  • The Internet of Things(IoT) is a new promising technology made from a variety of technology. The IoT links the objects or people, then enabling anytime, anywhere connectivity for anything and not only for anyone. Social networking services have changed the way people communicate. Recently, new research challenges in many areas of Internet of things and social networking services are fired. In this paper, we propose things recommendation method using social relationship in social Internet of Things. We study previous researches about social network service, IoT, and social IoT. We proposed SIoT_FW(Social IoT Friendship Weight) using static and a dynamic social friendship weight. Also, our method considers four social relationships (Ownership Object Relationship, Co-Location Object Relationship, Social Object Relationship, Parental Object Relationship). We presents a music device scenario using our proposed method.

  • This research aims to analyze the role of social care services after the unification, assuming that the unification would occur in 2020 in a peaceful manner. While much has been discussed about the unification in recent years inside or outside academia, most of discussion tends to focus on political and economic dimensions. Also, social policy studies on North Korean defectors have increased, but few pay attention to social policy strategies after the possible unification. In this context, this study explores various explicit and implicit roles of social care services and possible strategies after the unification. As research methodology, it employs one of the scenario methods, 'TAIDA', for projecting and simulating uncertain future. In so doing, first, it reviews South and North Korean socio-economic experiences during last two decades as feedback and German unification experiences as feedforward. In addition, it utilizes a expert survey. Based on the reviews together with the survey result, it discusses various influences of social care services after the unification and draws policy implications. This research aruges that social care services could have profound effects on the stability of socio-economic conditions after the unification.

  • Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) have become popular for research and development in many areas. IoT makes a new intelligent network between things, between things and persons, and between persons themselves. Social network service technology is in its infancy, but, it has many benefits. Adjacent users in a social network tend to trust each other more than random pairs of users in the network. In this paper, we propose recommendation technique using social network in Internet of Things environment. We study previous researches about information recommendation, IoT, and social IoT. We proposed SIoT_P(Social IoT Prediction) using social relationships and item-based collaborative filtering. Also, we proposed SR(Social Relationship) using four social relationships (Ownership Object Relationship, Co-Location Object Relationship, Social Object Relationship, Parental Object Relationship). We describe a recommendation scenario using our proposed method.

  • In this paper, we propose the roles of social robots in educational environments. This proposal becomes an extension of R-learning. The purpose of social robots is the communication and interaction with human. Social robots have two roles. One is similar to the role of educational service robot and the other is communication role with people in education environments. We make an scenario to explain how to operate the roles of social robots using robot jibo SDK. The scenario was designed for mild interaction with the user in the educational environment. And it was made using jibo animation part to control the external reaction of jibo and behaviors part to control the internal reaction in jibo SDK. Social robots collect data effectively, based on grafting technologies and interaction with people in educational environments. Concludingly, various data collected by social robots contribute to solving problems, developing and establishing of educational environments.

  • Objectives : This study aimed to analyze the fundamentals of a Korea-China FTA and suggest strategies for Korean medicine market that correspond with each scenario selected from foreseen circumstances after the conclusion of the FTA through the scenario planning, which is one of management techniques. Methods : Four scenarios have been established by means of key questions : the scope of FTA, health care policies, and the combination of western medicine(WM) and Korean medicine(KM). Each scenario is defined as the Maximized Competitive Market, Neutral Market, General Completive Market, and Conservative Market. This study suggests brand marketing, extending of health insurance coverage, launching local network, and strategy for Korean medicine based health promotion programs. Results and Conclusions : Although Korean medicine could be prompted by the trade policies between countries, related studies are very limited. Therefore, more research is needed to suggest the detailed strategies for change of Korean medicine market through various strategic analysis tools.

  • The purpose of user participatory design is to project the images and demands of all the users of a school in person through their direct and active participation. Also, user participatory design is supposed to reduce the role of professionals who have led design to date and to expand the role of users and participants; thereby improving design quality in school construction. The study propose design realization methods using design camp courses and SNS based user participatory workshops. And The study propose on-offline based method and tool which are able to reflect diverse situations and purposes. Finally, the study proposed an application scenario for applying the above proposed methods efficiently in user participatory design. For the application scenario, the study proposed an SNS-based user participatory design method as the most appropriate for Korea.

  • This study on the social effects of Internet of Things (IoTs) provides an overview of future job prospects through the scenario planning approach, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that IoTs will bring in the future. IoTs and the related field of technological innovations have become increasingly important in both academic and business communities in the past few years because of computing power breakthrough and its price drop. IoTs enables people to deal with routine works efficiently and challenges them even in non-routine and/or cognitive tasks, which are considered a unique area for individuals. The scenario planning analysis helps us to define the uncertain boundary and to estimate the potential opportunities and inherent threats to provide decision makers with a mind map on how the development of IoTs can influence employment. To assess the potential effects on jobs described in our scenarios, we briefly examine the local structure of employment and discuss which careers are expected to decline or grow in particular among the 52 standard occupational classifications in Korea.

  • Among the themes for CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility), consumer issues include protecting the health and safety of consumers who purchase and use the products. In particular, ensuring product safety is a major theme of consumer issues for corporate social responsibility. Currently, the government implements the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act for product safety management and selects products that may harmful to consumers as safety control items, and manages the products by designating them as 4 types of safety certification, safety confirmation, supplier conformity verification, and safety standard compliance. In this paper, we propose management plans for the establishment of a more reasonable classification type of safety management target for 48 items of consumer products to be controlled by the act, and confirm the validity of the plan. First, we perform cluster analysis using data for CISS (Consumer Injury Surveillance System) to derive a new classification type of the safety management target. Next, we compare the results of the cluster analysis with the classification type of the act and the existing scenario classification method RAS (Risk Assessment by Scenario) and the causal network method RAMP (Risk Assessment Method based on Probability). Based on these results, we propose two new plans of safety management target classification and verify its validity.

  • Efficiency and limitations of HAZUS-MH, a GIS based systematic and informative system developed by FEMA and NIBS for natural hazard loss estimations, are discussed by means of a pilot study in the Korean Peninsular. Gyeongsang-do has been selected for the test after careful reviews of previous studies including historical and modern seismicity in the peninsular. A ShakeMap for the selected scenario earthquake with magnitude 6.7 in Gyeongju area is prepared. Then, any losses due to the scenario event have been estimated using HAZUS. Results of the pilot test show that the study area may experience significant physical, economic and social damages. Detailed study in the future will provide efficient and crucial information to the decision makers and emergency agents to mitigate any disaster posed by natural hazards.

  • With the exponential developments of social network, their fundamental role as a medium to spread information, ideas, and influence has gained importance. It can be expressed by the relationships and interactions within a group of individuals. Therefore, some models and researches from various domains have been in response to the influence maximization problem for the effects of "word of mouth" of new products. For example, in reality, more than two related social groups such as commercial companies and service providers exist within the same market issue. Under such a scenario, they called social adversaries competitively try to occupy their market influence against each other. To address the influence maximization (IM) problem between them, we propose a novel IM problem for social adversarial players (IM-SA) which are exploiting the social network attributes to infer the unknown adversary's network configuration. We sophisticatedly define mathematical closed form to demonstrate that the proposed scheme can have a near-optimal solution for a player.
