Purpose: In the post-COVID-19, many consumers still feel uncomfortable with crowding in closed spaces. This study investigates how non-crowding affects consumer satisfaction and restaurant visit intention. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from 350 people aged 20 and above. A total of 347 respondents, excluding 3 unfaithful respondents, were analyzed using Smart PLS 4.0 program. Result: Both spatial and human crowding have significant effects on satisfaction. On the other hand, neither spatial nor human crowding directly affected dine-out intention significantly. In addition, spatial crowding was found to have a direct and significant effect on in-store dining intention, but human crowding did not have a direct and significant effect on in-store dining intention. It was found that satisfaction had a significant effect on both dine-out intention and in-store dining intension. Conclusions: This study has expanded the range of consumer behavioral intentions by applying a non-crowded environment (S) to the SOR theory. Also, Consumer behavioral intention was expanded by dividing visit intention into a dine-out and in-store dining intention. Therefore, we propose measures to minimize human crowding by introducing a system such as adjustment of store operating hours, reservation system, store opening time alarm system, and reduction of cooking time.
Three-dimensional (3D) models have become crucial for improving civil infrastructure analysis, and they can be used for various purposes such as damage detection, risk estimation, resolving potential safety issues, alarm detection, and structural health monitoring. 3D point cloud data is used not only to make visual models but also to analyze the states of structures and to monitor them using semantic data. This study proposes automating the generation of high-quality 3D point cloud data and removing noise using deep learning algorithms. In this study, large-format aerial images of civilian infrastructure, such as cut slopes and dams, which were captured by drones, were used to develop a workflow for automatically generating a 3D point cloud model. Through image cropping, downscaling/upscaling, semantic segmentation, generation of segmentation masks, and implementation of region extraction algorithms, the generation of the point cloud was automated. Compared with the method wherein the point cloud model is generated from raw images, our method could effectively improve the quality of the model, remove noise, and reduce the processing time. The results showed that the size of the 3D point cloud model created using the proposed method was significantly reduced; the number of points was reduced by 20-50%, and distant points were recognized as noise. This method can be applied to the automatic generation of high-quality 3D point cloud models of civil infrastructures using aerial imagery.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the single-person household's demand for a wearable healthcare system that provides the ischemic heart disease and cardiopulmonary alarm to be developed. In this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with six unmarried individuals in their thirties who were in the workplace and the results were interpreted by Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method. The study results indicated that although the wearable healthcare system was implemented with high-technology functions that serve the intended purpose, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as aesthetics, comfort, and ease of washing. In this study, we found that the variables influencing the interviewees' intent to accept healthcare services are complex and cannot be attributed to one factor alone; this study has also shown a variety of interpersonal correlations. In addition, although health-care research focusing on the elderly has been conducted in the past, it is suggested that younger generations such as those in their thirties can also be studied as health care service adopters.

Recently, many studies on vital sign detection using a radar sensor related to Internet of Things(IoT) smart home systems have been conducted. Because vital signs such as respiration and cardiac rates generally cause micro-motions in the chest or back, the phase of the received echo signal from a target fluctuates according to the micro-motion. Therefore, vital signs are usually detected via spectral analysis of the phase. However, the probability of false alarms in cardiac rate detection increases as a result of various problems in the measurement environment, such as very weak phase fluctuations caused by the cardiac rate. Therefore, this study analyzes the difficulties of vital sign detection and proposes an efficient vital sign detection algorithm consisting of four main stages: 1) phase decomposition, 2) phase differentiation and filtering, 3) vital sign detection, and 4) reduction of the probability of false alarm. Experimental results using impulse-radio ultra-wideband radar show that the proposed algorithm is very efficient in terms of computation and accuracy.

