능동형 현가시스템을 위한 모드 SKY-HOOK 감쇠 제어기 (Modal Sky-Hook Dampers for Active Suspension Control)

  • Active suspension control for vehicles is developed to improve both ride comfort and steering stability which are in trade off relation. In this study, the modal sky-hook controller for 7 D. O. F. model is proposed to resolve the problems such as computaional power restriction and uncertainties in modeling of systems and environments. Modal sky-hook controller reduces the coupling between the modes to be controlled. The simulation result for ride comfort shows that the perform ance of the proposed controller matches that of the optimal controller. Systematic method of determining its gain is proposed. The model sky-hook controller shows the robustness to road irregularity and modeling error.

가상 동흡진기를 고려한 우등버스용 MR댐퍼의 제어 시뮬레이션 (Control simulation of MR damper for a cruise bus including the virtual dynamic damper)

  • In this study, a control method of MR(magneto-rheological) damper for a cruise bus is investigated. A virtual dynamic damper and a sky-hook algorithm are employed to control the damping characteristics of MR damper. Coefficients for a virtual dynamic damper are determined through the parameter identification. A quarter car model of a cruise bus is established by using ADAMS/Car program for the computer simulation. Sine wave excitation and random excitation are used to compare the controlled MR damper with the passive damper. From the simulation results, the performance of MR damper with a virtual dynamic damper is better than that of the passive damper.

  • The dynamic model of the suspension system is developed by using both sky-hook control and output feedback control techniques. based on the performance sensitivity index, Many vehicles use sky-hook control theory operated with only one sensor, due to relatively low cost and easy implementation. On the other hand, output feedback control implemented with state variables has difficulties in measuring such as tire deflection, etc.

  • In this study, the performance of a semi-active suspension system for heavy duty tracked vehicles has been investigated. To this end, continuous and on-off Sky-Hook control law have been evaluated for a 1/4 car model. Simulation results show that the semi-active suspension system has potential to improve ride quality of the vehicle. And we proposed a method for improving of variable damper performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 스카이훅댐퍼 시스템의 해석 및 설계에 능동 서스펜션 제어 이론을 적용하여 현가장치설계에 응용 할 수 있는 이론 및 실험 적 제어장치 적용에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 최근의 현가장치설계에서는 강성과 감쇠를 능동적으로 제어하는 기술의 적용이 일반화되고 있으며, 다른 차량안정성 제어장치와의 연계성이 높아짐에 따라, 제어 시스템설계에서 보다 내구성 이 강하고 제어효과의 응답성이 빠르며 정도 또한 높은 제어장치의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 댐퍼의 위치관계에 따른 스카이훅시스템을 해석하여 위와 같은 빠른 응답성과 높은 정도의 제어가 가능한 제어시스템을 해석, 설계하기 위하여 강인제어시스템의 적용에 관한 고찰을 하였다. 그리고 제어대상시스템에 대한 강인제어시스템을 설계하기 위한 모델링 및 적용방법을 수식적으로 해석하였으며, 스카이훅현가장치의 제어시 스템설계에 중요한 내외란성 향상을 위한 강인제어시스템설계에 적용하는 방법에 관해 고찰하였다.

  • The controllers for a full car 7-DOF model with 4 active or semi-active suspension units are designed and evaluated in this research. The control algorithms for suspension systems, such as full state feedback active, full state feedback semi-active, sky-hook active, sky-hook semi-actvie, and on-off suspension systems, are analyzed and evaluated with respect to ride comfort. The vehicle dynamic performances are expressed by response curves to a bump input, performance indices for asphalt road input, and frequency characteristic curves. Heaving, rolling, and pitching inputs are applied to the vehicle dynamic system to evaluate frequency characteristics. The simulation results show that the ride quality of the sky-hook controller approaches that the full state feedback controller more closely in semi-active suspension system than in active suspension system. For the implementation of a vehicle with sky-hook suspension control systems in this paper, 7 velocity sensors are required to measure the states.

  • Commercial vehicles are mostly subjected to relatively rougher ground environment than passenger vehicles. Many driver's seats of commercial vehicles have suspension system with spring and dampers. Then, impact or vibrative forces transmitted from the vehicle to the driver can be attenuated. This study deals with a ride evaluation method using sky-hook control algorithm for the suspension dampers. Vibration amplitude transmissibilities were compared between passive dampers and semi-active dampers with sky-hook control method.

  • This paper is used the commercial magneto-rheological(MR) damper for landing gear. The damping characteristics of Commercial MR damper by changing the intensity of the magnetic field are investigated and the dynamic responses of the landing gear. it is set up tset equipment, the landing gear drop test system. The landing gear involved drop testing the gear. The landing gear is tested by implementing sky-hook control algorithm and its performance is evaluated comparing to the result.

  • 최근 고층건물의 방진시스템 및 자동차의 현가장치 분야에 MR 유체를 이용한 반능동 진동제어에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되면서 MR 유체의 밸브모드 특성을 이용한 선형 MR 댐퍼가 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 전단모드를 이용한 회전형 MR 댐퍼에 관한 연구는 초기단계에 머물고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 주행로봇의 무한회전형 액츄에이터용 회전형 댐퍼의 진동제어에 관한 연구를 수행하였으며, 퍼지 로직을 기반으로 한 회전형 MR 댐퍼용 진동제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 퍼지제어기의 입출력 이득과 멤버쉽 함수의 모양은 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 조정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 MR 댐퍼에 충격력이 가해질 때 퍼지 스카이-훅 제어의 제어성능을 보여준다.

  • A semi-active suspension test system was designed and built for the experimental study. Vehicle parameters were estimated through tests and a quarter-car model was validated by comparing computer simulation results and laboratory test results. Alternative semi-active suspension control laws have been tested using the test system. Modulable damper used in this study is a "reverse" damper with 42 states which is controlled by a stepper motor. Experimental results have shown that semi-active suspensions have potential to improve ride quality of automobiles.tomobiles.
