A Study on the Direction of Smart Furniture by Changes in Ubiquitous Technology-Based Residential Environment

  • This study is intended to forecast changes in Ubiquitous technology-based residential environment since the digital revolution so as to suggest the direction of furniture design in the near future. Among Ubiquitous technologies, the intelligent digital technology applied to a residential environment is defined as "Smart Digital Technology." Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy named the residential environment where such technology is applied "Smart Home." Smart Home is strategically creating intelligent residential environment where interactivity is made between human, furniture and residential environment, based on home automation, home network and intelligent sensor technology. Smart furniture is based on strategic characteristics of smart home. Its convergence with IT equipments is being made. Largely, smart furniture has three characteristics as below: First, smart furniture provides users with information on home management, health management, education and fashion. not just functioning as storage space. Second, smart furniture that is a new lifestyle pattern will suggest a new aesthetic standard based on unsettled shapes and innovative structure. Finally, it gives convenience to users intelligently. Namely, smart furniture, "intelligent informative furniture", will be suggested as a new paradigm.

Device-Centered Personalized Product Recommendation Method using Purchase and Share Behavior in E-Commerce Environment (이커머스 환경에서 구매와 공유 행동을 이용한 기기 중심 개인화 상품 정보 추천 기법)

  • Personalized recommendation technology is one of the most important technologies in electronic commerce environment. It helps users overcome information overload by suggesting information that match user's interests. In e-commerce environment, both mobile device users and smart device users have risen dramatically. It creates new challenges. Our method suggests product information that match user's device interests beyond only user's interests. We propose a device-centered personalized recommendation method. Our method uses both purchase and share behavior for user's devices interests. Moreover, it considers data type preference for each device. This paper presents a new recommendation method and algorithm. Then, an e-commerce scenario with a computer, a smartphone and an AI-speaker are described. The scenario shows our work is better than previous researches.

  • Distribution channels are changing its industry paradigm from quantitative increase to qualitative improvement. In addition, it incorporates new characteristics and consumption tread of customers and the core value of service is developing focused around on online to offline (O2O) business model of omnichannel. In this respect, companies are integrating various distribution channels and in order to provide high content business service to customers, their interest in finding a new business strategy is increasing. Currently, most of the service being provided to customers are formed based on distribution structure centered around big companies and financial industry and the problems faced by small to medium and micro enterprises, which are expansion and improvement of channels, discovery of new distribution channels and finding O2O marketing strategy, can be said as very important task. Accordingly, this research purports to create added values which can serve as the driving force of growth of "creative economy" by improving distribution channels in which anyone who incorporates needs of smart consumers can enter into the smart commerce market and to further form sustainable win-win market that is strategic through business platforms for small to medium and micro enterprises therefrom.

A Study on the Effect of Service Quality, Consumer Empathy and Shopping Value on Curation Commerce Satisfaction

  • Purpose: This study was based on curation commerce that has been rapidly developing. It looked into the effect of curation commerce's quality of service factors (information quality, information interest quality, interaction quality, and personalization quality) on satisfaction and the mediating effect of consumer empathy and shopping value between service qualities and consumers' satisfaction with curation commerce. Research design, data, and methodology: The survey was conducted on 273 consumers who used Chinese curation commerce services. The research data was analyzed using the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The empirical analysis was conducted with reliability and validity analyses of the questionnaire and hypothesis test. Results: As a result, only the quality of information had a direct impact on satisfaction. The remaining service quaility factors (information interest quality, interaction quality, and personalization quality) were found to affect satisfaction through utilitarian value or consumer empathy. Conclusions: This study is meaningful in that it selected the service quality factors experienced by consumers about curation commerce services in line with the bright market prospects of curation services. In addition, the significance of this study was to reveal the psychological mechanism of the process in which the quality of service reaches consumer satisfaction.

