  • In the rapid industrialization and civilization, the material and the life have been enriched, but smart phone and the Internet are spreading and the spirit of Korean modern people is falling into addiction without knowing themselves. In particular, according to the recent Internet addiction reported by the National Statistical Office, "the Internet addiction rate in 2014 is the highest among adolescents to 19 years old." This study empirically analyzed whether internet addiction, smart phone addiction, sports activities and reading affect adolescents' emotional intelligence and self-esteem. Regression analysis showed that internet addiction, smart phone addiction and sports activities affected emotional intelligence and reading did not affect. Also, internet addiction, smart phone addiction and sports activities were found to affect self-esteem and reading did not affect. Reading and emotional intelligence, reading and self-esteem seem to require further study in the future.

  • This paper proposes a method of a touch-based remote control and sensor information acquisition of a mobile robot using a smart phone. An application in a smart phone processes the acquired sensor information and conducts autonomous navigation. By touching the screen of the smart phone, a series of points obtained from designated curve traces are analyzed and provide control of a robot. This study develops a mobile application that acquires and handles data from a mobile robot and sends appropriate action commands through remote control using Bluetooth communication with a smart phone. The utility and performance of the proposed control scheme have been successfully verified through experimental tasks using an actual smart phone and a mobile robot.

  • In this paper, we propose a new scheme for enhancing the computational SLAM overhead of intelligent robots. The idea is to use the idle resource of Smart Phone as a SLAM processor. We designed a new model for incorporating the smart phone with robot. According to the experimental results, we found that the smart phone was very helpful for improving the SLAM performance and the gain from the smart phone was increased as robot moves faster.

  • Unlike using smart-phone for music, game, information searching, shopping, using smart-phone for tasks may be forced in the task environment. Therefore, attitude, usefulness, and easy of use of technology on information technology adoption mode can not fully explain using smart phone for tasks. To explain using smart phone for tasks, this paper is based on the theory of task and technology fit(TTF) that TTF influences the usage performance of technology.

  • A 5.8-GHz 1W wireless power transmission system was used for charging a smart phone. The voltage of one RF power receiver with antenna was not enough for charging. Several power receivers for charging a smart phone was connected serially. The voltage of several RF power receivers are highly enough for charging a smart phone within 50cm. However, the lack of current from small capacitances of RF-DC converters is not suitable for charging smart phone. It means very long charging time. In this paper, the voltage multiplier circuits for RF-DC converters were analyzed to increase the current and voltage at the same time to reduce the charging time in smartphone RF wireless charging. Through the analysis of multiplier circuits, the 7-stage parallel multiplier circuit with voltage-doubler units are suitable for charging the smartphone, which supplies 5V and 700mA at 3V@5.8GHz.

  • We development the service that teacher and parent can control the smart phone of student in school and home, the name is I_smart_keeper. The service is composed of server system, teacher's application, parent's application and student's application. The control of student's phone in school is operated by school timetable and GPS(Global Positioning System) in smart phone. The student's phone is operating one of six policy. The six policy is 'emergency call only', 'specific application only', 'call only', 'call and text only', 'all allowed' and 'all lock'. The teacher can change the current policy with his or her phone, That is a the temporary policy can be applied on a day. In school hours, teacher is able to instruct student using application appropriate to the teaching. If student is leaving school early and located outside school, the service do free the student's phone by GPS of her or his phone. We show the Smart Health Indicator (SHI)that analyse the pattern of student's phone habit and SHI will guide a desirable student's phone habit. In home, parent can control child's phone. The service will help the risk reduction of a robbery case due to keeping student's phone by teacher in class. Currently one elementary school's all student use I_smart_keeper and three elementary school is testing to some class. The teacher's impression was very good and they usually use I_smart_keeper for class in positive light. Survey results for students with higher satisfaction.

  • The aim of this study is to inquire into the influential relationship between perceived characteristics and psychological attitude toward smart phone in relation with the smart phone. This study conducted a questionnaire survey targeting domestic college students who are using the smart phone in an effort for an empirical test of the research model. The theoretical implications of this study laid foundation for doing research on the behavior of perceived characteristics and psychological attitude toward technology, and supplied a clue to diverse, in-depth research works on the further smart phone. The study-suggested practical implications are as follows: First, it is required that the usefulness and easy of use of the smart phone should be reinforced in order to form a positive attitude toward the smart phone. Second, the sense of dependence on the smart phone has an influence on user satisfaction.

  • In this paper, optical transport network in real time monitoring system using smart phone. The existing housing using monitoring was a smart phone of optical transport network access switch about an event with new installation of cognitive system in real time. This paper can this problem to be solved of the invention in real time maintenance using smart phone application and optical cable closure switch. If you want to find optical cable closure fault location, this smart phone web is very useful. Cable tie is isolation of fiber spare board from fiber switch tie occur push message. Housing and access, and an external failures otdr the measurement of the global positioning to be able to easily using the This paper can find event of optical cable closure unauthorized work and fault using smart phone OTDR function. the optical cable fault time reduction and network transport quality by managing real time optical cable section by using the smart phone can be maintained efficiently.
