In this paper, our concern is the artificial neural network-based patten classification, when can resolve the difficulties in the Autoregressive Moving Average(ARMA) model identification problem To effectively classify a time series into an approriate ARMA model, we adopt the Multi-layered Backpropagation Network (MLBPN) as a pattern classifier, and Extended Sample Autocorrelation Function (ESACF) as a feature extractor. To improve the classification power of MLBPN's we suggest an integrated neural network system which consists of an AR Network and many small-sized MA Networks. The output of AR Network which will gives the MA order. A step-by-step training strategy is also suggested so that the learned MLBPN's can effectively ESACF patterns contaminated by the high level of noises. The experiment with the artificially generated test data and real world data showed the promising results. Our approach, combined with a statistical parameter estimation method, will provide a way to the automation of ARMA modeling.
Application service provider(ASP) model is emerging as a new form of application outsourcing. ASP model may be attractive for small companies and even some medium-sized companies because these companies lack appropriate resources and technical expertise to develop and operate their information system. However, studies of ASP model have so far been neglected. Service quality is argued to be a crucial success factor for ASP, but yet there is not an empirically validated instrument for measuring ASP service quality. Therefore, this paper aims to develop and test a model for measuring ASP service quality. In order to accomplish these, SERVQUAL that has developed in marketing area were adapted to the context of this study. The research sample was designed by randomly selecting 300 different companies from the database that listed up the small companies participating in "ASP based e-business project for small enterprises". 240 usable responses were received by interview. The results are that reliability and tangibility impact user performances and satisfaction more than any of the service quality dimensions.
Purpose - From the advanced path of development and current situation, the development of enterprises plays a tremendous role in promoting national economic growth and raising the overall national strength. Therefore, this paper aims at examining the mutual effect between small & medium enterprises and economic growth. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to address the operating mutual effect between the small & medium enterprises and economic growth more clearly, this paper sets Alibaba Group and Hangzhou as an example. Meanwhile, the annual data from 2000 to 2017 will be employed, and an empirical analysis will be performed under the vector error correction model. Results - The findings display that the total revenue of Alibaba Group has a positive effect on economic growth in city of Hangzhou. However, the Granger Causality test implies that there is only a unidirectional causality between total revenue of Alibaba Group and economic growth in Hangzhou. More specifically, 1% increase in total revenue of Alibaba Group can result in 0.272% in economic growth of Hangzhou in the long run. Conclusions - In summary, for the long run, the local governments should promulgate a series of policies to assist the small & medium enterprises like Alibaba Group to improve the local economic growth as seen in the city of Hangzhou.
As the increasing demand for high-quality software, there is huge requiring for quality certification of international standards, industrial functional safety (IEC 61508), automotive (ISO 26262), embedded software guidelines for weapon systems, etc., in the industry. Software companies are very difficult to systematically acquire the quality certification in terms of cost and manpower of Startup, venture small-sized companies. For their companies one test case automatic generation is considered as a core technique to evaluate or improve software quality. This paper proposes a test case automatic generation method based on the design decision table for system and software design verification. We apply the proposed method with OMG's standard techniques of metamodel and model transformation for automatically generating test cases. To do this, we design the metamodels of design decision table (Model) and test case document (Text) and define model transformation to automatically generate test cases, which will expect to easily work MC/DC coverage.
A descriptive study was attempted to identify the factors affecting of nursing organization culture, communication competence, and professionalism on nursing service quality of small and medium-sized hospital nurses. The study were 166 nurses from hospital nurses located in G metropolitan city, and the data collection period was from August 22 to August 30, 2019. Data were analyzed PASW 18.0 program. As a result, the factors affecting on nursing service quality were professionalism(𝛽=.485, p<.001), communication competence(𝛽=.354, p<.001), hierarchy-oriented organization culture(𝛽=.154, p<.01). The adequacy of the multiple regression model was very significant at the F statistic 64.75(p<.001), explanatory power of 54.6%. Based on this study, it can be useful as basic data for exploring ways to improve nursing service quality and developing nursing intervention programs.

It is necessary to establish a systematic framework where the performance of governmental funding projects can be evaluated just-in-time as well as objectively regarding IT small and medium-sized enterprises and venture business. In this study, a framework is proposed for the performance evaluation using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and a case study is illustrated with an empirical dataset. Especially, in order to enhance the reliability of optimal solutions, a DEA/AR-I revised model is developed by adding Acceptance Region (AR) Type I constraints into the DEA basic model. Based on the procedure and the models, it is considered that an 'efficiency score' can be calculated as a guideline for conducting successive performance evaluation processes fast. As for major governmental funding projects with respect to 'IT SMERP 2010 Plan', performance evaluations are discussed concerning between projects as well as between corporate entities within each project.