  • Purpose: This study focuses on the performance of the strategy of Indonesia's companies in facing the development of e-commerce business. The relationship between Knowledge Management (Organizational Memory, Knowledge Sharing, Knowledge Absorption, Knowledge Acceptance), Organizational Innovativeness, Competitive Advantage (Time, Quality, Cost, Flexibility) and E-Commerce (Humanistic Factors: Management, Competence, Organizational Structures) examined in this case study. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses two types such us qualitative and quantitative. A survey approach were conducted to collect data from the Group of Companies (Director and Manager), Academician (Lecturer), Regulator (Head of Government Institution Division), and Master of Management (at least five years). Total of 114 samples was collected and processed for statistical analysis using Smart PLS. Results: This study provide the findings proved that Knowledge Management and Organization Innovativeness simultaneously have positive influence on Competitive Advantage, while Knowledge Management, Organization Innovativeness, and Competitive Advantage simultaneously have positive influence on E-commerce where Competitive Advantage positively influence to E-commerce. Conclusions: The implementation of strategies or steps in this study are expected to steer and motivate an organization to successfully implement a good knowledge management system to pass on knowledge from generation to generation in the company Organizational Innovativeness strategies to improve e-commerce performance.

  • Smart Jewelry is applied to the components of the Internet of Things. The process of obtaining the status information to the input of the sensor. And it controls the light color of the LED. Because to express the beauty of twinkling lights that can be felt in the jewelery and aesthetic functions were applied in order to feel the mystery. Smart Jewelry is capable of communication, interaction, wearable. Smart jewelery was equipped with a color, temperature, ambient light sensor. It was designed to allow interaction with a Bluetooth module. Applying an algorithm so that the light jewelry colors can vary depending on the circumstances of the smart jewelry wearer had been implemented by the mobile application. It can be realized in digital technology and the convergence of life. It presents the orientation development of the smart jewelery device on IoT environment.

The Effects of Live Commerce's Experience Economy Factors on Consumer's Flow, Attitude, and Purchase Intention

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the experience factors (4Es) of live commerce that provide differentiated value for consumers based on Pine & Gilmore's experience economy and analyze the relationships between experience factors, flow, attitude, and purchase intention. This study conducted an online survey to collect live commerce user responses and employed a path analysis to test the research hypotheses, using Smart PLS 4.0. The results of the study were as follows: 1) all experience factors had significant effects on flow, 2) both entertainment experience and educational experience had significant effects on attitude, while esthetic experience and escapist experience did not have significant effects on attitude, 3) flow had a significant effect on attitude and purchase intention respectively, and 4) attitude had a significant effect on purchase intention. The findings of the study are expected to provide the implications for further research and marketing strategies grounded on the understanding of the experience factors in live commerce.

  • The online retail market continues to grow, especially in China, as e-commerce has developed rapidly in recent years in many countries. Meanwhile, the development and use of new network information technology provides consumers with various contact and experience environments for online shopping. Based on the theory of media weakness, the study began to focus consumer experience on the nature of commercial transactions. The study proposed and designed an initial measure of the consumer information evaluation index, which combines previous findings with implications. Finally, the five-dimensional B2C system was established to evaluate consumers' information experience providing information display, information interaction, information support and information personalization. We researched on evaluation index system for information experience of B2C e-commerce consumers based on samples of Chinese consumers.

  • M-commerce protocols have usually been developed using informal design and verification techniques. However, many security protocols thought to be secure was found to be vulnerable later. With the rise of smart card's usage, mobile e-commerce services with CEPS which is one of e-commerce transaction standards has been increased. In this paper, we describe a methodology to analyze the security of e-commece protocols and identify the security vulnerability of the CEPS based good purchase and e-money load protocols using formal verification technique. Finally, we discuss a countermeasure against the vulnerability in the purchase transaction protocol.

  • 본 논문에서는 불매운동에 따른 스마트폰의 수출영향에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 2019년에 일본의 한국에 대한 수출규제로 일어난 한국의 불매운동에 대응하여 역으로 일본에서 한국제품 불매운동이 일어난 바 있다. 이 사례를 활용하여, 한국의 일본 수출에 얼마나 타격을 입었는지 살펴보기로 한다. 연구 과정 전반에 걸쳐 수출물품 중 스마트폰의 수출량과 시장 점유율의 변화추이를 살펴보면서 불매운동과 스마트폰의 수출의 상관관계를 알아보았다. 이를 통해 불매운동이 수출입에 미치는 영향과 극복방안을 모색해 볼 수 있는 기회가 됐으면 한다.
