  • Nowadays, smart phone is being popularly used for communication, entertainment, and information retrieval. While demands on video traffic over mobile networks increases sharply, the wireless link capacity is often limited to fully support the traffic demand. Therefore, the size of video data needs to be reduced to provide high quality video with limited capacity. To handle this issue, we propose a video editing system using the ffmpeg library. The proposed system can provide a high quality video with a relatively small data size, thereby facilitating the mobile streaming services and live-video games.

  • Today the influence of digital video media grows bigger due to the development of information and telecommunication gradually and most of juveniles spend a number of image contents with their smart phones and computers. And they not only consume such image contents but also upload the videos they make at YouTube or Vimeo by recording and editing them by themselves. As we learned from such phenomenon, the education of media that uses and expresses the video in various environment such as making, reading and expressing video media is very important. The education of using the advance digital device and software of producing image contents is essential as current education of media cannot be discussed without that. This study treats the education of media based on the view point of education on image contents production. It discusses the education method that we can learn from the process of image contents production based on Non-Linear Editing System.

  • The 3D animation these days is confronted with a situation that should develop new contents fit for those circumstances of media in which new platforms such as smart phones, tablet PCs, and smart TVs, etc. are in a rapid change and establish media strategies. Attempts are made of developing methods to diversify content type coping with new smart media characteristics including smart phones, tablet PCs, and smart TVs, etc., with materials of the same story and character, and developing animation video contents based on new media technology. This study made avatas utilizing iClone, avata 3D production technology and investigated 3D animation production methods through costume editing and motion editing.

  • Because of development of information technology, moving picture can run various platforms. We should consider and apply users' attitude as well as production technique because convergence between mobile and media technology may be increased full-browsing service using mobile device. Previous research related to production technique in various platforms only focus on video quality and adjustment of screen size. However, besides of technical side, production techniques should be changed such as image production as well as image editing by point of view aesthetic. Mise-en-scene such as camera angle, composition, and lighting is changed due to HD image. Also image production should be changed to a suitable full-browsing service using mobile device. Therefore, we would explore a new suitable production techniques and image editing for smart phone. To propose production techniques for smart phone, we used E-learning production system, which are transition, editing technique for suitable converting system. Such as new attempts are leading to new paradigm and establishing their position by applying characteries such as openness, timeliness to mobile. Also it can be extended individual area and established as expression and play tool.

  • 인터넷 환경의 변화에 따라 텍스트 기반의 정보 전달에서 멀티미디어 기반의 스트리밍 방식으로 바뀌어가고 있다. 또한 대용량의 동영상 데이터뿐 아니라 Shorts, Clip Reels 또는 등 다양한 방식의 동영상 형태로 배포되고 있으며 서비스 플랫폼에서는 손쉽게 편집할 수 있도록 기능을 제공하고 있다. 대용량 콘텐츠, TV, Youtue 콘텐츠를 포함하여 소용량 동영상 편집에 필요한 영상 제작 기술에서 가장 인력과 시간이 많이 소요되는 부분은 편집 단계로 딥러닝 기반 인공지능 기술을 활용하여 자동화하고 있으며 영상편집에서 가장 기본이 되는 단위인 씬검출 기법을 개발하였다. 키프레임 검출 기법과 유사도 기법을 이용하여 씬을 추출하였으며 블록 Cost Function을 이용하여 최적화하여 0.5214의 정확도를 도출하였다.

  • The various information services can be delivered by smartphone through advanced high-speed mobile communication. A smartphone is a mobile device that offers more powerful computing capacity than feature phone. Therefore this device can provide such as web surfing, editing documents, playing video, and playing games. A lot of personal information stored on smartphone. Because it has High usability. Personal information Leaks if the smart phone is lost or stolen may become a big problem. In this paper we have analyzed existing method for providing secure storage and user authentication on mobile platform and derived security requirement. Therefore we propose the following scheme that satisfy security requirement. Proposed scheme providing secure storage with preventing authentication bypass, and availability from damaged data to access secure area.

