중소기업의 기업가지향성, 학습지향성이 동적역량과 국제화 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 여유자원의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Entrepreneurial Orientation, Learning Orientation and Dynamic Capability on International Performance: Moderating Effects of Slack Resource)

  • The importance of entering the international market for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been continuously emphasized. As a way to overcome these factors, prior studies have increased interest in dynamic capability. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, and dynamic capability on their international performance of SMEs. Drawing on an extensive review of the literature on dynamic capability view and internationalization, hypotheses are developed and tested using a sample of 214 SMEs in South Korea. Structural equation modeling was applied. As a result of analysis, first, dynamic capability has a significant effect on international performance. Second, entrepreneurial orientation has significant influence on dynamic capability. Third, learning orientation has significant influence on dynamic capability. Lastly, slack resource was found to moderate the relationship between dynamic capability and international performance. The results indicate that their entrepreneurial orientation and learning orientation ware driver of their dynamic capability. and that their dynamic capability was significant driver of their international performance. In the final conclusion, implications and limitations of research and suggestions for future research are discussed.

도시의 지속가능한 발전을 위한 유형분류 및 관리방안 (The Classification and Management Plan of City for Sustainable Development)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the cities on sustainability assessment score studied in advance using cluster analysis, to present efficient management and policy direction based on analysis of sustainability index in 45 cities of all over Gyeongsangnam and Gyeongsangbuk-do. According to the results of cluster analysis, 45 cities were classed into 4 clusters by "livable-welfare city", "environmental -ecological city", "scientific-technological city", and "industrial-economic city". The livable-welfare cities must keep superior environmental sustainability, promote small and medium sized business on regional characteristic. The environmental-ecological cities have to change agriculture into future environmental industry such as ecotourism, bio-industry and landscape agriculture. The scientific-technological cities are going to need support of government scale such as income enlargement of citizen and stable job security. Finally, the industrial-economic cities must increase environmental management plants and improve quality of life through securing green spaces, maintaining public peace and applying UIS because of low quality of environment and life.

기업가정신 정책의 이론적 측면에 관한 소고 (A Theoretical Aspects of Entrepreneurship Policy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 활발히 시행되고 있는 기업가정신 정책(entrepreneurship policy)에 대한 이론적 기반을 제공하는 것이다. 먼저 기업가정신 정책은 기업가적 과정에 정부가 개입하는 활동으로, 기업가정신을 가진 개인들의 공급을 증가시키고 그들의 창업활동을 지원하는 정책으로 정의하고, 이를 벤처기업정책 및 중소기업정책과 구분한다. 기업가정신 정책의 경제적 당위성과 관련하여서는 기업가 시장(market for entrepreneur)의 개념을 상정하고, 시장실패의 관점에서 정부의 개입 필요성을 도출하며, 정책수립의 원칙을 제시한다. 또한 기업가적 과정을 토대로 하여 기업가정신 정책의 틀을 모형화 하고, 정책영역별 파급경로(transmission channel)를 파악한다. 기업가정신 정책의 파급경로는 (1) 수요측면, (2) 공급측면, (3) 창업의사결정, (4) 자원조달 등이다. 마지막으로 각 정책영역 및 파급경로별로 구체적인 정책수단 혹은 프로그램들을 유형화하고, 이 기준에 따라서 실제로 우리나라에서 수행되고 있는 기업가정신 정책들을 분류한다. 하지만 본 연구는 기업가정신 정책에 대한 실험적인 경제 분석이므로 기업가정신 정책에 대한 연구목적이나 정책수립목표에 따라서 접근방법 및 내용이 달라질 수 있다.

장애인기업의 연구개발 지원 방안 연구 (Research on the R&D Support Plan for Disabled Enterprise)

  • 본 연구는 장애인기업에 대한 현황과 연구개발활동을 살펴보고 연구개발 지원 방안을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 통해 연구개발에 대한 기업의 수요와 연구개발활동이 활발한 기업의 특성을 도출하였으며, 이를 종합하여 연구개발지원 방안을 제안하였다. 중소기업과 장애인기업의 업종별 입지계수(LQ) 비교결과 장애인종사자수는 업종별 큰 특화를 보였다. 연구개발은 제조업을 비롯한 4개 업종의 매출액 20억원 이상 기업에서 활발하였다. 연구결과 장애인기업에 대한 연구개발 지원은 업종 및 기업의 규모에 따라 현장애로기술중심과 혁신기술중심으로 구분하여 지원할 필요가 있다.

  • 소재·부품·장비 산업은 중소기업 중심의 제조업 경쟁력의 원천이 되는 지역경제 활성화에 중요한 산업이다. 충청지역 소재·부품·장비 산업의 경쟁력 분석을 통해 소재·부품·장비 산업 발전에 필요한 시사점을 도출 하고자 충청지역의 소재·부품·장비 산업을 대상으로 사업체 규모계수, 산업 성장률, 산업 특화도, 변이할당분석 기법의 지역 경쟁력 수치 등에 기반하여 각 권역별(대전, 세종, 충남, 충북) 산업 발전 단계 및 경쟁력을 분석하였다. 2014년 및 2019년의 종업원수, 사업체수 및 생산액 등의 자료를 이용하여 산업의 특화 수준과 지역 경쟁력이 고려된 유의미한 권역별 산업군을 확인하고, 이들 유의미한 산업군에 대한 산업 발전 단계상에서의 위치를 파악하여, 충청지역 소재·부품·장비 산업의 발전을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

