This study proposes an automated assembly performance evaluation method for prefabricated steel structures (PSSs) using machine learning methods. Assembly component images were segmented using a modified version of the receptive field pyramid. By factorizing channel modulation and the receptive field exploration layers of the convolution pyramid, highly accurate segmentation results were obtained. After completing segmentation, the positions of the bolt holes were calculated using various image processing techniques, such as fuzzy-based edge detection, Hough's line detection, and image perspective transformation. By calculating the distance ratio between bolt holes, the assembly performance of the PSS was estimated using the k-nearest neighbors (kNN) algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed framework was validated using a 3D PSS printing model and a field test. The results indicated that this approach could recognize assembly components with an intersection over union (IoU) of 95% and evaluate assembly performance with an error of less than 5%.

현재의 스마트폰 기반의 모바일 애플리케이션은 기본적인 전화, 문자와 같은 기능들 외 네비게이션과 같은 유용하고 편리한 기능들이 사용되고 있다. 이러한 애플리케이션에는 사용자와 관련된 많은 개인 정보들이 포함되어있고, 저장된 개인 정보는 사건 발생 시 사건의 직접적인 증거 혹은 간접적은 증거로 활용될 수 있다. 스마트폰에 저장된 증거를 수집하고 분석할 때 조사관들이 사용할 수 있는 기존의 도구는 복잡한 사용방법을 숙지해야 하고, 인증된 소프트웨어가 설치되어 있는 컴퓨터에서 국한되어 분석이 가능했다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 웹 서비스 개념의 스마트폰 포렌식 프레임워크를 제시한다.

개방형 플랫폼기술과 클라우드 컴퓨팅기술을 통합하여 스마트주거단지를 위한 클라우드 기반의 개방형 체계에 대한 개념을 제시하고자 한다. 스마트 단지관리의 가장 핵심이 되는 모듈인 단지 관리 플랫폼은 통합정보 계층, 통합운영 계층, 공통기능 계층 및 외부연계 계층 등으로 구성되어 있다. 각 계층에서 수행되어지는 운영 특성을 기반으로 표준화된 플팻폼에서 서비스를 개발할 수 있도록 함은 물론 스마트주거단지 관련 서비스, 플랫폼, 인프라를 유틸리티처럼 제공하는 클라우드기반의 서비스제공자를 육성함과 아울러 스마트주거 서비스 시장 확대 및 산업활성화에 기여하고자 한다.

In this paper, a hybrid vibration-impedance-based damage monitoring approach is experimentally evaluated for prestressed concrete (PSC) structures with local strand breakage. Firstly, the hybrid monitoring scheme is designed to alert damage occurrence from changes in vibration characteristics and to localize strand breakage from changes in impedance signatures. Secondly, a full-scale PSC anchorage is experimented to measure global vibration responses and local impedance responses under a sequence of simulated strand-breakage events. Finally, the measured data are analyzed using the hybrid monitoring framework. The change of structural condition (i.e., damage extent) induced by the local strand breakage is estimated by changes in a few natural frequencies obtained from a few accelerometers in the structure. The damaged strand is locally identified by tomography analysis of impedance features measured via an array of PZT (lead-zirconate-titanate) sensors mounted on the anchorage. Experimental results demonstrate that the strand breakage in the PSC structure can be accurately assessed by using the combined vibration and impedance features.

For effectively lowering down the risk of cyber threating, the zero-trust architecture (ZTA) has been gradually deployed to the fields of smart city, Internet of Things, and cloud computing. The main concept of ZTA is to maintain a distrustful attitude towards all devices, identities, and communication requests, which only offering the minimum access and validity. Unfortunately, adopting the most secure and complex multifactor authentication has brought enterprise and employee a troublesome and unfriendly burden. Thus, authors aim to incorporate machine learning technology to build an employee behavior analysis ZTA. The new framework is characterized by the ability of adjusting the difficulty of identity verification through the user behavioral patterns and the risk degree of the resource. In particular, three key factors, including one-time password, face feature, and authorization code, have been applied to design the adaptive multifactor continuous authentication system. Simulations have demonstrated that the new work can eliminate the necessity of maintaining a heavy authentication and ensure an employee-friendly experience.

