소규모 무선 네트워크에 적합한 중앙제어 방식의 DESYNC 개선 방안 (A Centralized DESYNC Scheme in Small-Scale Wireless Networks)

  • 최근 기기간 통신에 따른 소규모 네트워크에 적합한 통신 방법들에 대한 관심이 급증하면서 수요가 증가하고 있다. 소규모 네트워크의 기본적 시스템은 TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access)방식이 사용될 수 있다. 하지만 TDMA는 동기화 방식이 복잡하고 추가 장비가 필요하며 비용적인 측면에서 비효율 적이다. 때문에 본 논문에서는 DESYNC(DESYNChronization)를 이용하여 소규모 네트워크에 적합한 동기화 방법을 제안한다. 기존 DESYNC는 동기화 완료까지의 시간이 걸리고 지연시간을 보장하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 DESYNC 알고리즘을 개선하여 BC(Bridge Count)-DESYNC를 제안한다. BC-DESYNC는 통신 범위를 초과한 노드들 사이에 CU(Central Unit)을 배치하여 중앙제어장치 기능을 통해 노드들의 통신이 가능하도록 하며, Mimic DESYNC와 C-DESYNC를 이용하여 동기화 상태 완료 시간을 보장한다.

장애인거주시설 유형별 이용자 보호비용(care-cost) 비교 (Comparison of Care Cost Among Large Institution, Small Group-home and Independent Living Home for Disabled People)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 장애인거주시설 중 장애유형별생활시설, 장애인공동생활가정, 장애인자립홈의 이용자 1인당 거주시설 보호비용을 산출하고, 이를 시설유형별, 세입재원별, 장애정도별로 비교하여 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 살펴보는데 있다. 보다 엄밀한 보호비용 산출을 위하여 회계분야에서 사용하는 원가분석(cost-analysis)방법을 활용하여 거주시설 이용자 1인당 연간 보호비용(단위원가)을 산출하였다. 연구결과 거주시설 유형별로 생활시설은 약 15,000천원 ~ 20,000천원, 공동생활가정은 약 10,000천원 ~ 11,000천원, 자립홈은 약 4,025천원으로 나타났다. 장애정도가 유사한 이용자들만을 별도로 선정하여 거주시설 유형별 보호비용의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 생활시설에 거주하는 이용자가 공동생활가정 이용자보다 높았고, 공동생활가정 이용자는 자립홈 이용자보다 높게 나타났다. 이로써 우리나라에서 주장되고 있는 시설보호의 '규모의 경제' 논리는 실증적인 근거에 반한다고 할 수 있다. 서비스 효과측면에서 뿐만 아니라 비용측면에서도 향후 정책방향은 소규모 지역사회시설을 중심으로 공급을 확대하는 것이 필요하다. 이와 함께 현재 턱 없이 낮게 설정되어 있는 소규모 지역사회거주시설에 대한 정부의 재정지원 수준을 높이는 일도 중요한 과제라고 할 수 있을 것이다.

자원지도에 의한 소수력 잠재량 산출 (Estimation Method of Small Hydro Power Potential Using a Resource Map)

  • This paper presents an estimation method of small hydro power(SHP) potential using a SHP resource map. As a basic unit of SHP energy potential at a certain area, capacity and annual energy production of unit head was calculated from the catchment area given by a SHP resource map which was established by numerical hydrologic simulation so that a logical and relatively accurate potential estimation was possible comparing with the performance analysis model for SHP sites. The performance characteristics for Samok-Ri site were analyzed, using the SHP resource map and the developed model. It was found that the SHP resource map and the developed model is useful tool to estimate SHP potential.

  • A goal of this research is to propose and testify the remodeling possibility from deteriorated stock apartment housing, to three generation family living in a dwelling unit for low incomes. An apartment housing which is introduced from 1970s, is accumulated over 55% of the stock housing in Korea, many of them are confront with a rebuilding in a short usage of twenty years below. They were built in a small one, and it testified from two to one conversion in this article that can be applicated in a 10, 13, 14, I5, and 16 pyung, the remodeling size became from 20 to 36 pyung. In this article, we can see a reform model in possible for three generation family living in the small apartment house.

소형 폐가전 수거 시스템 개발 (Development of a Small Waste Appliance Collection System)

  • In this paper, we propose a small waste appliance collection system that can be used for efficient waste appliance collection, and implement an unmanned automatic small waste appliance collector system. First, we collected cases related to the collection of waste home appliances, compared and analyzed methods, and arranged the characteristics. We analyzed at the requirements for the collection and management system of waste appliances by dividing it into the aspect of the discharger and the recycling business company. The collection system consists of a client-server structure, which is a collector system and a collection management server. The unmanned automatic collector system is divided into a control unit and a machine/mechanical unit. We identified the functions that the collector system must perform and the hardware required to perform these functions. Based on this, the collector system was implemented as an embedded system. The hardware and software used in the implementation are described and the implementation results are described. The collection system developed in this paper will contribute to the development of urban mining industry by enabling the efficient collection of waste appliances.

