노인여성의 측면체형 분석 (An Analysis of the Somatotype of Elderly Women)

  • through Sid View Silhouette The purpose of this study was to pro-vide basic information for elderly women's clothing construction and to develop dress forms that can reflect the charac-teristics of their bodies. The subjects were 251 elderly women aged from 60 to 81. Data were collected from 34 photographic measurements of each subject and analyzed by factor analysis cluster analysis analysis of variance. The results were as follows: 1. A decrease in height the bustline drops as age increase. From a lateral view point most of the subjects have straight posture with protruding ab-domens but the somatotype gradually bends bends forward with age. 2) Five factors were extracted from photometric measurement which explain 81.0% of variance. 3 Through cluster analysis using 5 fac-tor scores four types were categorized. Type I was turning over somatotype Type II was swayback somatotype Type III was straight somatotype Type IV was bending somatotype according to its po-sition to the relative plumb liner and their side view contour.

여중생의 하반신 의복설계를 위한 체형분류 및 특성 (Characteristics and Classification of the Lower Body Somatotype for the Construction of Junior High School Girls' Clothing)

  • The effective construction for ready-made clothes is one of the central concerns of both consumers and manufactures in today's apparel industry. So in order to reduce the burden of stocks and increase clothing fitness, systematic information on typical body size and somatotypes is essential. This study was performed to provide fundamental data on junior high school girls' somatotype by classifying the lower body somatotype and analyzing the characteristics of each somatotype. The subject were 234 Korean Junior High School Girls. The subjects were directly measured anthropometrically and indirectly analyzed photographically. The result of factor analysis indicated that 6 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprise 70.2% of total variance. Using factor scores cluster analysis was carried out and the subject were classified into 3 cluster as their lower boby front and side silhouette.

  • The purpose of this study is to preview artistic presentation, factors of designing and ornamentation, to provide useful information to the wedding dress industry in developing consumer-oriented design of wedding dress. Also, this study is to investigate relativity between individual characteristics, such as demographic character and body figures, and preference of consumers, in order to learn if there is any pattern of consumers decision making, and to help consumers by giving tips for their wedding dress shopping. According to this study, I can see that when modern South-Korean adult women choose their wedding dress, they consider many factors just like silhouette, detail, fabric material and so on, then they select their own best dress by grasping their body characteristics.

  • A 27 year-old man, who had a penetrating cardiac injury due to a metal fragment was transferred to our hospital. At admission, his vital signs were stable, and his chest film showed a foreign-body-like finding in the heart silhouette. We evaluated the patient with chest computed tomography and echocardiography for further information. Finally, we removed the metal fragment from the left ventricle by using a cardiopulmonary bypass.

다변량분석법에 의한 측면전신체형 분류 (Classification and Analysis of the Somatotype through Side View Silhouette of the whole body by Multivariate Method)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the somatotype based on the side view and to analyze the characteristics of each somatotype. In order to reduce the burden of stocks and increase clothing fitness, systematic information on typical body sizes and somatotypes is essential. The subjects were 206 unmarried women aged from 19-29. Data were collected through anthropometry and photometry and analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis and analysis of variance. As the result of factor analysis for the classification of somatotypes, 8 factors which explain 74.7% of variance were extracted from 35 photometric and 17 anthrometric data. Using factor scores cluster analysis was carried out and the subjects were classified into 4 cluster.Each cluster was classified as bending type, swayback, turning over type and straight type accordding to its position to the relativeplumb line and their side view contour.

  • Information that is acquired by adhered sensors on a body has been commonly used for the three-dimensional real-time motion capture algorithm. This paper describes realtime motion capture algorithm using computer vision. In a real-time image sequence, human body silhouette is extracted use a background subtraction between background image and the reference image. Then a human standing posture whether forward or backward is estimated by extraction of skin region in the silhoutte.   • 국내 건설시장의 침체가 예상되는 상황에서 지속적으로 국내 중소엔지니어링 기업의 해외시장으로의 진출을 지원하기 위해 해외건설엔지니어링 정보시스템(OVICE)이 운영되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존 연구를 통해 수행된 전문가 설문조사를 통한 필요정보 우선순위와 정보시스템 사용자 통계를 비교하여 정보시스템의 정보제공 방향성을 제시하여 정보서비스 품질을 높이고자 하였다. 정보시스템의 이용 통계 분석에 있어서, 우선순위를 매기기 힘든 통계분석의 효율성을 높이기 위해 K-means Clustering 기법을 분석에 활용하였다. 그 결과 기존 설문결과와 정보시스템 이용 통계의 차이를 분석하여 정보시스템의 정보제공에서의 보완점과 함께 설문조사 과정에서 부각되지 않았던 중요한 콘텐츠를 찾아낼 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to generate a free viewpoint image using multi-viewpoint images which are taken by cameras arranged circularly. In past times, we have proposed the method to generate a free viewpoint image based on Ray-Space method. However, with that method, we can not generate a walk-through view seen from a virtual viewpoint among objects. The method we propose in this paper realizes the generation of such view. Our method gets information of the positions of objects using shape from silhouette method at first, and selects appropriate cameras which acquired rays needed for generating a virtual image. A free viewpoint image can be generated by collecting rays which pass over the focal point of a virtual camera. However, when the requested ray is not available, it is necessary to interpolate it from neighboring rays. Therefore, we estimate the depth of the objects from a virtual camera and interpolate ray information to generate the image. In the experiments with the virtual sequences which were captured at every 6 degrees, we set the virtual camera at user's choice and generated the image from that viewpoint successfully.

CNN-based Gesture Recognition using Motion History Image

  • In this paper, we present a CNN-based gesture recognition approach which reduces the memory burden of input data. Most of the neural network-based gesture recognition methods have used a sequence of frame images as input data, which cause a memory burden problem. We use a motion history image in order to define a meaningful gesture. The motion history image is a grayscale image into which the temporal motion information is collapsed by synthesizing silhouette images of a user during the period of one meaningful gesture. In this paper, we first summarize the previous traditional approaches and neural network-based approaches for gesture recognition. Then we explain the data preprocessing procedure for making the motion history image and the neural network architecture with three convolution layers for recognizing the meaningful gestures. In the experiments, we trained five types of gestures, namely those for charging power, shooting left, shooting right, kicking left, and kicking right. The accuracy of gesture recognition was measured by adjusting the number of filters in each layer in the proposed network. We use a grayscale image with 240 × 320 resolution which defines one meaningful gesture and achieved a gesture recognition accuracy of 98.24%.

가상 모델을 이용한 움직임 추출 알고리즘 (Movement Detection Algorithm Using Virtual Skeleton Model)

  • 본 논문에서는, 가상 모델을 이용한 움직임 추출 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 첫 번째, 기존에 제안된 방법으로써 RGB 칼라 모델을 이용하여 전경 영역에 나타나는 에러 값을 제거하고, HSI 칼라 모델을 이용하여 불필요한 정보 값을 제거한다. 두 번째, 사람 10명의 신체 구조비를 이용하여 가상 모델을 생성한다. 그 때, 생성된 가상 모델을 추출된 영역에 매칭시키고, 원 탐색 기법을 이용하여 전경영역의 실제 인간의 머리에 대한 얼굴 실루엣을 추출한다. 세 번째 추출된 정보들을 이용하여 mean-shift 알고리즘에 적용시켜 물체를 추적한다. 마지막으로, 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 복잡하고 다양한 환경에서 실험을 통해 그 응용 가능성을 증명한다.
