A Study on UI Design of Social Networking Service Messenger by Using Case Analysis Model

  • The visual presentation is one key feature which gives much consideration in designing mobile applications as it acquires attention from the end user. It takes only a few milliseconds to form an impression on a person and this is not any different to the web and mobile application designs. The first few milliseconds are a crucial time for developers as the impression produced would indicate further engagement of the service. Developers should continuously update the designs based on human needs. A few of these contents have actually paved its way to being continuously used. By synthesizing results of preceding researchers, this paper considers layout, color, and font as UI design elements of SNS messenger, and illustration and animation as the graphic image of it. In this study, the preference for messaging application chat layout was being surveyed and analyzed. As a result, there has been little significance identified since the instant messaging, so chat layout shows very minimal variance in their design.

A Comparative Analysis between General Comments and Social Comments on an Online News Site (온라인 뉴스 사이트에서의 일반댓글과 소셜댓글의 비교분석)

  • As the individual participation in online news sites proliferates, the importance of online news comments has been increasing. Social comment services which help people leave comments on news articles using their own SNS (social networking site) accounts have gained popularity recently. Using data gathered from an online news site, this study, therefore, (1) identifies factors differentiating social comments from general comments, (2) examines how social comments are significantly different from general comments in terms of each factor, (3) and further validates how the social comments' characteristics vary among different type of SNS. Then, we investigated this study by applying t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan test of SPSS Statistics. Our results provide insights on the significant differences in all the factors between general and social comments. We also found that there is a significant difference between Facebook and Twitter groups among three types of SNS. The findings of this study would help assess the actual benefit of social comment services as they may provide us with several valuable leads to solve the malicious comments issue. Moreover, they would suggest the need to apply this service to other areas, such as online environments in private and public sectors.

  • The Effects of Social Capital on Occupational Aspiration in University Students This study aims to understand the impact of social capital (parent-child relationship, human network, and SNS use) on the occupational aspiration level in university students based on Coleman's Social Capital Concept. To achieve this, statistical significance test was conducted through correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The major study findings are as follows. As a result of correlation analysis, it was found that Other variables, except for parent's occupational of social capital had a positive effect on vocational aspiration. Also. as a result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis, it was found that parent-child relationship, human network obtained from social activities, Social Networking Service use and usefulness of information - social capital factors - had a statistically significant impact on occupational aspiration. Such findings suggest that the process of possessing and acquiring social capital among university students served as an important achievement-oriented value in terms of social mobility.

  • The era of Big Data has come and the importance of Big Data has been rapidly growing. The part of transportation, the Four-Step Travel Demand Model(FSTDM), a traditional Trip-Based Model(TBM) reaches its limit. In recent years, a traffic demand forecasting method using the Activity-Based Model(ABM) emerged as a new paradigm. Given that transportation means the spatial movement of people and goods in a certain period of time, transportation could be very closely associated with spatial data. So, I mined Spatial Big Data from SNS. After that, I analyzed the character of these data from SNS and test the reliability of the data through compared with the attributes of TBM. Finally, I built a database from SNS for the operation of ABM and manipulate an ABM simulator, then I consider the result. Through this research, I was successfully able to create a spatial database from SNS and I found possibilities to overcome technical limitations on using Spatial Big Data in the transportation planning process. Moreover, it was an opportunity to seek ways of further research development.

  • 최근 인터넷과 통신기술, 특히 모바일과 관련된 기술의 급속한 발전으로 소셜 커뮤니케이션 수단으로 대표되는 SNS(Social Networking Service)가 중요한 이슈로 부각되어지고 있다. SNS 서비스 제공시 중요하게 고려되어져야 할 사항은 정확하고 의미 있는 데이터를 통해서 사용자가 원하고 관심 있는 분야의 정보를 어떻게 제공할 것인가에 초점이 맞춰져 있어야 한다. 그러나 최근 폭발적으로 증가되어지고 있는 소셜 데이터 때문에 사용자는 의미 분석이 정확하게 이루어지지 않은 신뢰성이 결여된 소셜 커뮤니케이션 서비스를 제공받고 있다. 이러한 소셜데이터 분석의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 필요한 데이터를 수집하고, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 수집된 대용량 SNS 데이터의 의미를 분석 할 수 있는 MapReduce 기반의 분석 모듈의 구조를 제안하였다. 제안한 모듈은 의미 분석에 필요한 소셜 데이터를 수집하는 수집 기능과 수집된 소셜데이터의 의미 분석을 수행하는 분석 기능을 포함하고 있다. 수집 기능은 SNS에서 생성되는 텍스트 형태의 데이터를 수집하고 MapReduce를 통해서 데이터를 분석하기 쉽게 적절한 크기로 생성된 파일을 분할한다. 수집된 소셜 데이터의 의미 분석은 기존 TF-IDF 방식에 개선된 Weighted-MINMAX 적용한 알고리즘을 통해서 구현하였다. 개선된 알고리즘은 단어의 중요도를 평가하고, 중요도가 높은 단어로 구성된 의미정보 제공 서비스를 지원한다. 시스템의 성능 평가를 위해서 노드별 데이터 처리시간과 추출 키워드의 정확도를 측정하였다.