Development of Auxiliary Wheel Unit Mechanism for Overcoming Obstacles

  • Recently, the spread of personal mobility has been rapidly increasing due to the development of environmentally friendly alternative transportation means. In addition, the level of battery technology is also rapidly developing, accelerating the popularization of personal mobility. Such personal mobility has convenience of location transfer, amusement, and high portability compared to other transportation devices. Most personal mobility, however, is made up of small wheels, which cannot overcome obstacles such as rugged roads or obstacles on the road. In this paper, to solve these problems, we tried to devise a device that can easily overcome obstacles by combining wheels with small moving means. The wheel size can be mounted on the front wheel of the small moving means in a protruding manner so that obstacles can be encountered before the front wheels and the safety and ride comfort of the running can be improved.

작은 도시에 에어비앤비 가격지도: 지리가중접근법 활용한 마카오 관광지에 대한 분석 (Mapping Airbnb prices in a small city: A geographically weighted approach for Macau tourist attractions)

  • The objectives of this research are to test the utility of semiparametric geographically weighted regression (SGWR, a spatial analysis method) in the small-scale urban sample, and to understand the geographic patterns of provision and pricing of sharing economy based accommodations in the tourist city. This paper focused on how network distance to heritage site, to casino, residential unit prices and other five attribute categories determine Airbnb price in Macau SAR, China. Findings show that SGWR models outperformed OLS models. Moreover, comparing with heritage sites, casinos are the stronger factors to drive up Airbnb (including hostels) rooms' provision and their prices; and residential unit prices are not related with the Airbnb price in the attraction clusters in Macau. This research showed a little example for the applications of SGWR in the small city, and for the analysis of online marketplace data as new urban study material. Practically, this study provides some scientific evidence for hosts, guests, urban planners, and policymakers' decision making in Macau.

강소주택 실효성 논의를 위한 일본 소형주택 공간 활용 사례 분석 (A Case Study of Space Utilization on Compact Houses in Japan to build Compact-but-effective Houses in Korea)

  • The objective of this study is to find a possible application of small space utilization of GangSo Housing, so called compact-but-effective housing, through analyzing that of Japanese small housing. We analyze openness of view and flexibility of spaces divided by the physical and architectural aspects as first component and the psychological and interior space aspects as second component. The results showed that Japanese small houses have various unit plan compared to uniformity of Korean houses. Openness of view in Japanese small housing is accomplished by letting in light from the outside using position and shape of the window, looking more spacious using courtyard, void spaces, or sliding door hanging from the ceiling, and creating deception of view using floor-wall plan and appropriate materials. Flexibility of spaces is achieved by combination of first and second components, multipurpose of space and furniture, and variety of storage methods. It is necessary to improve spatial efficiency with consideration of volume-metric planing rather than flat-plane and develop various unit plans to meet residents' needs and demands on compact-but-effective houses.

A Control Strategy Based on Small Signal Model for Three-Phase to Single-Phase Matrix Converters

  • This paper presents a novel close-loop control scheme based on small signal modeling and weighted composite voltage feedback for a three-phase input and single-phase output Matrix Converter (3-1MC). A small non-polar capacitor is employed as the decoupling unit. The composite voltage weighted by the load voltage and the decoupling unit voltage is used as the feedback value for the voltage controller. Together with the current loop, the dual-loop control is implemented in the 3-1MC. In this paper, the weighted composite voltage expression is derived based on the sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (SPWM) strategy. The switch functions of the 3-1MC are deduced, and the average signal model and small signal model are built. Furthermore, the stability and dynamic performance of the 3-1MC are studied, and simulation and experiment studies are executed. The results show that the control method is effective and feasible. They also show that the design is reasonable and that the operating performance of the 3-1MC is good.

일본 공동주택 시노노메 캐널코트의 단위세대 주거평면 분석 (Analysis on the Unit-Plans of Shinonome Canal Court Multi-dwellings Project in Japan)

  • The aim of the research is to find out the direction of unit-plans in multi-dwellings for the future society. Shinonome Canal Court where residents actually live now are the objects in this study, and the residential floor plan of unit-plans were analyzed to find out the typical types. The analysis was focused on the unit-plans of 5 blocks of Shinonome Canal Court. Space Syntax Theory was used as the analysis method. As the first stage of the analysis, justified graphs were made to find out the characters of unit-plans through the classification of the graphs. Contents of the analysis are as follows: Relationship between classified justified graphs and dimension according to node number. Relationship between classified justified graph patterns and unit-plans. Characters of unit-plans in each blocks. Shinonome Canal Court consists of mainly small scale unit-plans and 30unit-plans are classified. 1LDK, 2LDK, 1LDK+S, 1LDK+f are typical unit-plans which are mainly supplied in the complex. It is noted that the results of the analysis by node, justified graph pattern and dimension are the same. It also presents diverse unit-plans which shows a change in nLDK pattern or add f (foyer), AN (annex), S (service room), Fs (free space) to basic nLDK type. In summary, it demonstrates the possibility of creating new residental floor plans in multi-dwellings.
