정상 성인의 비음도와 비인강 활성도에 관한 연구 (A Study of Normal Nasalance and Velopharyngeal Port Activity in the Speech of Korean Adults)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain normative nasalance scores for adult subjects speaking the Korean language. Additional objectives of the study were to determine if speaker sex played a role in differences in nasalance score and there was significantly correlation of nasalance score with nasalance slope score. The subjects include 75 healthy young Korean adults with normal oral and velopharyngeal resource and function. They had no history of speech problem, were judged as having normal speech and resonance at the time of testing, and had no upper respiratory tract infections or allergies at the time of testing. The Nasometer II 6400 was used to obtain nasalance scores and nasalance slope scores for /a/, /i/, /e/, /o/, /u/, /ja/, /je/, /wi/, /p'ap'i/ and /sasi/. The data of nasalance and nasalance slope were analyzed statistically. The mean nasalance score of the female was significantly higher than that of male at /a/, /i/, /wi/, /p'ap'i/ and /sasi/(p <0.10). The mean nasalance score of /i/ was highest and that of /o/ was the lowest. In this study, we could not and the relationship of the nasalance score and the closing slope score. However, there was negative correlation between the mean nasalance score and the opening slope score at ie/ and /;ai, positive to /sasi/. These normative nasalance scores for normal young adults speaking the Korean language provide important reference information for Korean cleft palate teams. In the future study of velopharygneal activity with the Nasometer, the opening slope score will be able to be the important parameter.

앵커 긴장력 변화에 따른 비탈면 유지관리 연구 (A Study on the Cut-slope Maintenance according to Anchor Tension Force)

  • 비탈면의 안정성 측면에서 파괴형태에 따라 예상 파괴면에서의 지반 전단력과 앵커보강에 의한 저항력은 중요한 요소로 작용할 수 있다. 또한, 앵커가 보강된 비탈면에서는 지압판이 설치된 지반의 풍화, 침하 및 불완전하게 방청 처리된 강연선의 부식 등으로 인하여 앵커축력이 변할 수 있다. 그러나 앵커 축력의 변화로 인해 국부적으로 앵커의 저항력을 상실한 경우에는 앵커가 저항력을 발휘하지 못하게 되어 주변 앵커로 외력이 전가되는 경향이 있으며, 이에 따라 주변앵커의 긴장력을 증가시키게 된다. 이로 인해 전체 비탈면의 안정성에 문제가 발생하게 되므로 주의가 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비탈면에 설치되어 있는 앵커의 긴장력 변화경향을 모니터링하고 이를 고려한 비탈면 전체의 외적 안정성을 유추하는 방법을 제안하고자 하였다.

사판식 축 피스톤 펌프 밸브블록의 구조 해석에 관한 연구 (Structural Analysis of the Valve Block of a Swash Plate-Type Axial Piston Pump)

  • A swash plate-type piston pump is a device used to discharge hydraulic fluid as the volume generated through the piston moves in the direction of the slope by adjusting the angle of its swash plate. In addition, the valve block internalized in the pump includes a flow path for intake from outside, a flow path for discharge, and a pilot conduit line to control discharge pressure and flux. In this study, a numerical analysis is conducted to improve the cracking of the valve block generated during process testing, and the developed pump is evaluated.

  • A method for analysis of the free vibrations of the composite cylindrical shell with a longitudinal, interior rectangular plate is developed by using the receptance method. This method is based on the ratio of a deflection(or slope) response to a harmonic force(or moment) at an joint point. The natural frequencies of the combined shells calculated numerically. The results are compared with the experiment and a finite, element analysis results in order to validate the formulation. The effects of the location and thickness of the plate on the frequencies are also investigated.

Kinematic limit analysis of pullout capacity for plate anchors in sandy slopes

  • The pullout capacity of plate anchors has been studied extensively over the past 40 years. However, very few studies have attempted to calculate the pullout capacity of anchors in sandy slopes. In this paper, three upper bound approaches are used to study the effect of a sloping ground surface and friction angle on pullout capacity and failure of plate anchors. This includes the use of; simple upper bound mechanisms; the block set mechanism approach; and finite element upper bound limit analysis. The aim of this research is to better understand the various failure mechanisms and to develop a simple methodology for estimating the pullout capacity of anchors in sandy slopes.

사축식 유압 피스톤 펌프의 밸브 플레이트 형상과 하우징 진동간 상관관계에 대한 해석 (Analysis on the Relationships Between the Valve Plate Geometry and the Housing Vibration of a Bent-Axis Type Hydraulic Piston Pump)

  • The vibration of hydraulic piston pumps is induced by the periodically changing cylinder chamber pressure whose waveform is significantly influenced by valve plate geometry. In this study, the force input to the housing of a bent-axis type hydraulic piston pump was computed by deriving the dynamic equations of its piston and cylinder barrel. The vibration intensity of the pump was represented by the acceleration amplitude of its housing. In order to comparatively evaluate the influence of valve plate geometry on the vibration of pump housing, two different types of valve plate were tested. The computed results showed good agreement with the experimental data, indicating that the vibration acceleration of pump housing is rather dependent on the variation amplitude of balance coefficient than the changing slope or overshoot of cylinder chamber pressure. It was also confirmed that the design effect of valve plates could be directly examined out by monitoring the vibration acceleration of pump housing.

