  • The paper examines critical factors affecting consumer behavioral intentions in accepting online health communication through social networking sites. Unlike recent research under this topic, the paper assimilates some components of service quality dimensions and consumer behavior theories. The paper employs factor analysis and structural equation modelling analysis with latent variables to identify critical factors from the survey data collected from Korean consumers. The results of the study identifies three major constructs: consumer needs for health information, the perceived value of tangible attributes of health information providers, and the perceived value of intangible attributes of health information providers. The results show that consumer needs for health information and the tangible and intangible attributes of health information providers should be considered as important antecedents of accepting online health communication through social networking sites. The findings suggest that the success of online health communication via social networking sites largely depends on the tangible and intangible attributes of health information providers.

  • In the early stages of a software project, it is critical to understand the needs of the customers and elicit their customer requirements. Various requirements elicitation methods have been proposed. However, existing methods still have the limitations such as a limited number of target customers, limited expression of customers' opinions, and difficulty in collecting the customers' opinions continuously. A novel method for eliciting customer requirements is proposed by utilizing a social network service (SNS), which is a shared source of raw information of the customers' needs and opinions. The proposed method is validated to show its effectiveness in overcoming the limitations of existing methods.

To achieve this goal, this study analyzed the reprocessed result of the survey related to the welfare of the aged among the second and third community social welfare plans of D county, Southern Jeolla Province. The result shows the recipients of the welfare service of the aged have higher perception about spreading the hardware side such as the welfare facility of the aged than about practicing the software policy such as elder care services. It suggests significant implication in deciding the priority of the welfare policy of the aged from now on. But this result is confined in D county, so getting the generalized conclusion needs the comprehensive review toward more broad regions hereafter.

  • Anti-oppressive practice (AOP) is a form of social work practice that has developed in the UK. In South Korea, Anti-oppressive social work has not been widely studied / explored unlike in other countries in the world. Its main principles, social justice and human rights, have become commonplace. AOP includes transformational practice because its orientation emphasizes social change through celebrating diverse identities and rejecting hierarchies of oppression and prestige. Recently, a growing body of literature on social work with foreign workers has resulted in an increased understanding of its population and its needs. It needs a theoretical and practical framework for foreign workers necessary to inform effective models of service delivery, reflecting cultural competence, and changing oppressive social structure. In this paper, we will introduce the main principles of AOP, analyse written texts reflected by foreign workers and social work practitioners' opinion, and suggest the implications on possibilities and constraints of applicability to foreign workers in South Korea.

  • This paper deals with technology relevance analysis, which measures technological dependency between needs technology and its component technology as well as between needs technologies. The two-round survey was carried out: In the first round, a wide range of needs technologies in construction and building industry were identified and classified to meet a variety of social needs which were anticipated in the near future of Korea. In the second, relevance between needs technology and its component technologies was checked by some 120 experts. Based on the survey results, the individual relevances among needs technologies were computed. Finally the ranking of needs technologies in construction industry was set according to the degree of technology relevance. This relevance is to be used as one of criteria for the selection of national R&D projects which the Ministry of Construction and Transportation plans to promote in the next five years.

  • Demands onenterprise applications are changing drastically in terms of service and value. Currently enterprises have started to view these applications as service systems, as they combine technology with organizational networks designed to deliver services that satisfy the needs of customers and marketing operations. Social networking is playing a crucial role in this direction and provides organizations with the critical data that enable to build strong relationships with their customers and partners. Enterprises have started using this concept, by integrating social networking services with their enterprise applications such as CRM. In this paper, we combine an open source social networking engine with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application to constitute a social CRM system. This can bring the customers closer to the enterprise and facilitate better communication with them. Social Networking Analysis constructs were used to analyze the effectiveness of service system. In the current competitive and economically challenging conditions, salespeople needs to quickly and effectively establish meaningful communication with customers. Our approach can address this issue, by handling the changing customer demands in minimal time, and increases service quality and business value.

  • This study looked through the text mining analysis to check the status of the virtual assistant service, and explore the needs of consumers, and present consumer-oriented directions. Trendup 4.0 was used to analyze the keywords of AI services in Online News and social media from 2016 to 2020. The R program was used to collect consumer comment data and implement Topic Modeling analysis. According to the analysis, the number of mentions of AI services in mass media and social media has steadily increased. The Sentimental Analysis showed consumers were feeling positive about AI services in terms of useful and convenient functional and emotional aspects such as pleasure and interest. However, consumers were also experiencing complexity and difficulty with AI services and had concerns and fears about the use of AI services in the early stages of their introduction. The results of the consumer review analysis showed that there were topics(Technical Requirements) related to technology and the access process for the AI services to be provided, and topics (Consumer Request) expressed negative feelings about AI services, and topics(Consumer Life Support Area) about specific functions in the use of AI services. Text mining analysis enable this study to confirm consumer expectations or concerns about AI service, and to examine areas of service support that consumers experienced. The review data on each platform also revealed that the potential needs of consumers could be met by expanding the scope of support services and applying platform-specific strengths to provide differentiated services.
