A Public Perception Study on the new word "Corona Blue":Focusing on Social Media Big Data Analysis

  • The purpose of this study is to contribute to the provision of basic data for psychological quarantine policy and counseling by examining the public perception of the "corona blue" phenomenon through analysis of social media big data. To do this, key words related to the word 'Corona Blue' were derived and analyzed using the big data analysis program 'Textom'. As a result of the analysis, words such as 'Corona 19', 'depression', 'problem' and 'overcome' were derived as key words. For the analysis results,"pride and awarenes as the public perception of Corona 19", "depression and anxiety as a group trauma as the corona blue phenomenon", "spreading a psychological quarantine culture and demanding social healing as the perception of overcoming corona Blue," and "hope for return to daily life and changes in daily life as the perception of post corona" were discussed. In conclusion, we have identified the need for active psychological support from the community By revealing that Corona Blue is a depression as a group trauma. At this time, it is confirmed that it is necessary to prioritize social healing and psychological quarantine for the main risk groups such as youth or the vulnerable, who are the socially weak.

  • Big data analysis is a technique for effectively analyzing unstructured data such as the Internet, social network services, web documents generated in the mobile environment, e-mail, and social data, as well as well formed structured data in a database. The most big data analysis techniques are data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, and pattern recognition, which were used in existing statistics and computer science. Global research institutes have identified analysis of big data as the most noteworthy new technology since 2011. Therefore, companies in most industries are making efforts to create new value through the application of big data. In this study, we analyzed using the Social Matrics which a big data analysis tool of Daum communications. We analyzed public perceptions of "Artificial Intelligence" keyword, one month as of May 19, 2018. The results of the big data analysis are as follows. First, the 1st related search keyword of the keyword of the "Artificial Intelligence" has been found to be technology (4,122). This study suggests theoretical implications based on the results.

  • Big data analysis is the ability to collect, store, manage and analyze data from existing database management tools. Big data refers to large scale data that is generated in a digital environment, is large in size, has a short generation cycle, and includes not only numeric data but also text and image data. Big data is data that is difficult to manage and analyze in the conventional way. It has huge size, various types, fast generation and velocity. Therefore, companies in most industries are making efforts to create value through the application of Big data. In this study, we analyzed the meaning of keyword using Social Matrix, a big data analysis tool of Daum communications. Also, the theoretical implications are presented based on the analysis results.

  • The analysis method using Big Data has evolved based on the Big data Management Technology. There are quite a few researching institutions anticipating new era in data analysis using Big Data and IT vendors has been sided with them launching standardized technologies for Big Data management technologies. Big Data is also affected by improvements of IT gadgets IT environment. Foreran by social media, analyzing method of unstructured data is being developed focusing on diversity of analyzing method, anticipation and optimization. In the past, data analyzing methods were confined to the optimization of structured data through data mining, OLAP, statics analysis. This data analysis was solely used for decision making for Chief Officers. In the new era of data analysis, however, are evolutions in various aspects of technologies; the diversity in analyzing method using new paradigm and the new data analysis experts and so forth. In addition, new patterns of data analysis will be found with the development of high performance computing environment and Big Data management techniques. Accordingly, this paper is dedicated to define the possible analyzing method of social media using Big Data. this paper is proposed practical use analysis for social media analysis through data mining analysis methodology.

Suggested social media big data consulting chatbot service for restaurant start-ups

  • The food industry has been hit hard since the first outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019. However, as of April 2022, social distancing has been resolved and the restaurant industry has gradually recovered, interest in restaurant start-ups is increasing. Therefore, in this paper, 'restaurant start-up' was cited as a key keyword through social media big data analysis using TexTom, and word frequency and cone analysis were conducted for big data analysis. The keyword collection period was selected from May 1, 2022, when social distancing due to COVID-19 was lifted, to May 23, 2023, and based on this, a plan to develop chatbot services for restaurant start-ups was proposed. This paper was prepared in consideration of what to consider when starting a restaurant and a chatbot service that allows prospective restaurant founders to receive information more conveniently. Based on these analysis results, we expected to contribute to the process of developing chatbots for prospective restaurant founders in the future

