  • Spiral-jacketed thermal storage tanks can greatly simplify solar heating systems while maintaining the thermal performance at a similar level as conventional systems with an external heat exchanger. Proper design of the spiral-jacket flow path is essential to make the most of solar energy, and thus to maximize the thermal performance. In the present work, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was carried out for a spiral-jacketed storage tank installed in a solar heating demonstration system. The results of the CFD analysis showed a good agreement with experimentally determined thermal performance indices such as the acquired heat, collector efficiency, and mixed temperature in the storage tank. This verified CFD modelling approach can be a useful design tool in optimizing the shape of spiral-jacket flow path and the flow rate of circulating fluid for better performance.

  • With development of global network in the 21th century, Korea has recklessly accepted western culture occurred damages to our identity. Development of traditions in a modern way contribute us Korea identity and future vision. This study has studied about combination traditional material and contemporary material with a view to diversified user's desires and individuality. This object shows that function and decoration coexist together, and design reflects mans life and thinking of the age as a reflection of sociocultural phenomena. The purpose of this work to create the object that meets mans requirement and even foresees the possibility of such requirement through converting into various appearances. Different concepts including closed singleness and expansion within open structure coexist one element. also this objects suggest that transformative expressions that simplify or transform, the forms can be freely changed by consumer's emotional changes. Here, light and form are experimented for creating diversified emotions. Considering design as positively responding behavior against the limitations given by environment instead of the solution to simple functional requirement, future design will find Its value more In more active response.

닮은꼴을 이용한 영상구현 임계값설정과 정지영상 복원법 (Establishment Threshold Value of Image Realization & Reconstruction of Stoppage Image using Picture Resemblance)

  • 본 논문에서는 JPEG(Joint Photographic Experts Group)영상 디코더에서 영상데이타를 디코딩하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 종래의 정지영상 처리기에서는 허프만 코드화 처리를 하여 제1영상을 부호화한후 분할기반 부호화 방식의 연속영상 처리기법을 사용하였으나 작은화면의 코드화시에도 많은 계산 알고리즘이 필요하고 이미지의 닮음정도를 객관적수치로 표현할 수 없어서 비슷한 이미지를 중복 코드화 및 전송 작업을 하는 결함이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 이미지의 닮음정도를 수치화하고 기준값 이하의 영상은 코드화 작업을 하지않고 계산된 영상 변화값에 의해 구현된 영상으로 대체하여 저장 및 전송하도록 저장용량의 감축 및 시각적으로 전혀 거부감이 없는 정지영상을 구현하였다.

  • Scanning probe microscopy (SPM) has become an indispensable tool in efforts to develop the next generation of nanoelectronic devices, given its achievable nanometer spatial resolution and highly versatile ability to measure a variety of properties. Recently a new scanning probe microscope was developed to overcome the tip degradation problem of the classic SPM. The main advantage of this new method, called Reverse tip sample (RTS) SPM, is that a single tip can be replaced by a chip containing hundreds to thousands of tips. Generally for use in RTS SPM, pyramid-shaped diamond tips are made by molding on a silicon substrate. Combining RTS SPM with Scanning spreading resistance microscopy (SSRM) using the diamond tip offers the potential to perform 3D profiling of semiconductor materials. However, damage frequently occurs to the completed tips because of the complex manufacturing process. In this work, we design, fabricate, and evaluate an RTS tip chip prototype to simplify the complex manufacturing process, prevent tip damage, and shorten manufacturing time.

닮은꼴을 이용한 새로운 동영상 디코딩 처리방법 (New Moving Picture Decoding Process using Picture Resemblance)

  • 본 논문에서는 MPEG2(Moving Picture Expert Group 2)비디오 디코더에서 영상데이타를 디코딩하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 종래의 동여상 처리기에서는 허프만 코드화 처리를 하여 정지영상을 부호화한후 분할기반 부호화 방식의 동영상 처리기법을 사용하였으나 1프레임의 코드화시에도 많은 계산 알고리즘이 필요하고 이미지의 닮음정도를 객관적수치로 표현할 수 없으므로 비슷한 이미지를 중복 코드화 작업 및 전송 작업을 하는 결함이 있었다. 본 눈문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 이미지의 닮음정도를 수치화하고 기준값 이하의 영상은 코드화 작업을 하지않고 계산된 영상 변화값에 의해 구현된 영상으로 대체하여 저장 및 전송하도록 하여 시각적으로 전혀 거부감이 없는 동영상을 구현하였다.