Extracting of Interest Issues Related to Patient Medical Services for Small and Medium Hospital by SNS Big Data Text Mining and Social Networking (중소병원 환자의료서비스에 관한 관심 이슈 도출을 위한 SNS 빅 데이터 텍스트 마이닝과 사회적 연결망 적용)

  • Purposes: The purpose of this study is to analyze the issue of interest in patient medical service of small and medium hospitals using big data. Methods: The method of this study was implemented by data mining and social network using SNS big data. The analysis tool were extracted key keywords and analyzed correlation by using Textom, Ucinet6 and NetDraw program. Findings: In the results of frequency, the network-centered and closeness centrality analysis, It was shown that the government center is interested in the major explanations and evaluations of the technology, information, security, safety, cost and problems of small and medium hospitals, coping with infections, and actual involvement in bank settlement. And, were extracted care for disabilities such as pediatrics, dentistry, obstetrics and gynecology, dementia, nursing, the elderly, and rehabilitation. Practical Implications: Future studies will be more useful if analyzed the needs of customers for medical services in the metropolitan area and provinces may be different in the small and medium hospitals to be studied, further classification studies.

  • In this paper, representative social network services(SNS) of Korea, China, and America such as Cyworld, Renren and Facebook were analyzed in regards to their business strategies and successful factors. From the analysis results, it was found that their common business strategies are strengthening a sense of belonging by providing differentiated customer services and by increasing customer satisfaction and this kind of strategies were naturally connected to the corporate marketing. So, Maintaining their own differentiated services, SNS companies should make a constant efforts to meet customers' needs on the base of success factors. Companies which will carry out marketing with SNS should also improve their images through communication with customers, utilizing services provided by SNS companies which match well with companies using SNS as a means of marketing. As various extensive researches are being conducted on SNS which enabled online networking, such findings will be usefully referred for similar researches and will provide theoretical basis and practical guidelines for future researches.

  • In this paper, our goal is to investigate the influencing factors on the online-based interpersonal relationships formation of the SNS users. To achieve this, first, we collected the influencing factors on the online-based interpersonal relationships, conducted survey, and then we analyzed the data with the PLS(Partial Least Square) and structural equation. As a result, we verified the main cause of factors as personal, relational and environmental factors and 8 kinds of detailed factor as social attraction, physical attraction, informational post, reciprocality, similarity, contents quality, web appearance and perceived spatiality are the influencing factors on the online-based interpersonal relationships dimensions. Finally, these factors were proposed as the influencing factors on the online-based interpersonal relationships formation of the SNS users.

  • With the development and invention of computer and internet, GIS (Geographic Information System) has provided diverse services to users. Web 2.0, the next generation web, has been developed to create a new business by accumulating and structuring information from many users. The characteristics of Web 2.0 are blog, longtail distribution, SNS, DCC, collective intelligence, and so on. This study proposes a GIS 2.0 service model to maximize the introduction effect and use of GIS by the method that two-way communication and the participation of consumer, characteristics of Web 2.0, are used to build more practical GIS rather than providing spatial information in one-way and simple inquiry oriented way.

  • Recently, the web 2.0 services which appear by exponential extension of the Internet can be expressed with the changes in the quality of structural evolution and in the quantity of increasing users. The structural base is in user participational architecture, the web 2.0 services such as Blog, UCC, SNS(Social Networking Service), Mash-up, Long tail, etc. play a important role in organization of web, and grouping and searching of user participational data in web 2.0 is broadly used by folksonomy. Folksonomy is a new form that categorizes by tags, not classic taxonomy skill. it is made by user participation. Searching based on tag is now done by a simple text or a tag cloud method. But searching to consider and express the relations among each tags is imperfect yet. Thus, this paper provides the relational searching based on tags using the relational graph of tags. It should improve the trust of the searching and provide the convenience of the searching.
