  • In this paper, we propose a methodology to deal with the IOT system gradually as the use of effective systems such as electronic devices, healthcare, smart cars, smart home, remote meter reading and telemedicine closely related to our real life in the IOT system An IOT integrated account solution is needed as a way to address these needs as the demand grows for the need to identify and manage how users access and use the system for what period of time and at what point in time. We propose the communication algorithms for endpoint system, IOT system management rights policy, user information, and how to apply them to IOT system smart car and smart home on each object internet.

  • Recently, automobile industries have developed ADAS, smart cars, connected cars, automated driving systems, which use a variety of sensor systems - ultrasonics, cameras, lidars and radars - and communication systems. It is necessary to examine the electromagnetic immunity of vehicles equipped with those systems. The electromagnetic immunity tests are carried out in an electromagnetic semi anechoic chamber, which is cut off from the outside. It is difficult to create test environments in which the radar sensor systems of vehicles work properly in the test chamber. In this study, test jigs were designed and tested and as a result they are shown to be effective to create test environments for electromagnetic immunity tests of vehicles equipped with radar sensors. We also proposed additional safety standards for immunity tests of vehicles with radar systems that currently do not exist.

  • Recently, the amount of electrical and electronic systems is increasing rapidly with the development of advanced vehicles such as ADAS, smart cars, connected cars, automated driving systems. It is necessary to examine the electromagnetic compatibility of vehicles equipped with those systems. The standards and regulations for examination of electromagnetic compatibility have been established and revised according to newly introduced electrical and electronic systems. They are administered in some different international standard associations such as ISO, CISPR, UN/ECE and are somewhat complex and bulky. In the study, the improvements and changes in them are tracked and analyzed chronologically. Research of the history of them will be helpful for understanding progress and forecasting the direction of development.

  • When we drive a vehicle in an IoT environment, there is a problem in that information of car users is collected without permission. The security measures used in the existing wired network environment cannot solve the security problem of cars running in the Internet of Things environment. Information should only be shared with entities that have been given permission to use it. In this paper, we intend to propose a method to prevent the illegal use of vehicle information. The method we propose is to use attribute-based encryption and dynamic threshold encryption. Real-time processing technology and cooperative technology are required to implement our proposed method. That's why we use fog computing's proxy servers to build smart gateways in cars. Proxy servers can collect information in real time and then process large amounts of computation. The performance of our proposed algorithm and system was verified by simulating it using NS2.

  • Recently, automobile industries have developed ADAS, smart cars, connected cars, automated driving systems, which communicate with outsides of a vehicle not only in uni-directional way but also in bi-directional way. It is necessary to examine the electromagnetic immunity of vehicles equipped with those communication systems. The electromagnetic immunity tests are carried out in an electromagnetic semi anechoic chamber, which is cut off from the outside electromagnetically. In this study, additional test environments were designed and tested and as a result they are shown to be effective to create test environments in an experimental chamber for electromagnetic immunity tests of vehicles equipped with communication systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a highway safety system that comprises a small number of central servers and smart mobile devices. To implement this system, we constructed a central server that collects GPS location information on cars, whose update messages are decreased via the car location estimation algorithm. The in-car mobile devices use the accelerometer sensors to detect hazardous situations; this information is updated to the central server that relays the information to the corresponding endangered cars via location-based unicast using LTE communication. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, we equipped a mobile device app on a real car and conducted real experiments in various environments such as city streets, rural areas, and highway roads. Furthermore, we conducted simulations to evaluate the propagation of danger information. Finally, we conducted simulated experiments to detect car collisions as well as exceptions, such as falling of the mobile device from the cradle.

  • Automobiles are largely divided into passenger cars with less than five passengers and commercial vehicles such as construction machines, trucks, mixers, special lorries, and large buses. Automobile maintenance companies are also divided into passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Because commercial vehicles are the livelihood vehicles of individual carriers engaged in cargo transportation, passenger transportation, and construction, fast and accurate maintenance is important. Access to the expressway is also important because the car is large and uses highways. In addition, the time required for troubleshooting is long, so sufficient space must be secured for parking the vehicle, and ease of entry and exit of the vehicle in the maintenance shop should be fully considered. For this reason, commercial vehicle maintenance companies have higher initial investment costs than car maintenance companies, and it is difficult to supply and maintain maintenance personnel. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully examine and analyze various related factors for successful commercial vehicle maintenance company selection. However, most existing commercial vehicle maintenance companies often choose their location based on the empirical judgment of the founder, the customs and the case, without a clear analysis. In this study, we show how to derive the location selection factors to be considered when establishing professional maintenance company for commercial vehicles and to select the optimal location by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method.

  • Interest in micro cars is growing around the world, and policy support for micro cars has been increasing in Korea. It is important to meet minimum safety standards for the operation of micro cars on roads due to concerns around micro car safety and the limited driving range of micro cars. In this study, visibility experiments that included safety identification of micro cars were conducted to try and prevent a decrease in driver reaction time. Safety identification lights were installed to the rear of a micro car, and the visibility and discomfort of the vehicle were evaluated to determine whether the micro car was safe to drive on an expressway. As a result, the installation effect of Micro car which install safety identification lamp was found when joining the point at an acceleration lane of the grade separation intersection, and that light on/off could be effective when entering an expressway. If the micro car operation plan proposed in this study is applied, the safety of micro cars on expressways can be increased by improving the visibility of micro car.

  • As shopping malls and department stores become larger and larger, the parking lots for customers of the facilities provide broad spaces for massive cars. Though managers of the facilities support parking situation plates or numbers of guides in order to help customers, it requires additional costs for managing parking plates or guides. In this paper, we propose the parking system using smart devices. The proposed system exploits sensors and zigbee modules to collect the data of each parking space and shows the current state of the parking lot to customers with smart devices.
