Rapid industrial development has led to a serious problem of pollution in the industrial sector. With the increasing social need for environmental protection, research on air pollution prevention equipment for reducing pollutants in industrial processes is actively being undertaken. The deterioration of existent, installed facilities, their increased emission rates, and the strengthening of the effluent quality standards make complying with permissible emission standards difficult. In fact, installing new electric precipitators or complementing existent facilities is inevitable. The expansion and complementation of the installed electrical precipitators have led to improvements in dust collection efficiency, shorter working times, and lower costs. Because of its easy installation and simple manufacturing process, the production method with the discharge electrode of an electric precipitator is widely used. The following conclusions were reached by classifying discharge electrodes into four types based on the production method and mutually comparing them by their dust collection efficiency. None of the four types used in this study were damaged by impact. However, we were able to confirm some strain from the compression sites of both type A and type B. Both type B and type C are expected to have greater dust collection efficiencies than the other models due to their large vibration transmissibility. Moreover, the high vibrational energy is expected to cause rapping damage during its operation. Particularly, in the case of type B, some of the strain was found at the end of the compression site. The coupling schemes of both type C and type D are out of vibration transmissibility. On the other hand, the ability to maintain straightness and solidity of the side is regarded as outstanding and stable. Type D has outstanding on-site workability, considering the presence of locking, structural stability, and work conditions. From these experiments, we determined that type C is the most ideal connection method of discharge electrode, considering its construction period of renovation. Type C is inferior to type D with regard to on-site workability. However, type C has outstanding dedusting transmission with regard to the straightness, solidity maintenance, and vibration of shearing stress.
Governance systems are basically an autonomous cooperation type among the government, civil society and market, also a new paradigm for efficient and democratic administration of policies. The governance mainly consists of the central operating body, institutions, operating principles and so on. The constituents are the nation(government), civil society(NGO) and market(firm). Institutional conditions are a legitimate base, financial stability and independency. And as a operating principle, governance systems have common goals and issues from a national and social point of view. This governance has been recently emerged due to financial risk of government, diffusion of new liberalism going with the globalization, localization-decentralization, and development of civil society and information-oriented society. We have to grope fur the framework of participatory agri- policy confronting globalization and localization as well as developing our agriculture and rural village. This agri-policy governance should be theoretically focused on policy network or self-organizing network or multi-lateral governance (MLG) based on NPM. Also, it is proper to have connection of nation-central type and civil society-central type. And it is necessary to have a MLG type with local governance corresponding to localization and decentralization. Governance should have the type whose participants have authority and responsibility as well. Basic directions of environmentally friendly agri-policy governance are as follows : first, its purposes are constructing the democratic and efficient framework of participatory environmentally friendly agri-policy based on consensus of all the related groups, embodying environmentally friendly agri-policy adjusted to local field, raising farmer's real interest, and improving their position. Second, its form should have a council or an agreement system, not an advisory or a consultation organ. Thus, public sector(eg. government) and voluntary sector(eg. farmers' organization) jointly execute agricultural policy and are responsible together. Environmentally friendly agri-policy governance is mainly made up of farmers' organization, cooperative and civil society(NGO). And secondary bodies are agribusinesses and academic groups. Government interacts with the main bodies on administrative execution. And environmentally friendly agri-policy governance has MLG type with a central unit, province and county units. Environmentally friendly agri-policy governance has several main functions such as agri-policy partnership, speaking for farmer's rights and interests, investigation and research on domestic and foreign agricultural streams, and etc. Especially, local unit will play roles in activation for regional agriculture, consulting on technique and management, education and training services, services entrusted by government, and so on.

This study proposes the explanatory indices of urban traffic for the purpose of solving the ambiguity of selection of the explanatory variables, which always raises problems in case of the travel-demand forecasting in the urban transportation planning, and develops optimal urban traffic generation models. The multiple regression models for objective traffic generation are developed by using the proposed explanatory inidces. Objective variables that can be explained by one explanatory variable are modified into simple regression type (Y=bX) in order to ensure the nonnegativity of traffic generation. Similarities are noted in the generaton characteristics of generated traffic from homogeneous land-use activity. Objective variables that can not be explained by multiple variable, such as trip attraction of school and trip generation of social-recreation, are classified by the characteristics of each zone. And traffic generation forecasting models are built as homogeneous zone group, the validity of each model being tested by a statistical method. It is desired that the forecasting precision is in improved by easy and simple method. Accordingly, trip generation rates are calculated from each land-use activity, and trip generation rates for practical application are proposed by considering their stability.

Recently, the use of computer game by Korean teenagers is rapidly growing due to the expansion of the computer popularization and the development of game industry. Of all the teenagers, 82.4% have experience of playing computer game and statistics shows that 22.4% of them play everyday. There is an opinion that the computer game not only improves self confidence and concentration but also enhances internet use, foreign language usage and cognitive ability so that it accelerates learning efficacy and releases stress. On the other hand, there also exists a negative opinion on the symptoms of its addiction. Young(1996) warns that like other addictions, computer game addiction can provoke social problems such as loss of control, desire, marriage problem, schoolwork failure, financial deficiency and loss of employment. Therefore, this study has investigated how computer game addiction affects teenagers' personality. For this purpose, I have conducted the research on the reality of teenagers'computer game use, computer game addiction assessment, analysis on the difference between male and female, and on the relation between the level of computer game addiction and teenagers' personality. As a result, it is confirmed that the computer game addiction affects negatively to teenagers' personality such as stability, self-controlling, perceiving emotion, expressing emotion and controlling emotion.

