웹 그래픽에 나타난 수사적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Retorical Characteristic mentioned in The Web-Graphics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수사구조를 이용하여 웹 그래픽에 나타난 특성과 상호 관련성을 밝히고 이를 통해 언어구조에 제한하던 수사학의 활용 범위를 넓히는데 있다. 연구를 위해 네 가지 수사구조(은유, 환유, 제유, 아이러니)를 설정하여 흠 페이지의 웹 그래픽의 재료들을 중심으로 진행하였다. 개별적 그래픽의 특성을 파악하기 위해 기호학적 관점과 접근방법을 통해 분석, 해독하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 모색 할 수 있었다. · 웹 그래픽은 기호의 본질적 특성인 차이로 인한 기호화 작용에 관여한다. · 웹 그래픽은 서술구조에서 출발하여 상징화구조로 이어지며 이때 응축과 전이작용을 중심으로 해독의 실마리를 제공한다. · 웹 그래픽은 수사학적 코드를 활용하여 기저의미의 해석소를 제공하며 수용자의 인식과정에 작용한다.

  • In this study, interesting area of development is retro-reflective thin film and then slitting to form retro-reflective material to be conbined with other fibers to form having retro-reflective characteristics, which slitting yarn can then be to provide fabrics. Glass beads are microscopic spherical size with diameters ranging from several microns to several millimeters. Applying the effects of optical property, glass beads are consumed for road safety used to make traffic signs, safety clothing and others. Glass beads retro-reflective films can be turned into slit yarns through slitting yarn process. The slit yarns can be combined into textiles using diverse methods such as weaving to provide a fabric having retro-reflective characteristics. Lightness and Luminance was increased with decreasing of interval of slit yarn in the fabric. Also, the hue is shifted greenish and bluish with interval of slit yarn.

  • Purpose; This study was done to investigate the effect of foot reflexology on vital signs, general fatigue, foot fatigue, mood, and blood glucose levels in noninsulin dependent patients. Method: The Research design of this study was nonequivalent control group quasi-experimental design. 18 patients were assigned to the experimental group, 24 patients to the control group. The data were obtained diaberic patients with ambulatory endocrine outpatients clinic patients from 40 years old to 70 years old. Experimental groups received foot reflex massage for 30minutes three times/week every other days, and Control groups did not received foot reflex massage. The dependent variables were blood pressure, pulse rate, visual analogue scale for general fatigue, foot fatigue, mood, and blood sugar levels. Data were analyzed with $X^2$ test, t-test and repeated measure ANOVA at .0.05 level of significance. Results: There were significant difference in the pulse rate, general fatigue, foot fatigue and mood according to group and time between pre and post foot reflexology. But this research did not prove to decrease blood sugar levels. Conclusions : Foot reflexology can imorove pulse rate, general and foot fatigue, and mood status in diabetus patients. So further research need to explore the effect of decreasing of blood sugar levels.

Analyzing Factors Affecting Cognitive Function in the Elderly using Computerized Neurocognitive Tests

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the cognitive function in the elderly and to identify the influencing factors. Methods: The design of this study was descriptive research design. A total of 139 elderly people (aged 65 years and over) visiting the electroencephalogram (EEG) center in Seoul, Korea were evaluated. Data were assessed by self-administered questionnaires and CNS Vital Signs (CNSVS). Data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 23.0 for Windows. Results: There were significant differences in the Korean Mini-Mental State Examination (K-MMSE), executive functions and reasoning according to education level. K-MMSE, visual memory and executive functions were different depending on the jobs. Age was highly correlated with cognitive function. In addition, stepwise multiple regression analyses showed that the factor significantly associated with reaction time and visual memory was depression. Depression and Trait-Anxiety had significant impacts on executive functions and K-MMSE. Conclusion: CNSVS enabled the accurate and objective measurement of cognitive function. Therefore, this study provides useful data to improve cognitive function of the community-dwelling elderly. The results suggested that there is need for comprehensive interventional programs that manage cognitive impairment.

