The concentration of sulfur dioxide in Wonju City was predicted using TCM (Texas Climatological Model). We have studied the transportation and wet deposition of $SO_2$ using the TCM and the analysis of rainfalls. The results are as follows : At the Hak-Sung Dong site in Wonju city, the correlation coefficient between the measured and calculated concentrations were 0.904. Sulfur dioxide was washed out by wet deposition. The wet deposition ratio to total amount of emitted sulfur dioxide was higher in summer than in autumn and winter seasons due to heavy rainfall in summer. The correlation coefficient between the precipitation and wet deposition of sulfur dioxide was 0.68. The months with greater rainfall showed that the measured concentrations of sulfur dioxide were much lower than the predicted ones. Although the amount of precipitation in April was smaller than in summer, the wet deposition ratio in April was much higher than any other months, due to the sulfur dioxide that was adsorbed on particulate matter and moisture was transported during the period of yellow sand phenomena from China.

This paper presents a modem chip design for high-speed wireless communications. Among the high-speed communication technologies, we design the UWB (Ultra-Wideband) modem SoC (System-on-Chip) Chip based on a MB-OFDM scheme which uses wide frequency band and gives low frequency interference to other communication services. The baseband system of the modem SoC chip is designed according to the standard document published by WiMedia. The SoC chip consists of FFT/IFFT (Fast Fourier Transform/Inverse Fast Fourier Transform), transmitter, receiver, symbol synchronizer, frequency offset estimator, Viterbi decoder, and other receiving parts. The chip is designed using 90nm CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) procedure. The chip size is about 5mm x 5mm and was fab-out in July 20th, 2009.

The existed transmissions have PDH and SDH transmission system, which are based on PSTN network. But as the future ATM network is going to be constructed, it is very necessary for ATM network to interwork with PSTN for telephony service. The international standardization organizations like ITU-T, ATM Forum offered CES, VTOA1, VTOA2 and so on for interworking with PSTN service, which spend many network resources and considerable transmission delay. So in this paper, new interworking PSTN for transmission will be proposed to lessen the transmission delay and the network resources.

We have known that "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)" had been written by Yanggyeju(楊繼洲) in Myeong(明) Dynasty. And it had been the only text book of acupuncture & moxibustion for 300 years. This book is composed of 10 chapters dealing almost all the medical theories of that times. This book is so enormous that it is hard to understand essential ideas of author. The reading medical records is one of the best way to develop one's abilities of curing a disease without clinical practice. so we can't help dealing with medical records, because it is one of important method of understanding Oriental Medicine. On this study, we investigate a objective method on understanding medical records in "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)".

In this paper, we propose a new driving mode control algorithm for a mobile robot based on obstacle detection. The robot has a variable geometry single-tracked mechanism, so it can maximize a contact length with ground for the adaptability to off-road and puesue a stable system due to the lower center of gravity. However this robot system embodied passive type according to operator. In this reason, several problems are detected. So, this research presents a new method of obstacle detection using PSD infrared sensors and translates the variable tracks on the best suited driving mode actively. And experimental results about mentioned are presented.

Most of Instrumentation and control system in Nuclear Power Plant using analog equipment has a limitations in system designing and operation. So the network based PLC application to Nuclear Power Plant has been studied so far. This paper defines the configuration and method with Prototype which are to be applied to NPCS(NSSS Process Control System) of KNGR (Korea Next Generation Reactor). It is expected that Test result of NPCS Pototype will satisfy the essential requirements in designing KNGR.

기존의 임베디드 기기의 하드웨어는 리눅스의 장점에도 불구하고 임베디드 기기들의 프로세서나 메모리 등의 하드웨어 자원이 Built-in 형태로 제공되어 시스템 운용 환경 변화에 맞춘 대응이 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 i.MX6Q SABRE Board for Smart Devices를 참조하여 메모리를 교체할 수 있도록 SO-DIMM을 장착하고 PCIe 이더넷을 추가한 개발보드를 만들었다. 그리고 개발보드에 추가 및 변경 된 하드웨어 디바이스를 활성화한 새로운 임베디드 시스템을 이식하는 방법을 제시한다. 구현 및 성능 분석 결과 새로운 임베디드 시스템에서 운용자는 시스템 운용 시 환경 변화에 대응하여 메모리를 바꾸어 장착할 수 있게 되었고 이로 인해 시스템의 요구사항에 따라 자원의 확정성 및 유연성이 높아짐을 확인하였다.

Although electricity market structures may be different from each country, they have a long-term forward market and a short-term spot market in general. Particularly, a bilateral contract transacted at a long-term forward market fixes the electricity price between a genco and a customer so that the customer can avoid risk due to price-spike in the spot market. The genco also can make an efficient risk-hedging strategy through the bilateral contract. In this paper, we propose a new mechanism for deriving the optimal bilateral contract price using game theory. This mechanism can make the customer reveal his true willingness to purchase so that an adequate bilateral contract price is derived.

Due to the development of Internet and networking technologies, it is much more easier to get in touch with public service through the web services such as tax, travel information, getting a job, etc. In order to measure the quality of official government web sites, we are to test the difference between the web quality of the government sites and the offline feature of the same official service by means of customer perspectives. The resulting of this study show that the quality of official web site has been improved so far though such areas as privacy, security needed to be updated. Especially the web interface or contact point of the digital media should be reflected customer's need so that the online materials may be quickly updated according to the request of client's.
