As rate in an elderly population and expanding their range of activity rapidly increase, the demographics of the elderly population on a use of transportation also rise. Elderly pedestrians often find it difficult to react promptly to the traffic accidents as they are less perceptive of the dangers present under the situation. More than half of the elderly traffic accidents are elderly pedestrian accidents in road. Therefore, we design and implement smart safety hat for safety of elderly pedestrian. The smart safety hat binds stripe-shaped LED around a hat in order for a driver to perceive pedestrian easy and quickly. Features of smart safety hat include controlling the number of LEDs by using a light sensor and warning through vibration using a sound sensor. Also, we used Bluetooth to communicate with the smartphone to enable user customization of the light and numbers of LEDs.

The concern about Smart Factory has increased according to the 4th revolution. The number of security threats targeting Smart Factory devices has increased over the last years and it is possible to cause the vulnerability of security about industry secret data. In this paper, we devide security requirements into four and analyze security vulnerability of Smart Factory devices and describe the attack type newly happened.

The new metro crossing the existing metro will cause the settlement or floating of the existing structures, which will have safety problems for the operation of the existing metro and the construction of the new metro. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor and predict the settlement of the existing metro caused by the construction of the new metro in real time. Considering the complexity and uncertainty of metro settlement, a Gaussian Prior Bayesian Emulator (GPBE) probability prediction model based on Bayesian optimization (BO) is proposed, that is, BO-GPBE. Firstly, the settlement monitoring data are analyzed to get the influence of the new metro on the settlement of the existing metro. Then, five different acquisition functions, that is, expected improvement (EI), expected improvement per second (EIPS), expected improvement per second plus (EIPSP), lower confidence bound (LCB), probability of improvement (PI) are selected to construct BO model, and then BO-GPBE model is established. Finally, three years settlement monitoring data were collected by structural health monitoring (SHM) system installed on Nanjing Metro Line 10 are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of BO-GPBE for forecasting the settlement.
This study is to investigate, using AHP, what technologies should be applied first to Korean SMEs in order to respond to the 4th industrial revolution and change to a smart enterprise. To this end, technologies related to the 4th industrial revolution and smart factory are synthesized, and the classification criteria of Dae-Hoon Kim et al. (2019) are applied, but additional opinions of experts are collected and related technologies are converted to artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Cloud Computing. As a base technology, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), block chain as hyper-connected technology, unmanned transportation (autonomous driving), robot, 3D printing, drone as a convergence technology, smart manufacturing and logistics, smart healthcare, smart transportation and smart finance were classified as smart industrial technologies. As a result of confirming the priorities for technical use by AHP analysis and calculating the total weight, manufacturing companies have a high ranking in mobile, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and robots, while service companies are in big data and robots, artificial intelligence (AI), and smart healthcare are ranked high, and in all companies, it is in the order of big data, artificial intelligence (AI), robot, and mobile. Through this study, it was clearly identified which technologies should be applied first in order to respond to the 4th industrial revolution and change to a smart company.
TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) is one of the urban structure concentrated on the multifunctional space/district with public transportation system, which is introduced for maintaining sustainable future cities. With such trends, the project of building complex transferring centers located at a urban railway station has widely been spreaded and a comprehensive and systematic analytical framework is required to clarify and readily understand the complicated procedure of estimation with the large scale of the project. By doing so, this study is to develop a comprehensive analytical framework for estimating a pedestrian OD matrix using a spatial information and an integrated smart card data, which is so called a data depository and it has been applied to the Samseong station for the model validation. The proposed analytical framework contributes on providing a chance to possibly extend with digitalized and automated data collection technologies and a BigData mining methods.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, propelled by digital technology, we are transitioning into an era of hyperconnectivity, where everything and objects are becoming interconnected. A smart supply chain refers to a supply chain system where various sensors and RFID tags are attached to objects such as machinery and products used in the manufacturing and transportation of goods. These sensors and tags collect and analyze process data related to the products, providing meaningful information for operational use and decision-making in the supply chain. Before the spread of COVID-19, the fundamental principles of supply chain management were centered around 'cost minimization' and 'high efficiency.' A smart supply chain overcomes the linear delayed action-reaction processes of traditional supply chains by adopting real-time data for better decision-making based on information, providing greater transparency, and enabling enhanced collaboration across the entire supply chain. Therefore, in this study, a hierarchical model for building a smart supply chain was constructed to systematically derive the importance of key factors that should be strategically considered in the construction of a smart supply chain, based on the major factors identified in previous research. We applied AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) techniques to identify urgent improvement areas in smart SCM initiatives. The analysis results showed that the external supply chain integration is the most urgent area to be improved in smart SCM initiatives.

This paper illustrates an analytical investigation of the vibration parameters of buildings on sliding seismic isolation bearings with elastic limiters of the relative displacement. The installation scheme of sliding bearings and elastic limiters for the separate unit of a 4 storey hospital building with brick walls is designed. The analysis of the vibrations of the hospital building is conducted for harmonic base excitation.
To meet the urgent requirements of safety surveillance from civil engineering management authorities, this study proposes a refined and efficient approach to generate full-field high-resolution panorama of construction sites using camera-amounted UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). GPS (Global Position System) information extraction for pre-registration, feature points filtering for efficient registration and optimal seaming line seeking for fusion are performed in sequence to form the full-field panorama generation framework. Advantages of the proposed method are as follows. First, GPS information can sort images for pre-registration, avoiding inefficient repeated pairwise calculations and matching. Second, the feature points are filtered according to the characteristics of the construction site images to reduce the amount of calculation. The proposed framework is validated on a road construction site and results demonstrate that it can generate an accurate and high-quality full-site panorama for the safety supervision in a much efficient manner.

Vehicle location detection and wireless communication method have be designed along the same lines as GPS, CDMA and WLAN, which is based upon the selecting factors such as state-of-art technology trend, accuracy, stability, and economic feasibility, in order to select the optimum method of information communication networks for integrated "Transportation-Power-Facilities" on the electric bus. In addition, the key features of each alternative for an efficient linkage have been review and the integration methodology for linking among Transportation Charging Center, Transportation(ITS, BIS) Center and smart Grid Center has been drawn up based on a technical level of difficulty of each alternative, political and administrative difficulties, and expense justification.
