  • This study was carried out to develop a microcomputer-based data acquisition system and software for analysis of engine vibration. Due to this development of system and software, studies on the vibration of engine was able to conduct efficiently. From the display of color monitor, the outputs of test were compared and analysed on zero-base monitoring. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. Data acquisition system in microcomputer was designed and programmed and operated accurately. 2. The results of test were easily compared in monitoring of zero-base at color monitor. 3. The system and program developed was able to control the measuring intervals, number of channels, and number of data.

  • 본 연구에서는 지하광산 갱내통신 시스템을 기반으로 미소진동 모니터링 체계를 설치하고 운영함으로써 국내 지하광산 현장에서의 적용성을 검토하였다. 미소진동 모니터링 측정 자료는 대용량의 파형 자료와 안전 관리 목적의 메타 자료로 구분할 수 있으며, 각 자료의 목적과 용량에 따라 운영 과정에서의 전송, 저장, 분석, 관리 방법이 적절하게 적용되어야 한다. 미소진동 측정 자료 특성에 부합함과 동시에 지하광산의 갱도 환경을 고려한 최적 통신 시스템을 선정하기 위해서 광케이블을 이용한 유선 통신 시스템, 2.4 GHz 무선 통신 시스템, 900 MHz 무선 통신 시스템을 테스트사이트의 갱도 구간과 지상 구간에 설치하고 운영함으로써 다양한 통신 시스템의 적용성을 비교 검토하였다. 또한 갱내에서 측정된 미소진동 자료에 대한 전송, 저장, 분석, 관리의 안정성과 유지보수 편의성을 고려한 데이터베이스 기반 통합 모니터링 프로그램을 개발하여 현장에 적용하고 운영 시험을 수행하였다. 시험 과정에서 확인된 문제를 미소진동 통합 모니터링 프로그램에 반영하여 보완함으로써 미소진동 모니터링 체계 도입 과정에서 예상되는 다양한 국내 광산의 요구 조건에 대응할 수 있는 기술 제공 기반을 마련하였다.

  • The Deep-sea miner system is composed of body, actuators, sensors, and devices for control and monitoring. At present, we are manufacturing the miner's body included actuators and already consisted with off-the-shelf embedded controller. But sensors and those devices were just determined. To previously test performance of embedded controller which manages control and monitoring of miner system, its simulator must be developed for control and monitoring. Hardware-In-the-Loop(HIL) simulation is being increasingly used in industrial applications. This is an effective tool for the evaluation of electric system and drives. In the HIL simulator, we can test and design the control and monitoring system freely without the risk of hardware ruins and the load of expenses. Also the programming software for miner operating is verified on the HIL simulator. In this paper, we introduce the concept of HIL simulator for control and monitoring of deep-sea miner.

  • A wind turbine monitoring system is essential equipment fur the performance evaluation and mechanical load analysis of a wind turbine. A monitoring system using LabVIEW is developed in this study. This system monitors signals from a meteorological mast, wind turbine generator, and tower. The discrete signals which are sampled at t Hz are automatically saved on a data file in the unit of a day. Besides these basic functions, the developed monitoring system has the other several capabilities. One of them is the information access from a remote PC through the internet. A vision image of the test site area and data files that are produced by LabVIBW software can be uploaded to the main computer located in a remote site. An emergency backup system using UPS fur the power loss on the monitoring HW is also prepared, A detail explanation for the developed wind turbine monitoring system is presented in this study.