This study attempts to examine the importance of social capital in customer service organizations and clarifies how translates into organizational performance through knowledge management activities. A survey was conducted with the customer service employees, and 256 questionnaires were used for an empirical analysis with smart partial least squares (PLS). The analysis found that relational capital had a positive effect on both the knowledge management components of knowledge sharing and knowledge conversion, while structural capital significantly influenced knowledge sharing. In addition, human capital positively affected knowledge conversion. Both knowledge sharing and knowledge conversion significantly influenced organizational performance. This study proposed a conceptual framework of social capital that influences organizational performance mediated by an organization's knowledge management activities. Based on the results, we suggest practical guidelines for managing social capital and recommend areas of improvement for customer organization's managers and employees.

With the globalization of the film industry, ethnic minority films have been developed and studied by many scholars for their special ethnic representation. The film "Tharlo" directed by Pema Tseden carefully explores the identity anxiety of a Tibetan shepherd. Through the connection and separation between the protagonist and traditional culture, it shows a complexity of modern ethnic identity for minority people. This study explores what kind of cinematic techniques and symbolic elements the director uses to shape ordinary characters, build a narrative space, and show ethnic representation. This paper puts forward a theoretical framework combining cinematic quantitative methods with qualitative narrative and semiotic analysis, aiming to deepen our understanding of cinematic techniques and ethnic representation, and provides a new perspective and profound insights for discussing the complexity faced by ethnic minorities in contemporary films. This study finds that Tseden's "Tharlo" successfully portrays the complex transformation of Tibetan cultural identity in the context of globalization and modernization through cinematic techniques such as fixed camera positions, long take and black-and-white cinematography, combined with the use of symbolic elements like mirrors, lambs and identity cards.

The paper investigates how the semiconductor and electric vehicle industries are addressing safety and security concerns in the era of autonomous driving, emphasizing the prioritization of safety over security for market competitiveness. Collaboration between these sectors is deemed essential for maintaining competitiveness and value. The research suggests solutions such as advanced autonomous driving technologies and enhanced battery safety measures, with the integration of AI chips playing a pivotal role. However, challenges persist, including the limitations of big data and potential errors in semiconductor-related issues. Legacy automotive manufacturers are transitioning towards software-driven cars, leveraging artificial intelligence to mitigate risks associated with safety and security. Conflicting safety expectations and security concerns can lead to accidents, underscoring the continuous need for safety improvements. We analyzed the expansion of electric vehicles as a means to enhance safety within a framework of converging security concerns, with AI chips being instrumental in this process. Ultimately, the paper advocates for informed safety and security decisions to drive technological advancements in electric vehicles, ensuring significant strides in safety innovation.

Trust is essential for tax compliance. Various tax management issues might diminish taxpayer trust. As a result, as a measure of transparency in the services of the Indonesia's Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), a method for filing various taxpayer complaints is necessary. Whistleblowing is a service given by the DGT that accepts taxpayer issues and complaints. It may be accessed on the DGT's official website. This strategy was intended to increase compliance by instilling trust among taxpayers. This study aims to show how whistleblowing affects tax compliance by utilizing trust as a mediating variable. The study relied on 400 questionnaires issued directly to East Java I DGT Region taxpayers. SEM-PLS with the Smart-PLS tool was utilized for data analysis. According to the study's findings, whistleblowing positively impacts tax compliance, and trust partially mediates the effect of whistleblowing on tax compliance. The outcomes of this study provide empirical proof for the Slippery Slope Framework's contention that building trust is an essential technique for increasing taxpayer compliance.

In this paper, we are interested in how creator economy startups allowing creators to make money from doing that they love. So, we look at European creator economy startups among Web3.0 business model landscape surveyed in 2022, because the US is home of Web2.0 giant platforms like YouTube. Totally seventeen European startups are investigated, and the theoretical logic is the disruptive innovation. We firstly review the survey published in 2022 and utilize the theory of the disruptive innovation to design the research framework including questions with each type of the disruptive innovation. In this paper, we firstly show, Kalao and Gem as NFT ecosystem platforms aim at service convenience. Secondly, Talkbase, Passionfroot, Bildr, Customuse, and Earnr aim at providing creator tools for under-skilled customers. Lastly, when it comes direct monetization with a decentralized business model, CrowdPad, Admix, GOALS, Realm, Dropstar, Pianity, Sonomo, Stage11, Miiji, and ReadyPlayerMe are representative. Despite the relatively small data size, the results are meaningful as they contribute to a more profound comprehension of the Web3.0 business models and offer guidance for future research directions.