WCO의 CDM과 UCR을 수용한 전자통관시스템 발전 방안 (A Study on Acceptance of CDM/UCR in WCO as e-Customs clearance procedures)

  • A single window platform must be successfully established by implementing CDM/UCR in WCO and UNeDocs in UN/CEFACT, which is part of the framework of standards for secure and facilitate global trade. Core success factors in single window platform for international trade depend on political innovative capacity, advanced leadership of high ranking officials and departments in charge, effective collaborations between the ministries and offices concerned which are supported by supreme executives, self-controlled coordinations between users, convenience and access availability to users, promotion and marketing, identification on predictive impediments, financial raising and revenue model payable, communication's strategy, valid legal basis etc. To settle a stable ubiquitous e-trade platform, firstly, procedures and practices of customs clearance which different from one another mutually must be standardized globally. Secondly, the international standard electronic data exchanges must be introduced to facilitate and simplify customs clearing procedures by holding administrative informations in common between public institutions. thirdly, cooperative work model must be accepted with enhancing outsourcing business between reference groups (export-import firms and IT service providers).

Numerical formulation of a new solid-layer finite element to simulate reinforced concrete structures strengthened by over-coating

  • Over-coating is one of the most popular engineering practices to strengthen Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures, due to the relative quickness and ease of construction. It consists of an external coat bonded to the outer surface of the structural RC element, either by the use of chemical adhesives, mechanical anchor bolts or simply mortar injection. In contrast to these constructive advantages, the numerical estimation of the bearing capacity of the strengthened reinforced concrete element is still complicated, not only for the complexity of modelling a flexible membrane or plate attached to a quasi-rigid solid, but also for the difficulties that raise of simulating any potential delamination between both materials. For these reasons, the standard engineering calculations used in the practice remain very approximated and clumsy. In this work, we propose the formulation of a new 2D solid-layer finite element capable to link a solid body with a flexible thin layer, as it were the "skin" of the body, allowing the potential delamination between both materials. In numerical terms, this "skin" element is intended to work as a transitional region between a solid body (modelled with a classical formulation of a standard quadrilateral four-nodes element) and a flexible coat layer (modelled with cubic beam element), dealing with the incompatibility of Degrees-Of-Freedom between them (two DOF for the solid and three DOF for the beam). The aim of the solid-layer element is to simplify the mesh construction of the strengthened RC element being aware of two aspects: a) to prevent the inappropriate use of very small solid elements to simulate the coat; b) to improve the numerical estimation of the real bearing capacity of the strengthened element when the coat is attached or detached from the solid body.

지방자치단체의 일하는 방식 혁신에 관한 연구 (Research on Innovation in the Way of Working of Local Governments)

  • 본 연구에서는 문재인 정부가 추진하고 있는 정부 혁신의 중요한 내용의 하나인 일하는 방식 혁신의 주요 전략 및 내용을 살펴보고, 특정 지자체의 사례를 중심으로 일하는 방식 혁신의 내용 및 성공요인을 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 업무간소화를 통해 일하는 방식을 혁신한 사례를 분석하고 있는데 연구대상이 된 지방자치단체는 2019년 행정안전부의 정부혁신 평가에서 우수한 평가를 받은 기관이다. 본 연구에서는 해당 지방자치단체의 직원들을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행하여 해당 기관의 업무간소화와 관련된 문제점 및 성과, 성공요인들을 살펴보았다. 업무간소화를 성공적으로 추진하기 위해서는 첫째, 조직구성원들의 변화에의 동참을 유도할 수 있도록 공감대를 형성하는 것이 매우 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 업무간소화라는 혁신 프로젝트에 조직구성원들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하기 위해서는 인사가점 등의 인센티브가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 조직의 변화를 유도하고 지원하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 중간관리자 및 최고관리자의 관심과 지원이 매우 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과를 통해 향후 공공부문의 일하는 방식 혁신을 위한 정책마련에 일조할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

지식표상모델을 활용한 개발자 및 사용자의 게임기획에 대한 불만족 해소방안 (Resolving the Game Design Discrepancy between the Game Designer and the Gamer by Employing a Knowledge Representation Model)

  • 2008년 게임백서에 의하면 게임 산업의 발전 속에서도 개발자 및 사용자의 게임기획에 대한 불만족 수치가 매년 높은 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 불만족을 해소하기 위해 게임기획의 작업방식과 사용자와의 피드백 방식을 수정하는 방법을 활용하고자 한다. 이를 위해 심성모형과 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 활용한 지식표상모델 개념을 고찰함으로써 개발자의 작업방식과 사용자와의 커뮤니케이션을 동시에 고려할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이 두 모델을 통해 기존의 게임기획을 피드백이 용이하도록 구조화함으로써 쉽게 적용하고 활용할 수 있는 개선방향을 제시할 수 있다.