  • As the use of big data is necessary for increasing business value, the size of the big data market is getting bigger. Accordingly, it is important to apply competitive patents in order to gain the big data market. In this study, we conducted the patent analysis based keyword network to analyze the trend of big data patents. The analysis procedure consists of big data collection and preprocessing, network construction, and network analysis. The results of the study are as follows. Most of big data patents are related to data processing and analysis, and the keywords with high degree centrality and between centrality are "analysis", "process", "information", "data", "prediction", "server", "service", and "construction". we expect that the results of this study will offer useful information in applying big data patent.

Social awareness of Arduino and artificial intelligence using big data analysis

  • This study aimed to identify the development direction of Arduino-based boards relating to artificial intelligence based on social awareness identified using big data analytical methods. For the purpose, big data were extracted through the Textom website, focusing on keywords that included 'Arduino + artificial intelligence' and 'Arduino + AI', and these data were refined and analyzed using the Textom website and the UNICET program. In this study, big data analyses, including frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, Degree Centrality analysis, N-gram analysis, and CONCOR analysis, were performed. The analyses' results confirmed that keywords relating to education and coding education, keywords relating to making and experience based on Arduino, and keywords relating to programs were the main keywords used in Arduino- and artificial intelligence-related Internet documents, and clusters were formed based on these keywords confirmed. The social awareness of Arduino and artificial intelligence was evaluated, and the direction of board development was identified based on this social awareness. This study is meaningful in that it identified various factors of board development based on the general public's social awareness, which was evaluated using a big data analysis method. This study may serve as a point of reference for future researchers or developers wishing to understand user needs using big data analysis methods.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the Starbucks in South Korea with Starbucks in U.S.A through the semantic network analysis of big data by collecting online data with SCTM(Smart Crawling & Text Mining) program which was developed by big data research institute at Kyungsung University, a data collecting and processing program. The data collection period was from January 1st 2014 to December 7th 2017, and packaged Netdraw along with UCINET 6.0 were utilized for data analysis and visualization. After performing CONCOR(convergence of iterated correlation) analysis and centrality analysis, this study illustrated the current characteristics of Starbucks for Korea and U.S.A reflected by the social network and the differences between Korea and U.S.A. Since the Starbucks was greatly developed, especially in Korea. this study also was supposed to provide significant and social-network oriented suggestions for Starbucks USA, Starbucks Korea and also the whole coffee industry. Also this study revealed that big data analytics can generate new insights into variables that have been extensively studied in existing hospitality literature. In addition, implications for theory and practice as well as directions for future research are discussed.

  • Big data analysis, in the large amount of data stored as the data warehouse which it refers the process of discovering meaningful new correlations, patterns, trends and creating new values. Thus, Big data analysis is an effective analysis of various big data that exist all over the world such as social big data, machine to machine (M2M) sensor data, and corporate customer relationship management data. In the big data era, it has become more important to effectively analyze not only structured data that is well organized in the database, but also unstructured big data such as the internet, social network services, and explosively generated web documents, e-mails, and social data in mobile environments. By the way, a meta analysis refers to a statistical literature synthesis method from the quantitative results of many known empirical studies. We reviewed a total of 750 samples among 50 studies published on the topic related as IDT between 2000 and 2017 in Korea.

  • Recently, SNS (Social Network Service) such as Twitter and Facebook has grown dramatically because of smart phones. Since development of IT has created massive information, social big data extremely increased. Competition between corporations is getting more intense, so they need customer feedback in order to fulfill an effective management. Because social big data plays an important role for getting customer feedback, a lot of corporations are interested in analyzing and applying of social big data. Collecting and analyzing social big data is operated by Buzz monitoring system. This paper demonstrates the research of buzz monitoring system that analyzes big data, and presents examples of customer reputation using buzz monitoring. In the paper, after all, it would analyze the result from the customer reputation, and research the implication.