In this paper, a distributed evacuation system based on the positioning information of subway passengers is proposed. Recently, the subway station is becoming complicated by combining with shopping malls, and movie theaters. Compared to the increasing complexity of subway stations, evacuation systems are less complex. Subway passengers in each cell were estimated to use the access point in the subway cells and statistics information. The evacuation route is provided through a direction indicator and push alarm of a smart phone based on estimated the number of passengers and exit information of the subway station. Based on this schemes, a quick and safe evacuation system of subway passengers was proposed. The number of connection passengers was estimated using AP with OpenWrt embedded OS installed. The average error rate of the number of passenger was confirmed to be 15%, 17%
and 23% at the confidence parameter of $1{\sigma}$, $2{\sigma}$, and $3{\sigma}$, respectively, through a simulation. The possibility of the system through a simple experiment was examined.
Purpose: Recently, structural defects in old safety management facilities have led to the collapse of buildings and facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop guidelines for the installation of regular monitoring systems that determine the optimal sensor location for monitoring exhibition space building sensors equipped with visual elements in order to analyze the risk signs of exhibition space buildings and develop measurement technology. Method: The components, installation locations, alarm criteria, and management measures of the instrument are presented. Result: A measure was proposed to determine the location of sensors, secure signal processing technology for analysis by having unified visual perception, and configure optimal 'risk sign detection' based on sensor monitoring through test-bed operation. Conclusion: The results of this study can be prepared against the disasters that may arise from the collapse of exhibition buildings, and contribute to strengthening safety management capabilities.
Today Human Personal Trainers are becoming very famous in this health conscious world. They teach user to achieve fitness goals in managed way. Due to their high fee and tight schedule they are unavailable to mass number of people. Another solution to this problem is to develop digital personal trainer portable instrument that may replace human personal trainers. We developed a portable digital exercise trainer device - BIOFIT that manages, monitors and records the user's physical status and workout during exercise session. It guides the user to exercise efficiently for specific fitness goal. It keeps the full exercise program i.e. exercises start date and time, duration, mode, control parameter, intensity in its memory which helps the user in managing his exercise. Exercise program can be downloaded from the internet. During exercise it continuously monitors the user's physiological parameters: heart rate, number of steps walked, and energy consumed. If these parameters do not range within prescribed target zone, the BIOFIT will alarm the user as a feedback to control exercise. The BIOFIT displays these parameters on graphic LCD. During exercise it continuously records the heart rate and number of steps walked every 10 seconds along with exercise date and time. This stored information can be used as treatment for the user by an exercise expert. Real-time ECG monitoring can be viewed wirelessly (RF Communication) on a remote PC.

Therefore, it was agreed that an earthquake monitoring station should be set up within the site of Handong University by analyzing drilling data and Disaster such as earthquakes is urgently needed to prepare for earthquakes in that people's lives and national development depend on the nation's ability to manage disasters. Many experts say that the Korean Peninsula is also under the influence of earthquakes and is not a safe zone for earthquakes. A seismological observatory will be established in Pohang to monitor ground sensors and study seismic characteristics through the task of "Development of Smart Sensor-based Intelligent Information Platform in Earthquake Region." Therefore, it was agreed to set up a seismological observatory within the site of Handong University by analyzing drilling data and conducting on-site surveys in northern Pohang, which were heavily damaged by liquefaction and earthquakes. In this study, it was decided to make a comprehensive judgment by considering the geological characteristics of the site, whether it can perform functions, and the convenience of construction and maintenance for the final site of the seismological observatory discussed with Handong University. After completing a feasibility review on selecting a site for Handong University, we will establish a seismological observatory and actively utilize it for seismic research using data from alarm issuance and seismic data in the event of a future earthquake.

In this paper, we propose a prototype design and implementation of a fire detection algorithm using multiple sensors. The proposed topic detection system determines fire by applying rules based on data from multiple sensors. The fire takes about 3 to 5 minutes, which is the optimal time for fire detection. This means that timely identification of potential fires is important for fire management. However, current fire detection devices are very vulnerable to false alarms because they rely on a single sensor to detect smoke or heat. Recently, with the development of IoT technology, it is possible to integrate multiple sensors into a fire detector. In addition, the fire detector has been developed with a smart technology that can communicate with other objects and perform programmed tasks. The prototype was produced with a success rate of 90% and a false alarm rate of 10% based on 10 actual experiments.

Bicycle accidents increase as the number of people riding bicycles increases following the trend try to enhance health and looking for alternative energy sources in the era of high oil price. In bicycle accident cases, physical risk is higher because the impact of the accident has a direct effect on the body of the rider. Therefore, the bicycle rider in an accident might unable to report the accident by themselves, thus, unable to quickly respond to the accident situation. This study developed a system for informing bicycle accidents upon bicycle accident by reporting and texting the accident location using a smart phone application after identifying the accident location using a GPS equipment based on the signal that senses the accident through the system installed in the bicycle for the purpose to improve bicycle riders' safety. This study confirmed the effectiveness of the system developed to quickly respond to the accident to prevent secondary damage through an experiment.