  • According to the COVID-19, development of various medical software based on IoT(Internet of Things) was accelerated. Especially, interest in a central software system that can remotely monitor and control ventilators is increasing to solve problems related to the continuous increase in severe COVID-19 patients. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, this study aims to develop central monitoring system that can remotely monitor and control multiple ventilators in compliance with medical device software development standards and to verify performance of system. In addition, to ensure the safety and reliability of this central monitoring system, this study also specifies risk management requirements that can identify hazardous situations and evaluate potential hazards and confirms the implementation of cybersecurity to protect against potential cyber threats, which can have serious consequences for patient safety. As a result, we obtained medical device software manufacturing certificates from MFDS(Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) through technical documents about performance verification, risk management and cybersecurity application.The purpose of this study is to conduct a usability assessment to ensure that ergonomic design has been applied so that the ventilator central monitoring system can improve user satisfaction, efficiency, and safety. The rapid spread of COVID-19, which began in 2019, caused significant damage global medical system. In this situation, the need for a system to monitor multiple patients with ventilators was highlighted as a solution for various problems. Since medical device software is closely related to human life, ensuring their safety and satisfaction is important before their actual deployment in the field. In this study, a total of 21 participants consisting of respiratory staffs conducted usability test according to the use scenarios in the simulated use environment. Nine use scenarios were conducted to derive an average task success rate and opinions on user interface were collected through five-point Likert scale satisfaction evaluation and questionnaire. Participants conducted a total of nine use scenario tasks with an average success rate of 93% and five-point Likert scale satisfaction survey showed a high satisfaction result of 4.7 points on average. Users evaluated that the device would be useful for effectively managing multiple patients with ventilators. However, improvements are required for interfaces associated with task that do not exceed the threshold for task success rate. In addition, even medical devices with sufficient safety and efficiency cannot guarantee absolute safety, so it is suggested to continuously evaluate user feedback even after introducing them to the actual site.

  • 소프트웨어의 생산성을 높이고 신뢰성 있는 실시간 이동형 내장 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위해서는, 소프트웨어를 실시간으로 정확하게 분석하고 시험 검증할 수 있는도구가 필요하다. 이러한 도구는 기본적으로 소스코드 기반의 화이트박스 시험 기능, 실시간 시스템 모니터링과 실행 제어 기능을 필요로 하며, 향후 다양한 시스템 환경과의 연동을 고려하여 재사용성과 이식성을 높일 수 있도록 설계되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 이동형 내장 소프트웨어를 시험하기 위한 시험검증 도구의 기능적 요구사항을 식별하고, 식별된 요구사항을 바탕으로 시험검증 도구에 적합한 구조를 설계하였다 또한 시험검증 도구의 확장성과 이식성 제고를 위해 각 기능에 대한 구체적인 구현 기술과 기법을 제시하였으며, 이들 기능의 설계에 디자인 패턴을 적용하였다.

Implementation and Experimental Test Result of a Multi-frequency and Multi-constellation GNSS Software Receiver Using Commercial API

  • In this paper, we implement a navigation software of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver based on a commercial purpose GNSS software receiver platform and verify its performance by performing experimental tests for various GNSS signals available in Korea region. The SX3, employed in this paper, is composed of an application program and a Radio Frequency (RF) frontend, and can capture and process multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS signals. All the signal processing procedure of SX3 is accessible by the receiver software designer. In particular for an easy research and development, the Application Programing Interface (API) of the SX3 has a flexible architecture to upgrade or change the existing software program, equipped with a real-time monitoring function to monitor all the API executions. Users can easily apply and experiment with the developed algorithms using a form of Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files. Thus, by utilizing this flexible architecture, the cost and effort to develop a GNSS receiver can be greatly reduced.

선재 가이드롤러 모니터링 시스템 개발 (The Development of Monitoring System for Guide Roller in Wire Rolling Process)

  • In order to cope with the occurrence of abnormal operation, rotatory condition monitoring system for guide roller of finishing train in wire rolling has been developed. In this study, proximity sensor and its holding devices that could overcome severe in-situ measurement conditions was designed and MMI software using C++ was programmed. Performance of the developed system turned out to be good enough as results of in-line test for POSCO #3 wire rolling mill. It is expected to contribute to prevent the cobble and the grade-down of products caused by the abnornormal operation of guide rollers.

원자력발전소 안전계통 소프트웨어의 동적시험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Test of Safety System Software on Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 최근 원자력발전소의 안전계통 소프트웨어는 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 ANSI/IEEE-ANS-7-4.3.2-1982 기준에 따라 확인 및 검증이 이루어지고 있다. 이 규정은 안전관련 소프트웨어가 정적 및 동적 환경에서 시험되어야 한다고 요구하고 있다. 부적절노심냉각감시계통의 경우에 정적시험 절차 및 관련기술들은 개발되었으나 동적시험 절차 및 관련기술들은 개발되지 않았다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 미개발된 기술들을 논의하고, 동적시험 절차와 시험 입력자료 생성 프로그램을 제안한다. 이 프로그램의 성능은 울진 3,4호기 최종 안전성 분석 보고서의 사고해석 결과를 사용하여 확인하였다.
