Composition and process conditions for low temperature sintered NiCuZn ferrites were investigated, so as to fabricate multilayered chip inductor. The$Fe_2O_3$ deficiency for low temperature sintering was decreased with NiO contents of NiCuZn ferrites. The permeability of NiCuZn ferrites can be controlled in the range of 12~562 with the variation of NiO and $Co_3O_4$ contents. The $Q_{max} $ frequency of NiCuZn ferrites was decreased from 50 MHz to 3 MHz linearly with permeability increase from 60 to 560. The relation between the $Q_{max}$ frequency(Y) and permeability(X) of NiCuZn ferrites was expressed with the following empirical equation, logY=4.2-1.4logX.

Cases of interstitial deletions of the long arm of chromosome 17 are very rare, with only nine cases ever reported worldwide. We describe a 12-year-old boy with profound developmental delay, microcephaly, facial dysmorphism, contracture of the large joints and bilateral hearing loss. A chromosomal study using a peripheral blood sampled revealed 46,XY,del(17)(q22q23). To our knowledge, he is the first case of interstitial deletion of the long arm of chromosome 17 ever reported in Korea.

Differential cryptanalysis and linear cryptanalysis are the most powerful approaches known for attacking many block ciphers and used to evaluating the security of many block ciphers. So designers have designed secure block ciphers against these cryptanalyses. In this paper, we present new three block cipher structures. And for given r, we prove that differential(linear) probabilities for r-round blockcipher structures are upper bounded by $p^2(q^2),\;2p^2(2q^2)$ if the maximum differential(linear) probability is p(q) and the round function is a bijective function.

Schizophragma hydrangeoides (S. hydrangeoides) is a vine endogenous to Jeju Island and Ulleungdo, where it grows attached to the foothills and rock surfaces. Previous research has mostly focused on the whitening effect of S. hydrangeoides leaf extract. In this study, we investigated S. hydrangeoides leaf extract further, and detected four phytochemicals in the extract: chlorogenic acid, quercetin-3-O-glucosyl-(1-2)-rhamnoside, quercetin-3-O-xylosyl-(1-2)-rhamnoside, and quercitrin. We pretreated human dermal fibroblast (HDFn) cells with previously established concentrations of the four compounds for 1 h before ultraviolet A (UVA) irradiation. Among the four compounds, quercetin-3-O-glucosyl-(1-2)-rhamnoside (Q-3-GR) best inhibited matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) levels. Thus, we investigated the protective effects of Q-3-GR on photoaging and its underlying mechanisms. Q-3-GR significantly reduced MMP-1 production and inhibited MMP-1 protein expression in UVA-irradiated HDFn cells. Furthermore, Q-3-GR increased procollagen type I production and protein expression. Q-3-GR exerted its anti-photoaging effects by downregulating the mitogen-activated protein kinase/ activator protein-1 signaling pathway, and upregulating the transforming growth factor-β/Smad signaling pathway. Thus, S. hydrangeoides leaf-derived Q-3-GR is a potential potent cosmetic ingredient for UV-induced skin aging.

I think it would be better to rewrite the Korean abstract. To analyze the personal characteristics of the participants and identify their perception of violence using the Q methodology, the scores of 20 parenting parents on 25 Q cards were statistically analyzed using forced normal distribution. There are three factors and from the most agreeable to the most disagreeable statements, they have shown their perception of violence. It was helpful in identifying parents' subjective perceptions and types of child abuse, and it suggested the need to define child abuse so that parents can have a correct perception of child abuse, rather than an abstract perception. In this perspective, the results of this study provide preliminary data for improving the recognition of parenting parents on child abuse.

In this paper, the characteristics of single-phase line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor driven by constant voltage are analyzed on d-q axis vector diagram and compared with that of current controlled motor. The coupled method of symmetrical coordinates and d-q axis voltage equation are applied to the analysis method like the analysis of single-phase induction motor. From the result of the analysis, it is seen that motors driven by constant voltage source have effects on not only the amplitude of current and torque but also current and current phase angle, so overall characteristics such as power factor and load angle are affected by circuit parameters. For precise analysis and design of single-phase line-start synchronous motor, its characteristics should be analyzed on d-q axis vector plan in consideration of the variation of circuit parameters.

In this paper, we construct eight infinite families of ternary linear codes associated with double cosets with respect to certain maximal parabolic subgroup of the special orthogonal group $SO^-$(2n, q). Here q is a power of three. Then we obtain four infinite families of recursive formulas for power moments of Kloosterman sums with square arguments and four infinite families of recursive formulas for even power moments of those in terms of the frequencies of weights in the codes. This is done via Pless power moment identity and by utilizing the explicit expressions of exponential sums over those double cosets related to the evaluations of "Gauss sums" for the orthogonal groups $O^-$(2n, q).

In this paper, we propose a signal generation method of rectangular QAM for rotationally invariant I/Q TCM. The proposed method consists of only digital logic gates without look-up table so that we can implement the system compactly. Our scheme can be applied to every rectangular QAM with the level higher than 64.

Q+-reader, an E-Book reader system for XML based contents is introduced. The system is developed for the embedded platform, called Q+, which targets for the digital home electronics systems. The system supports XML contents and CSS based styling as described in Open e-Book standard. The system renders the e-book contents for users, so the contents are secured for a proper use. This will found an essential part of business infra for electronic books with copyright protection. The system was developed in Java language to be used in various platforms, and has an open architecture to be reusable for other standards as well.

In this article a comprehensive review of the Rock Mass Rating and Q-rockmass classification systems is made with reference to their scope with in the constraints of underground mining operations. The modifications suggested by KIGAM for both the RMR and Q for the calculation of a safe unsupported span were tested for Daesung and Pyunghae underground limestone mines. Even though the suggested modifications were site specific, the additional parameters considered in the above classification systems are very significant for a design of stable underground openings, considering any general mining conditions.
