중소병원 간호사의 간호서비스 질에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Affecting on Nursing Service Quality of Small and Medium-sized Hospital Nurses)

  • 본 연구는 중소병원 간호사의 간호전문직관, 간호조직문화 및 의사소통능력이 간호서비스 질에 미치는 영향요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 G 광역시 300병상 미만 중소병원 간호사 166명이었으며, 자료수집은 2019년 8월 22일부터 8월 30일까지 진행하였다. 자료분석은 빈도와 백분율, ANOVA, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Scheffe test, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호서비스 질에 영향요인은 간호전문직관(𝛽=.485, p<.001), 의사소통능력(𝛽=.354, p<.001), 위계지향조직문화(𝛽=.154, p<.01) 순이었다. 추정된 회귀모형의 적합도는 64.75(p<.001)의 F 통계량으로 유의하였으며, 54.6%의 설명력을 보였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호서비스 질을 향상을 위한 방안을 모색하고 이를 위한 간호중재 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초자료로 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

An Empirical Assessment of Organizational Commitment and Job Performance: Vietnam Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

  • Research on employee commitment to the organization is necessary for human resource management, and the result is applied in practice to improve organizational effectiveness. The aim of the present study is to explore factors affecting organizational commitment at the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Besides, the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance is examined as well. The research was conducted on a sample consisting of 67 white-collar workers and 260 blue-collar workers at SMEs. A total of 327 valid complete questionnaires were input into SPSS 20 database for processing to provide evidence. The research model and hypotheses were tested using the technique of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The research resultsrevealed that income, reward and welfare, direct manager, working environment, coworker, and promotion opportunity tended to associate positively with organizational commitment. Besides, the finding also showed that, when the employee has a high organizational commitment, it would lead to high job performance. The main findings of this study provided some managerial implications for SMEs, in general, and managers, in particular. It implies that Vietnam's small and medium-sized enterprises should improve these six factors to retain employees as well as enhance their job performance.

  • 우리나라 IT중소기업은 대부분 핵심적인 기술을 가진 기업에게 부품을 수급받고, 이를 조립하여 대기업에 납품하는 기업이 많다. IT 중소기업의 현실적인 지적재산관련 문제는 직접적인 소송 혹은 클레임의 문제가 아니라 계약상의 제 3자 지적재산 침해문제 혹은 계약이 없을 경우에는 각 준거법상의 묵시적 손해배상 책임의 문제이나, IT중소기업의 협상력이 크지 않기 때문에 계약상에 명시적인 보증조항을 삽입할 수 없고, 각 준거법상으로도 소송의 경제성이 없는 경우가 많아서 실효성이 없기 때문에 이에 대해서 정부기관 및 산하 연구기관에서 연구을 하여 개선안을 도출해야한다고 생각된다.

  • A goal of this research is to propose the remodeling possibility from deteriorated stock apartment housing, to three generation family living in a dwelling unit for low incomes. An apartment housing which was built from 1970s, is accumulated over $55\%$ of the stock housing in Korea, many of them are confront with a rebuilding in a short usage of twenty years below. They are small one, and many of the residence complain narrow and small space compare to economic growth and their needs. This article deals the reform of two to one dwelling units, that it can be use for three generation family living as a new residence, because its spatial character is more controled privacy condition as a four bay spatial organization in the dwelling. The reform simulated in a 10, 13, 14, 15, and 16 pyung, the remodeling size became from 20 to 30 pyung, and its reform can be apply to extend life cycle of a stock confront with redevelopment. The possibility of the reform houses have more intensive privacy in a house compare with same area of new apartment. It tells us that we can recycle the deteriorate apartment house into three generation family living use, and it will be clue to change slum clearance into reform and recycle of deteriorate apartment house.

  • The study was a descriptive research to investigate the effect of job satisfaction and self-leadership of members of small and middle-sized hospital on organizational commitment. Collection of data was conducted throughout members of small and middle-sized hospitals with explanation of purpose from 2011, Oct, 1st to 10th. Collected data was analyzed by T-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test and hierarchical regression analysis with utilizing SPSS Win 16.0. As a result of the expected effect, a degree of effect on organizational commitment has explanation 65.1%(F=183.804) on job satisfaction and self leadership. Also, it was job satisfaction that was found to be more effective, where explanation for it was ${\beta}$=.755 and self-leadership ${\beta}$=.264. With considering these facts, both factors are effective for organizational commitment. Therefore, to improve organizational commitment, it pays systemized strategies and ever more proactive efforts. To strengthen the self leadership, it needs changes in cultural aspects of hospitals to enlarge accessibility to information and opportunities for education and to expand freedom in their responsibility. Great effort on changing in cultural aspects of hospital would, based on effective interrelationship with members, improve efficacies of organization and efficiency of management.

병원행정직원의 조직공정성, 조직신뢰와 조직시민행동의 관계 -병원 규모의 조절효과 (The Relationship between Organizational Justice, Organizational Trust, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Hospital Office Workers, Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Hospital Scales)

  • Objectives : This study examines the voluntary participation of the members of an organization who maintain cordial and friendly relationships with their colleagues, so that the human resources department within a hospital can be used efficiently. Methods : A total of 600 copies of the questionnaire were distributed, and 524 copies were returned (88%). Of these, 518 copies were used to verify statistic results using IBM SPSS and AMOS Ver. 22.0, including factor analysis, path analysis, mediating effects, and moderating effects. Results : The effect of organizational trust on organizational citizenship behavior has shown that OCBI (Interpersonal) is highly affected at large hospitals. However, the effect of organizational trust on OCBO (Organizational) is highly affected at small hospitals. Conclusions : The results of a gap analysis indicated that among the different aspects of organizational justice, distributive justice and interactional justice have a positive effect on organizational trust in small hospitals. The results also revealed that organizational trust and organizational citizenship behavior in small hospitals are more strongly affected than they are in large hospitals. As a result, job efficiency is improved in smaller hospitals.