터널과 인터체인지 이격거리 설계기준에 관한 연구 (Design Guideline for Spacing between Tunnel and Interchange)

  • 터널 통과후 인터체인지가 위치하는 구간은 터널내 표지판의 설치가 불가능하며 터널 직후 시거가 불충분한 특성이 있다. 본 연구는 터널 통과후 인터체인지가 근접하여 위치하는 구간의 차량 운행특성을 분석하여, 교통안전을 고려한 적정 이격거리를 제시하였다. 터널과 인터체인지 이격구간의 차량 운행특성 지표는 사고율을 기준으로 하였으며, 총 3개 노선, 7개 지점에 대하여 1992년부터 1997년까지 교통사고자료, 교통량자료가 사용되었다. 터널과 인터체인지가 근접하여 위치하는 구간의 사고율과 이격거리와의 관계는 음의 로그함수형태, 즉 터널과 인터체인지의 이격거리가 짧을수록 높은 사고율을 보이며 이격거리가 길어지면 사고율이 줄어드는 형태를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 설계속도 100km/h, 편도 2차로인 고속도로에서 교통 안전을 고려시 터널과 인터체인지 적정 이격거리는 2.6km로 산출되었다.

  • 인간 친화적인 10진 계산을 위한 3초과 십진 가·감산기 회로를 제안한다. 십진 회로를 이용한 계산 시속도 문제는 carry lookahead (CLA) 회로를 이용하여 해결할 수 있다. 제안하는 3초과 십진수 가산기 설계에서는 CLA와 함께 보정회로 및 변환회로를 개선함으로서 지연시간을 줄일 수 있다. 3초과 코드를 사용함으로서 감산과정에서 가산기만을 사용하여 계산을 할 수 있다 이 3초과 십진 가ㆍ감산회로는 기존의 설계에 비하여 상당한 속도 개선효과를 얻게 해준다.

  • Most of fires are electric fires and 78.65% of those fires are caused by electric arc fault. This series arc fault can be caused not only by decrepit wire, pressed wire or contact badness etc. anywhere we use electricity. There are signs of heat release and flame discharge before the arc fire accident happens. This paper proposes a circuit topology for alarm system of series arc fault. We also verify the qualification of system through various arc fault simulator.

Temperature Stabilization of Group Index in Silicon Slotted Photonic Crystal Waveguides

  • In this paper, we have proposed a principle to design wideband, low dispersion and temperature stabilized slow light structure in slotted photonic crystal waveguide (SPCW). The infiltration of the silicon photonic crystal with polymer will enhance the slow light and increase the group index, whereas the different signs of thermo-optic coefficients of polymer and silicon make the proposed structure stable on temperature variation over $60^{\circ}C$ and improves the group index-bandwidth products of the designed structure. The SPCW structure is modified to maximize the slow light effect and minimize the dependence of the group index and hence the group velocity dispersion to temperature.

대학 정문에 나타난 기호와 상징의 유형 (Sign and Symbol Types Shown at the Main Gate of University in Korea)

  • The main gate of a university is a element of landscape which improves the quality of campus as well as demarcates the boundary and publicizes the image of university. Therefore, each university strives to differentiate its main gate from that of other universities with a unique form. This research investigates the signs and symbols shown at the university's main gate of 18 universities in Korea, and also presents useful design tips with the objective of bearing the spirit of the campus and its founding ideology. The results of this research as follows: Icons of Sign for 18 universities can be classified into five separate categories: things, human, animal, character, and metaphor. Examples of the 'things' icons include a pen nib, the sun, the cross, a big bell, and so on. Also, the meaning of the represented symbols can be grouped in three separate categories: university's development, contribution to society, and mining of knowledge. From the three category, university development symbol is the most likely to be used.

The common background of drawing style between cartoon and fashion illustration, is as follows; 1. A means of image communication through mass communication 2. Similarities as visual signs 3. The borderless of painting, illustration and cartoon. 4. Usage of common drawing expressions such as deformation, distortion, exaggeration, metaphor, metonymy. Drawing style interchanging between cartoon and fashion illustration, is as follows; 1. Similar to figure and face are contemporary style, similar figure, Anime style and humourous style. 2. Similar to the way of express is focusing on the line, simplification, mixed computer graphics with hand drawing, artistic expression, the way of multimedia.
