time required was 4 hours and 40 minutes, respectively, showing a difference of 7.5%. The results of this study are meaningful in that researchers can derive the same results in a commercial software environment and an open source-based environment, and can choose according to the researcher's environment and level.
In the characteristics of CMMI architectures and components, there are many relations among CMMI practices. The organizations can be more efficiently improving their processes if they understand relationship among CMMI practices. However, there are no researches regarding this topic yet. In this paper we analyzed the relationship between Generic Practices and Specific Practices of each process areas in CMMI Maturity Level 2 by using Chi-square test of independence. As a result, we demonstrated that 10 Generic Practices in each process area are related 17 out of 48 Specific Practices (35% relationship). Using this result to improve the organization's processes, we achieved a significant improvement of 36.5% in CMMI appraisal result.
In OLED panel production process, it is necessary to cut a part of protective film as a preprocess for lighting inspection. The current method is to recognize only the fiducial mark of the cut-out panel. Bare Glass Cutting does not compensate for machining cumulative tolerances. Even though process defects still occur, it is necessary to develop technology to solve this problem because only the Align Mark of the panel that has already been cut is used as the reference point for alignment. There is a lot of defective lighting during panel lighting test because the correct protective film is not cut on the panel power and signal application pad position. In laser cutting process to remove the polarizing film / protective film / TSP film of OLED panel, laser processing is not performed immediately after the panel alignment based on the alignment mark only. Therefore, in this paper, we performed real time inspection which minimizes the mechanism tolerance by correcting the laser cutting path of the protective film in real time using Machine Vision. We have studied calibration algorithm of Vision Software coordinate system and real image coordinate system to minimize inspection resolution and position detection error and edge detection algorithm to accurately measure edge of panel.