중소기업의 협력활동과 지식공유가 기업경쟁력에 미치는 영향: 기업환경요인의 조절효과 (The Effect of Inter-firm Cooperation and Knowledge Sharing on Firm Competitiveness of SMEs: Moderating Effects of Environmental Factors)

  • Recognizing the significance of inter-firm cooperation for firm's sustainable competitive advantage in today's business environment, this study investigates the effects of inter-firm cooperation and knowledge sharing on firm competitiveness based on 327 Korean small and medium sized enterprises. We also examines a mediating effects of knowledge sharing on the relationship between inter-firm cooperation and firm competitiveness and moderating effects of environmental factors on this relationship. The environmental factors are conceptualized by intensity of market competition and technological change. The main findings of the study are as follows: First, the paper found that inter-firm cooperation was positively associated with firm competitiveness while there was also a positive relationship between knowledge sharing and firm competitiveness. Second, it also shows that knowledge sharing partially mediated the relationship of inter-firm cooperation and firm competitiveness. Third, we also found that technological change had negative moderating effects on the relationship between inter-firm cooperation and firm competitiveness. This study suggests that understanding of inter-firm cooperation with consideration of environmental characteristics are required for better firm competitiveness.

K-모델기반의 소프트웨어 프로세스 품질 척도 및 인증절차 설계 (Design of Quality Metrics and Accreditate Procedure for SW Process Improvement based on K-model)

  • 소프트웨어 품질 및 신뢰성 확보를 위해서는 체계적인 소프트웨어 개발, 관리 및 조직적인 지원 등이 이루어져야만 한다. 이러한 소프트웨어 프로세스 개선모델로는 ISO/IEC 15504와 CMMI 등의 국제적 모델이 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 국제적 SPI 모델은 대규모의 조직이나 대규모 프로젝트를 적용대상으로 하고 있으며, 수행해야만 하는 활동과 프로세스가 많을 뿐만 아니라 프로세스 심사 또는 인증 시에 비용과 시간이 많이 소요되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문은 CMMI, ISO/IEC 15504 및 국내 중소기업들이 프로세스 개선에 쉽게 적용가능 하도록 개발한 소프트웨어 프로세스 품질인증 모델인 K-모델의 특징을 서로 비교하고 K-모델을 기반으로 프로세스 심사, 개선 및 인증 시에 필요한 측정 메트릭스를 제시한다. 정량적이고 객관적인 프로세스 측정을 통하여 프로세스 개선이 쉽게 이루어질 수 있으며, 실험을 통하여 메트릭스의 타당성을 분석한다.

The Effects of Project based Action Learning in Web-based SMEs : ALPACO Case

  • How can action learning program promote organizational learning performance and especially project based team performance in Web-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)? This article discusses the association between project based team in action learning program and the performance of Web-based SME to be learning organization. In the case of ALPACO, action learning program that promote employee communication behavior, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning are found to be positively associated with the project based team performance and organizational learning, The results indicate that action learning program in SMEs indeed associated with greater knowledge sharing, learning communication skills and changing organizational culture. Learning organization can be, in turn, positively developed by project based team through action learning program for creating competitive advantage, Also, this study offers further support for the practical perspective on learning organization performance. The evidence from this case study suggests that the project team in action learning program playa significant role in team performance and the development of learning organization of the firm. Therefore, in the future, Web-based SMEs should consider making investments in action learning program that encourage project team's effective management in decision making, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning.

국제화된 인적자본이 중소기업의 수출성과에 미치는 영향: 수출경험과 수출시장다변화의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Internationalized Human Capital on Export Performance of SMEs: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Export Experience and Export Market Diversification)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of internationalized human capital on SME's export performance and to examine the moderating effects of export experience and export market diversification of SMEs that can affect the relationship between internationalized human capital and export performance of SMEs. The results of empirical analysis of 150 small and medium-sized enterprises located in Jeonnam province are as follows. First, the internationalized human capital of SMEs was found to have a positive (+) effect on export performance. Second, as a result of empirically analyzing the moderating effect of internationalized human capital on export performance, the export experience of SMEs was found to have a negative (-) moderating effect on the relationship between internationalized human capital and export performance of SMEs, and the export market diversification had a negative (-) moderating effect on the relationship between internationalized human capital and export performance of SMEs. This study provides meaningful theoretical implications in that this study identified the role of human capital by analyzing the relationship between internationalized human capital as an important source of competitive advantage of SMEs and export performance.

Cost-Benefit Analysis and Challenges of Implementing FSC Standards in Rubber Plantations in Southern Thailand

  • This study examines the cost and benefit (i.e., income) of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) rubber plantations in Thailand. The study attempts to identify the challenges to the implementation of FSC standards in rubber plantations in the country. A total of 60 rubber farmers in two Southern provinces, namely, Songkhla and Rayong, were interviewed through a standardized questionnaire to gather primary data. The study found that small-, medium- and large-sized FSC rubber plantations were worth investing in. All sizes of rubber plantations had similar values of benefit cost ratio (BCR). It was also found that the values of the discount payback period (DPP) of the three forms of FSC rubber plantations were 9-12 years, while the large rubber plantations had the highest internal rate of return (IRR) (19.0%). It implies that the large-size plantations had the highest values. The rubber farmers in the study area reported that they are facing a number of problems and hardships in implementing FSC standards, lacking knowledge and understanding of FSC, especially for preparing documentation. Therefore, the Thai government should take proper policy initiatives to remove all the problems and barriers in implementing FSC standards for the sustainable rubber production in the country.
