대공무기체계의 능력평가를 위한 시뮬레이션모델의 연구 (A Simulation Model for Performance Evaluation of Air Defense-gun System)

  • The object of this paper is developing of a simulation model for performance evaluation of ai defense-gun system. We developed a three-step kill probability of areal target in case of one gun on one target considering : 1) estimating the target and warhead intercept point, 2) target vulnerability and 3) computing the kill probability. We used a Monte Carlo simulation method. This model can be used for probabilistic analysis giving results of sufficient accuracy with minimum requirement of input data. Also we developed a computer program according proposed algorithm and a set of experimental results using the proposed method are shown.

  • Process planning and scheduling are traditionally regarded as separate tasks performed sequentially. But if two tasks are performed concurrently, greater performance can be achieved. In this study, we propose new approach to integration of process planning and scheduling. We propose new process planning combinations selection method using simulation based genetic algorithms. Computational experiments show that proposed method yield better performance when compared with existing methods.

  • In regression model we estimate the unknown parameters using various methods. There are the least squares method which is the most general, the least absolute deviation, the regression quantile and the asymmetric least squares method. In this paper, we will compare each others with two case: to begin with the theoretical comparison in the asymptotic sense, and then the practical comparison using Monte Carlo simulation for a small sample size.

  • A computer program was developed for simulating performance(capacity, power consumption and etc.) of air-conditioners using compressor, fin-tube heat exchanger and capillary tube. The program consists of five modules, condenser, evaporator, compressor, capillary tube simulation modules and properties modules of refrigerant and moist air, The present program is focused on R22 only, however can be easily extended for other refrigerants such as R407C and R410A just by adding property modules. The compressor simulation module utilizes performance maps supplied by manufacturers-map-based model. The condenser and evaporator simulation modules are modeled using tube-by-tube method. Simulation results(capacity and power consumption) were compared with calorimeter test results of actual air-conditioners of window and split types, where more than 82% of the data lied within ${\pm}5$% of the predicted results.

그래프 신경망을 이용한 단순 선박 선형의 저항성능 시뮬레이션 (Resistance Performance Simulation of Simple Ship Hull Using Graph Neural Network)

  • During the ship hull design process, resistance performance estimation is generally calculated by simulation using computational fluid dynamics. Since such hull resistance performance simulation requires a lot of time and computation resources, the time taken for simulation is reduced by CPU clusters having more than tens of cores in order to complete the hull design within the required deadline of the ship owner. In this paper, we propose a method for estimating resistance performance of ship hull by simulation using a graph neural network. This method converts the 3D geometric information of the hull mesh and the physical quantity of the surface into a mathematical graph, and is implemented as a deep learning model that predicts the future simulation state from the input state. The method proposed in the resistance performance experiment of simple hull showed an average error of about 3.5 % throughout the simulation.

  • In the IS-95 packet service system, the radio channels are generally classified into the dedicated and common traffic channels. In this paper, the performance of the common traffic channel access method is evaluated using simulation. The simulation results are compared with those of random access method. Simulation results show that the capacity can be increased up to 25% by applying the proposed common channel access method. The delay problem and variance of BER are also discussed.

  • In this paper, elastic properties such as Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of various transition metal nanofilms are calculated for the {100} and {110} surfaces by using molecular dynamics simulation. A new method using $3^{rd}$ order elastic constants and least square method is presented for the calculation of elastic constants. We also introduce analytical method of calculating elastic constants for EAM potential and it's results as the reference value to be compared with the simulation results.

  • As a part of work to simulate electromagnetic environments for Hardware-In-the-Loop(HIL) simulation, the dynamic trajectory is modeled by the Way-points method and the Event-driven method for the aerial and the naval targets. The simulated results show that the Way-points method and the Event-driven method are appropriate to simulate a low speed and a high speed target respectively.

  • In this paper, operation cost of the system is calculated by the probabilistic simulation method. And it is proved that only 20 iterative simulations are enough to get the result obtain by the Monte Carlo simulation method which requires more than 1000 iterative simulations. In the probabilistic simulation method we use the ranking of line contingency which is derived from the line countingency selection algorithm proposed in (2). In using this method the nature of the sparsity of the power system is used.

  • In this study, a simulation was used to derive an optimal process of heat treatment with carburizing, and compared the derived result with SCr420HB helical gear in heat treatment with carburized quenching process about a change of the quenching method. The optimal carburizing process time is derived by the simulation with the theoretical time. The process has been performed by oil quenching and salt quenching method. Through the comparison of the results from the simulation(Hardness, effective case depth hardened by carburizing treatment and deformation) and the actual process, analyzed the error value of each quenching. And it verified the applicability of the simulation.