  • As the use of smart devices is being increased rapidly by the development of internet and IT technology, the contents production and utilization rate are showing higher increase, too. In addition, the type of contents also shows very diverse forms such as education, game, video, UCC, etc. In the meantime, the contents are reproduced in diverse forms by reprocessing the original contents, and they are being serviced through the contents service platform. Therefore, the platform to make the contents reprocessing easy and fast is needed. As the diverse contents distribution channels such as YouTube, SNS, App Service, etc, easier contents distribution platform is needed, and the development of the relevant area is expected. In addition, as the selective consumption of the contents having easy accessibility through diverse smart devices is distinguished, the demand for the platform and service that can identify the contents consumption propensity by individual is being increased. Therefore, in this study, to vitalize the online contents distribution, the contents reproduction and publishing platform, was designed and materialized, which can reproduce and distribute the contents based on the real-time contents editing technology in URL unit and the consumer propensity analysis technology using the data management-based broadcasting contents distribution metadata technology and the edited image contents streaming technology. In addition, in the results of comparing with other platforms through the experiment, the performance superiority of the suggested platform was verified. If the suggested platform is applied to the areas of education, broadcasting, press, etc, the multi-media contents can be reproduced and distributed easily, through which the vitalization of contents-related industry is expected.

Composition of Foreground and Background Images using Optical Flow and Weighted Border Blending (옵티컬 플로우와 가중치 경계 블렌딩을 이용한 전경 및 배경 이미지의 합성)

  • We propose a method to compose a foreground object into a background image, where the foreground object is a part (or a region) of an image taken by a front-facing camera and the background image is a whole image taken by a back-facing camera in a smart phone at the same time. Recent high-end cell-phones have two cameras and provide users with preview video before taking photos. We extract the foreground object that is moving along with the front-facing camera using the optical flow during the preview. We compose the extracted foreground object into a background image using a simple image composition technique. For better-looking result in the composed image, we apply a border smoothing technique using a weighted-border mask to blend transparency from background to foreground. Since constructing and grouping pixel-level dense optical flow are quite slow even in high-end cell-phones, we compute a mask to extract the foreground object in low-resolution image, which reduces the computational cost greatly. Experimental result shows the effectiveness of our extraction and composition techniques, with much less computational time in extracting the foreground object and better composition quality compared with Poisson image editing technique which is widely used in image composition. The proposed method can improve limitedly the color bleeding artifacts observed in Poisson image editing using weighted-border blending.

Implementation of Radiotherapy Educational Contents Using Virtual Reality (가상현실 기술을 활용한 방사선치료 교육 콘텐츠 제작 구현)

  • The development of smart devices has brought about significant changes in daily life and one of the most significant changes is the virtual reality zone. Virtual reality is a technology that creates the illusion that a 3D high-resolution image has already been created using a display device just like it does in itself. Unrealized subjects are forced to rely on audiovisual materials, resulting in a decline in the concentration of practices and the quality of classes. It used virtual reality to develop effective teaching materials for radiology students. In order to produce a video clip bridge using virtual reality, a radiology clinic was selected to conduct two exposures from July to September 2017. The video was produced taking into account the radiology and work flow chart and filming was carried out in two separate locations : in the computerized tomography unit and in the LINAC room. Prior to filming the scenario and the filming route were checked in advance to facilitate editing of the video. Modeling and mapping was performed in a PC environment using the Window XP operating system. Using two leading virtual reality camera Gopro Hero, CC pixels were produced using a 4K UHD, Adobe, followed by an 8 megapixel resolution of $3,840{\times}2,160/4,096{\times}2,160$. Total regeneration time was performed in about 5 minutes during the production of using virtual reality to prevent vomiting and dizziness. Currently developed virtual reality radiation and educational contents are being used to secure the market and extend the promotion process to be used by various institutions. The researchers will investigate the satisfaction level of radiation and educational contents using virtual reality and carry out supplementary tasks depending on the results.
