The purpose of this study is to investigate how the variables of parenting styles and dependency on the smart phone affect college students' satisfaction to campus life, to seek the better ways for the college students to fit into the new environment, and to offer the practical tips based on our findings. In this study, we applied the regression analysis to verify the relationship among the variables related to the satisfaction to university life and the mediating effect of dependency on the smart phone. The results of this study suggest that the positive rearing attitude, which is the subfactor of parenting styles, has a negative effect on the dependency on the smart phone, and that dependency on the smart phone has a negative effect on the satisfaction to college life. At the same time it is found out that the negative rearing attitude has a positive effect on dependency on the smart phone, and that dependency on the smart phone has a negative effect on the satisfaction to the college life. In addition, the dependency on the smart phone has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the positive/negative rearing attitudes and dependency on the smart phone. Based on these findings, we recommended the better ways to improve college students' satisfaction to their college lives.

This study aims to identify the relationship between adolescents' smart phone dependency, parenting method and aggression, and further to validate the mediating effect of parenting style between adolescents' smart phone dependency and aggression. First, adolescents' smart phone dependency has shown to have positive and negative relationships with the parenting style and aggression. Second, adolescents' smart phone dependency negatively affected their aggression through the positive parenting style, while it had a positive impact on their aggression through the negative parenting style. That is, the results demonstrated that adolescents' smart phone dependency increased their aggression, but at that time the positive parenting style such as warmth, support of autonomy, and provision of aid decreased their aggression as a mediator, whereas the negative parenting style such as refusal, compulsion, and inconsistency increased their aggression.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the experiences of neglect on adolescent smart phone dependency, exploring the pathways through self-resilience and alienation. Methods: This study utilized the 7th wave data from the Korean Child Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS), and the sample included 1,805 participants with no missing data. The data was analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. Results: First, the experiences of neglect directly affected adolescent smart phone dependency. Second, the experiences of neglect indirectly affect smart phone dependency partially mediated by self resilience and alienation. Conclusions: The ways to prevent adolescent smart phone dependency were discussed.

This study attempts to verify the relational structure of adolescent's emotional problems, smart phone dependency and school life adjustment from a perspective of Glasser (1998)'s choice theory. For this purpose, this study utilized the second year data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey Data. From the results of the analysis, the most influential variable affecting adolescent's school life adjustment was found to be the sense of community, and adolescent's emotional problems were found to have a effect upon school life adjustment and smart phone dependency based on the choice theory. This study discussed issues of cultivating the sense of community to improve adolescent's school life adjustment, and developing counseling program and reinforcing the counseling personnel with improvement of contingent employment to alleviate smart phone dependency and emotional problems.

The purpose of the present study was to estimate the effect of adolescents' depression on cell phone dependency and to identify mediating effects of parenting style and peer isolation. The study used data from the $6^{th}$ waves of 2015 KCYPS(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey). Structural Equation Model(SEM) was conducted to examine the mediating effects of parenting style and peer isolation. The results showed that adolescents' depression had positive effects on cell phone dependency. In addition, the relationship between adolescents' depression and cell phone dependency was partially mediated by parenting style, not mediated by peer relationships. Based on these findings, further suggestions are provided to reduce adolescents' cell phone dependency by decreasing parent's over-involvement and improve adolescents' self control opportunities.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of peer attachment on life satisfaction of adolescents and to verify the mediating effects of career identity and smart-phone dependency in the process. For this purpose, the data from the sixth year Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey(2015) on 1,823 middle school students were analyzed by hierarchical regression analysis and path analysis among variables. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, peer attachment of adolescents had a significantly positive effect on their life satisfaction. Second, adolescents' career identity had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between peer attachment and life satisfaction. Third, the effect of peer attachment on life satisfaction of adolescents was partly mediated by their smart-phone dependency. On the basis of above findings, the practical programs to enhance career-identity and life satisfaction and reduce smart-phone dependency were presented.

This study identifies the factors that influence juvenile delinquency, which has increased both offline and online. It is hypothesized that the influence of negative parenting on online and offline juvenile delinquency is mediated through smartphone dependency and personal emotional problems. In addition, the study hypothesizes that participation in cultural activities soothes the influence. Using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 20.0 programs, we conducted a confirmatory factor analysis, a multi-mediation analysis, and a cross-group comparative analysis. The analyses found the significant mediation effect of smart phone dependence and personal emotional problems on the relationship between negative parenting and juvenile delinquiency. Participation in cultural activities overall weakens the hypothesized effects.

This study tries to examine the effect of positive and negative parents' attitudes on adolescents' smartphone dependency, and prove the meditating effect of poor attachment between the two variables in the times of convergence. For the study, the data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey were analyzed by utilizing the path analysis, the data from 1,971. The results are as follows: First, positive and negative parents' attitudes influenced adolescents' poor attachment. Second, positive and negative parents' attitudes had a effect on adolescents' smartphone dependency. Third, parents' attttudes directly influenced adolescents' smart phone dependency and its' effect was indirectly mediated by the subjects's poor attachment.

Most of music-transcription systems that have been commercialized operate based on audio information. However, these conventional systems have disadvantages of environmental dependency, equipment dependency, and time latency. This paper studied a vision-based music-transcription system that utilizes video information rather than audio information, which is a traditional method of music-transcription programs. Computer vision technology is widely used as a field for analyzing and applying information from equipment such as cameras. In this paper, we created a program to generate MIDI file which is electronic music notes by using smart-phone cameras to record the play of piano.

In modern people, smartphone is used in many fields of life styles in world wide. Its convenience and function are improved. Appropriate sleeping is essential to modern people. The overuse of smartphone threats sleeping of modern people. Result of this study shows that the deeper the addiction with smart phones the lower the quality of sleep, especially in troubles staying awake. The quality of sleep also associated with general factors including spending money, type of housing and degree of stress. There is a correlation between smart phone dependency and the quality of sleep and the more severe the dependency the more likely that the quality of sleep might fall. So we need adequate education to use smartphone for saving sleeping of modern people.