Recently, issues related to the quality of concrete have continuously resulted in surface quality problems, such as the exfoliation of concrete surfaces due to the cost reduction of cement and poor quality fine aggregate, scaling of surfaces caused by laitance, and plastic shrinkage cracks. Prompted by social issues, the application of a photo catalyst to road structures is being attempted to solve the environmental problems caused by fine dust and automobile exhaust. In this study, chemical admixtures were developed to improve the surface quality of concrete and to apply and distribute titanium dioxide in nanoscale sizes to provide basic data for the development of a photocatalyst-curing agent. As a result of the experiment, silicon and silane were reviewed as a raw material as a curing agent to develop a high performance curing agent with better film performance than conventional curing agents because they could form a film quickly on a fresh concrete surface. The distributed stability of the ultrasonic disperser showed the best performance through an outdoor test for four weeks to review the dispersion measures for the application of nanomaterials.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effects of middle school students' participation in after-school sports on psychological well-being. A survey was conducted on 280 students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades attending two middle schools in Gongju-si, Chungnam, for one month from September 8 to October 17, 2019. The scale developed by Ryff (1995) was used to measure psychological stability. Subfactors including self-acceptance (6 questions), positive interpersonal relationships (5 questions), autonomy (6 questions), environmental control (5 questions), purpose of life (5 questions), and personal growth (5 questions) comprised a total of 32 questions measured on the Likert 5-point scale. The internal fit score (Cronbach's alpha) was .76-.83, with 146 students (52.1%) participating in after-school sports activities. The effect was high in the participant group. All variables, including the six subfactors, were verified statistically. These findings are consistent with the studies of Kang Myung-hwa (2011) and Kim Pan-su (2012), which reported that the sports activities of middle school students directly affect the development of emotions. This study verified the need to strengthen after-school sports activities and to engage problem children. After-school sports activities should be reviewed in the context of social issues that are becoming increasingly serious.
China's 'One Belt and One Load' is a national development strategy that aims to develop China and Eurasian Economic Area into a single economic Area by overland and sea routes. Thus, China's 'One Belt and One Load' construction will be a new engine for China and global economic development. At the same time, expected to have a significant impact on the international economic order and the enhancement the status of the Chinese economy. First of all, 'One Belt and One Load' will contribute to China's social stability by reducing the development gap between the East and West regions to some extent, as well as solving the problems of overcapacity and overproduction in China. Moreover, with a stable supply of energy resources, it will also contribute to the stable development of the Chinese economy. China's 'One Belt and One Load' will also enhance China's status by enhancing the level of Chinese influence and RMB in the international economy, in addition to the economic development of China and 'One Belt and One Load' consecutive countries. In particular, it will weaken the influence of the US, which has dominated the hegemony in the international community. Therefore, Korea, which maintains close economic relations with China, needs to prepare for countermeasures by closely monitoring the change in China's status as a result of China's 'One Belt and One Load' construction.
The different social reflections about the benefits and the potential risks of genetically modified (GM) crops have evolved with .different reactions in different countries. Many countries including Korea are working toward setting down new guidelines. Korea requires companies to label all food that contains more than 3% GM ingredients. One of the rapid and convenient detection methods of GM ingredients is amplification of the introduced DNAs by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Many PCR kits for this purpose are commercially available. The objective of this study was to evaluate performance of commercialized GM crop detection kits. The results showed that 6 out of 15 kits tested did not meet the requirements even purposed by the manufacturers themselves in terms of stability, reproducibility, and detection limits, suggesting a potential quality control problem in their design stage or production line. The evaluation also suggests that, although the duplex and triplex detection kits allowed unambiguous detection in a single PCR reaction, the monoplex detection kits were the most sensitive to the detection of GM ingredients. The detection limits also differ between soybean and corn. Results from this study will be useful in the development of sound qualitative tracking systems of GM ingredients for monitoring throughout the cultivation of GM crops, their trans-boundary movement, and food production using GM grains as well as for complying with government guidelines associated with GM crops.
This study examined the burnout intermediates between Fire officials' job stress and Ego-resilience. The objective of this study is to suggest a policy that improves Fire officials' Ego-resilience. This survey was given to 365 fire officials in northern Gyeonggi-do region and the data was analyzed by correlation analysis and regression analysis using SPPS 22.0. The hypothesis is the Fire officials' burnout would be related to Ego-resilience and the effect on Fire officials' job stress regarding Ego-resilience is associated with burnout. The results of the study are that unstable work and inadequate reward affect the measure of burnout, which manifests as sarcasm and job efficacy and reduces the Fire officials' Ego-resilience that results in a positive pointing of the future, emotion control and interest. The meaning of policy is as follows: First, Fire officials need to be given confidence in their work stability. Second, they have to receive social or financial rewards. Third, they require a continuous supporting policy that solves their tension, physical and mental fatigue. Finally, developing diverse educational programs will be needed to promote their Ego-resilience.

The positive changes in urban space and urban activities resulting from the urban services provided by Smart City is not accomplished by simply creating the physical environment built on ICT but through the cooperation and participation of citizens and private sector, which is in fact key to success. In this study, this research analyzed the role and structure of smart governance, which is a system of horizontal cooperation between public and private sector, and analyze its role in developing Smart City. The study also proposes various ways to facilitate such development in each of critical categories. For this purpose, this research studied 228 smart services across 11 categories registered in the Ministry of Land and Transport in Korea to analyze the spatial distribution of smart services by spatial hierarchy and their characteristics Also, the research conducted a case study of MetroGIS, which is an information collaboration governance system for the greater area of Minneapolis and St. Paul in the state of Minnesota, United States, to explore how governance is formed; its organizational structure; the role of sub-level organization hierarchy and their interrelationship. The results of the analysis suggest that the following conditions are required to create a smart city: first, public sector resource assistance for building community; second, enhanced communication system within the community and with outside the community; securing financial stability and establishing a model of sustainable development to induce the community to evolve into a governance form.