중소병원 간호사의 직장 내 약자 괴롭힘과 자아존중감 및 이직의도와의 관계 (Relationships of Workplace Bullying to Self-esteem and Turnover Intention among Clinical Nurses at Small and Medium-sized Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was to assess the prevalence of workplace bullying and the relationship workplace bullying to self-esteem and turnover intention among clinical nurses. Methods: The subjects were 223 clinical nurses at 3 small and medium-sized hospitals in K and B cities. The data were collected from February 1st throughout 28th, 2013. The collected data were analyzed using the SAS program through the frequency, percentage, mean, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The rate of self-reported bullying in the nursing workplace was 24.6% of respondents. There was a negative correlation between workplace bullying and self-esteem (r=-.39, p<.001). Also there was a positive correlation between workplace bullying and turnover intention (r=.14, p=.031). Conclusion: Prevalence of self-reported bullying is high among small and medium-sized hospitals and is clearly associated with lower levels of self-esteem and higher levels of turnover intention. Therefore, an organizational nursing management program as a monitoring regularly the psychosocial work environment and policies and procedures to prevent and manage workplace bullying is strongly recommended for the promotion of self-esteem and reducing the nurse's intention to leave the organization.

소아과학 관점에서 바라본 장내 미생물 연구 동향과 향후 방향 (Current Trends and Future Directions of Gut Microbiota and Their-Derived Metabolite Study in the Pediatric Perspective of Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to highlight recent gut-microbiota studies and to encourage gut-microbiota-related researches in Pediatric science of Korean Medicine. Methods We searched gut microbiota related studies and patents via the PubMed database of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the PatentScope database of the UN World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to see current trends of gut microbiota studies. Results All searched research and review articles in gut-microbiota studies were analyzed and presented as two charts, showing the recent trends of gut microbiota research. We summarized and discussed the significance of the selected fifty-six articles. Also, we listed reported gut-microbiota-derived small metabolites, impacting on human health and diseases. Conclusions This study emphasizes the critical roles of gut-microbiota and their-derived small metabolites in the human physiology and pathology. We know and agree that many natural compounds in Korean Medicine could be converted into small metabolites by gut microbiota in our body. Thus, it is important to encourage physicians and researchers of gut microbiota in the arena of Pediatric Korean Medicine. We believe that researchers will find a lot of unknown metabolites produced by gut microbiota from natural compounds in Korean Medicine.

Social Media Adoption: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises' Perspective in Sri Lanka

  • In this digital age, all organizational environments force businesses to adopt Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) since these technologies have immense impact on such businesses' competitiveness and productivity. Nonetheless, the productivity and the competitiveness enjoyed by such firms vary depending on the size or the organizations, context of the country; developing or developed, and what kinds of technologies are adopted. This investigation focused on small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Eastern province of Sri Lanka where such studies are scanty. The adoption of social media (SM) by SMEs is inclined to change how organizations operate, this calls for an investigation of the elements that impact SMEs to adopt SM and such investigation. Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework was based to understand the factors. Research approach was quantitative approach using questionnaire survey. Data were collected using online form to see 285 valid responses. Structural Equation Modelling was deployed to evaluate the proposed model. Results revealed that Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity, Observability, Competitive Intensity, Bandwagon Pressure, and Competitive Pressure were influencing, while Trialability, Top Management Support, CEO's Innovativeness did not show statistically significant influence on SMEs' social media adoption.

중소 제조기업의 경영 성과에 미치는 영향: 경영자특성의 조절효과와 핵심역량의 매개효과 (Effects of SM-sized Manufacturing Firm Management Performance: Control Effect of CEO Characteristics and Mediating Effect of Core Competence)

  • Purpose - For small and medium sized firms, CEO characteristics are main factor influencing firms' prosperity as well as performance. So it is quite natural that many people are interested in factors of CEO that matters. In this research, CEO characteristics in terms of capabilities and skill or special knowledge necessary to run the business are invested for manufacturing firms. Precedent studies reveal that CEO characteristics such as psychological factors including desire to succeed, tendency to take risks, personal factors including age, year of running business, and task related factors including managing capability, communication skills, network influence firm performance for manufacturing firms. However, these studies simply verify whether or not those factors affect firm's managing performance. This study, however, goes further to investigate how is the affecting process from CEO's capabilities and organization characteristics to firm's core competence, and from core competence to advantages, and from advantages to managing performance. Research design, data, and methodology - We make a questionnaire and surveyed manufacturing firm CEO's in Gyeonggi-do area. General characteristics analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis, and control effect analysis was conducted. SPSS 2.0 Win, version was used. Results - The CEO characteristics including basic capability, task capability, leadership, and organization characteristics affect core competence at the statistically significant level. And, core competence affect both price advantage and differentiation advantage at the significant level. Some unique finding is that while differentiation advantage affects both financial achievement and non-financial achievement, price advantage does not affect both financial and non-financial achievement. And firm characteristics mainly measured by CEO characteristics of skills has control effects on the trace from core competence to price advantage. Conclusions - For small and medium sized firms CEO characteristics is the most important factor influencing firm's prosperity. For manufacturing firms, whether CEO has the skill or special knowledge to run the firm is critical factor. The study results show that CEO's for manufacturing firms put importance on price and price advantage which seems to be familiar to them. However, the price advantage does not influential to financial and non-financial achievement. This result suggests that small and medium sized manufacturing firms' CEO's should make effort to improve other aspects of advantages to be more competitive.