This study aimed at developing a generalized model on the estimation of the long - term run - off volume for practical purpose. During the research period of last 3 years( 1986-1988), 3 types of estimation model on the long - term run - off volume(Effective rainfall model, unit hydrograph model and barne's model for dry season) had been developed by the author. In this study, through regressional analysis between determinant factors (bi of effective rainfall model, ai of unit hydrograph model and Wi of barne's model) and catchment characteris- tics(catchment area, distance round the catchment area, massing degree coefficient, river - exte- nsion, river - slope, river - density, infiltration of Watershed) of 11 test case areas by multiple regressional method, a new methodology on the derivation of determinant factors from catchment characteristics in the watershed areas having no hydrological station was developed. Therefore, in the resulting step, estimation equations on run - off volume for practical purpose of which input facor is only rainfall were developed. In the next stage, the derived equations were applied on the Kang - and Namgye - river catchment areas for checking of their goodness. The test results were as follows ; 1. In Kang - river area, average relative estimation errors of 72 hydrographs and of continuous daily run - off volume for 245 days( 1/5/1982 - 31/12) were calculated as 6.09%, 9.58% respectively. 2. In Namgye - river area, average relative estimation errors of 65 hydrographs and of conti- nuous daily run - off volume for 2fl days(5/4/1980-31/12) were 5.68%, 10.5% respectively. In both cases, relative estimation error was averaged as 7.96%, and so, the methodology in this study might be hetter organized than Kaziyama's formula when comparing with the relative error of the latter, 24~54%. However, two case studies cannot be the base materials enough for the full generalization of the model. So, in the future studies, many test case studies of this model should he carries out in the various catchment areas for making its generalization.

The small-sized bi-propellant thruster using a high concentrated hydrogen peroxide and kerosene as the oxidizer and fuel was designed and fabricated in this study. The water cold-flow test was performed to verify the performance characteristics of the injector. The mixing head assembly used in this model thruster was designed as a structure to combine igniter, injectors and film cooling, which are capable of regulating each mass flowrate. This maximize the experimental verification and efficiency of the design optimization. Finally, the mass flowrate and spray pattern of injector were evaluated by the hydraulic test. Therefore, the design validity of the mixing head was verified.
Purpose: Due to an ever more interconnected global commercial environment, the role of SMEs from emerging markets has attracted considerable attention in business literature of late. Reinforced by strategic management theory, this study builds on aspects such as entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities to construct and test a framework that focuses on exploring their associations with export performance. Research design, data and methodology: To contribute further towards a deeper understanding of these markets, the current study empirically tests a model using data collected from 225 exporting firms located throughout South Africa. Results: The results from the data analysis show that entrepreneurial orientation contributes significantly towards improving the performance of South African SMEs. Additionally, this study integrates three dynamic capabilities in the strategy-performance relationship to test their interacting effects on the correlation between entrepreneurial orientation and export performance. Further findings advocate support for relationship-based capabilities playing a moderating role between entrepreneurial orientation and the exporting performance of small and medium firms emanating from emerging markets. Conclusions: Findings provide substance to the argument that entrepreneurship, as a strategy-making process, leads to export performance in emerging nations. Especially, this study provides several suggestions as to how small and medium-sized organizations can develop their exporting performance based on the research findings.
Purpose: This paper has examined the impact of open innovation business model in technology commercialization with the data from 30 companies of manufacturing firms in South Korea. Methods: The findings provide support for distinguishing five hypotheses relating to development time, IP management, sales, firm size and R&D intensity. To test the hypotheses, data were collected using via e-mail and fax. Small and medium-sized (less than 300 employees) and large industrial firms were chosen for this study. Results: The result shows that openness in its business model is positively associated with successful technology commercialization. Conclusion: The major findings and the implications are: First, as the business model gets more open, development period of technology will be more favorable which gets benefit from rising costs of innovation. Second, as the business model gets more open, large portion of sales are created from new products. Thus, the problem of shorter product life in the market which affects large portion of market revenue can be solved through an open business model. Third, in general, R&D intensity, firm size and the level of IP management affect determination of business model types. The findings also suggest that companies need to increasingly address their external technology exploitation process instead of focusing on their internal innovation processes.