불포화 사면안정에 미치는 세립분의 영향분석 (Effect of Fines on the Stability of Unsaturated Soil Slopes)

  • 국내 풍화토사면의 경우 순수 균질 사면보다는 대부분 점토 및 세립분이 섞인 비균질 상태로 존재하며 이러한 함유비율은 풍화도 및 지역에 따라 다르다. 따라서 세립분함량 변화에 따른 불포화사면에의 분석을 위해, 화강풍화토(SW)에 일정비율의 세립분(CH)을 섞어 성형한 시료를 통해 GCTS pressure plates을 이용한 함수특성곡선 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 및 침투해석결과 강우지속시간에 따른 포화깊이의 증가율은 세립분이 증가할수록 또한 상대밀도가 증가할수록 작아졌다. 또한 침투해석과 포화 및 불포화강도정수를 이용한 사면 안정성 해석결과(SLOPE/W), 전반적으로 세립분함량 $10\sim15%$의 범위까지는 침투깊이 증가에 따른 흡수력 변화가 안전율에 지대한 영향을 미치는 반면 이를 초과하는 경우(>15%)에는 오히려 세립분함량 증가에 따른 강도정수의 변화가 크게 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

Investigation of the Three-Dimensional Turbulent Flow Fields of the Gas Swirl Burner with a Cone Type Baffle Plate(II)

  • This paper presents three-dimensional mean velocities, turbulent intensities and Reynolds shear stresses measured in the Y-Z plane of the gas swirl burner with a cone type baffle plate by using an X-type hot-wire probe. This experiments is carried out at the flow rate of 450ℓ/min which is equivalent to the combustion air flow rate necessary to heat release 15,000 kcal/hr in a gas furnace. Mean velocities and turbulent intensities etc. show that their maximum values exist around the narrow slits situated radially on the edge of and in front of a burner. According to downstream regions, they have a peculiar shape like a starfish because the flows going out of the narrow slits and the swirl vanes of an inclined baffle plate diffuse and develop into inward and outward of a burner. The rotational flow due to the inclined flow velocity going out of swirl vanes of a cone type baffle plate seems to decrease the magnitudes of mean velocities V and W respectively by about 30% smaller than those of mean velocity U. The turbulent intensities have large values of 50%∼210% within the range of 0.5

삼각경사면 보행 시 하지 관절 생체역학적 분석 (Lower Extremity Biomechanics while Walking on a Triangle-Shaped Slope)

  • 보행 분석은 다양한 지형에서 수행되고 있으나 지형이 변화되는 시점에서의 보행 분석 연구는 보고된 바 없다. 본 연구의 목적은 삼각경사 보행 시 지형이 변화되는 시점에서 발목 및 무릎 관절의 운동학과 운동역학을 평지 보행과 비교 분석하는 것이다. 3차원 동작분석 시스템과 지면 반력기를 사용하여 성인 남성 18명의 하지 운동학 및 운동역학 자료를 획득하였다. 삼각경사 보행에서 최대 발목 배측굴곡각 및 모멘트와 최대 무릎 신전 모멘트가 평지보행과 비교하였을 때 증가하였다(p<0.05). 삼각경사의 상승경사 보행 시 $50^{\circ}$가 넘는 무릎 굽힘각과 그 시기에 발생하는 큰 무릎 신전 모멘트는 슬개대퇴증후군의 위험을 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 삼각경사의 하강경사 보행에서 증가된 발목 배측굴곡 운동범위는 비복근과 아킬레스건 부상 위험을 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

울산지역 제3기 정자분지의 도로사면 지반특성 (Geotechnical Characteristics of Cut Slope in Tertiary Jungja Bain, Ulsan area)

  • Road is built continuously along with development of industry and cut slope is happened necessarily in road construction. Geoengineers are executing cut slope stability analysis considering various cut slope condition such as topography, geology, hydraulic condition and so on. The Tertiary Jungja Basin is located in the southeastern coastal area of the Korea Peninsula. Jungja Basin area is created by geotectonic movement of the plate after Early Miocene epoch. The northwestern and southwestern boundary of the basin is fault zone. The Basement rock is hornfels (Ulsan Formation). Basin-fills consist of extrusive volcanic rock(Tangsa Andesites), unconsolidated fluviatile conglomerate(Kangdong Formation) and shallow brackish-water sandstone(Sinhyun Formation). The characteristics of cut slopes in this area is different with cut slopes in the other site. Soil layers in this area is unconsolidated sediments and is not formed the weathering and erosion of the rock. So, the depth of soil layer is very thick. Faults of this area are northwest-southeast and northeast-southwest direction. Expandible clay mineral as smectite, chlorite et al. detected from fault gouge using XRD. Therefore, Jungja Basin area must consider the characteristics of the faults and soil layers thickness necessarily cut slopes stability analysis.
