Interest and desire for analogue emotion increased with the dazzling development of digital technology. Especially, as analogue emotion got grafted in the design field, analysis through various expression media is being done. This study seeks to propose design of t-shirt using unique advantage of Hangeul calligraphy that can satisfy the modern flow and pattern design's various expressions. Calligraphy is being used in various fields such as advert, package, logo, movie poster, signboard, graphic design, calligraphy and abstract painting. Formative yet effective in readability and conveying meaning as it's expressed in letters, calligraphy is a field of attention with its contribution in extending the new design area. As a method of the study, altogether 8 pieces of t-shirts were proposed through related preceding research, literary research, co-work with calligraphy author, computer graphic program, and heat transfer. As such, the t-shirt designs which were created by suggesting various design and using traditional materials like calligraphy, can be used as novel and sensual factor, where one can get a glimpse at the potential of development as traditional fashion product.

전광판을 통해 이미지를 표시할 때 이미지를 구성하는 각 화소에 대응하는 도트들 별로, 모두 일정한 밝기로 색상을 출력하기 때문에 이미지 내에 다양한 색상이 포함되어 있는 경우, 상대적으로 밝은 색상이 어두운 색상보다 더 밝게 보이는 문제를 가지고 있다. 또한 기존의 전광판들은 전광판을 통해 글자를 표시할 때 글자의 크기에 관계없이 모두 일정한 밝기로 글자를 표시하기 때문에 상대적으로 작은 글자가 큰 글자에 비해 잘 보이지 않는 문제가 있다. 우리는 전광판을 통해 이미지를 표시할 때, 해당 이미지 내의 다양한 색상들에 따라 부분적으로 전광판의 각 도트들의 휘도를 서로 다르게 출력하고, 전광판을 통해 글자를 표시할 때, 글자의 크기 별로 휘도를 서로 다르게 출력함으로써, 전광판을 통해 표시되는 정보에 대한 가독성을 향상시킬 수 있는 RICS 시스템을 설계한다.

도시의 옥외광고는 정보전달매체로서의 역할 뿐만 아니라 그 시각적 표현은 도시미관을 형성 하는 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 따라서 현대의 간판은 한 지역의 사회적 문화적 수준을 판가름하는 척도로 인식될 만큼 그 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 또한 도시환경 속에서의 간판은 시민들이 항상 접하고 있는, 시민들의 삶의 질에 밀접하게 연관되어 있다. 간판은 이제 상점을 홍보하는 단순한 사물이 아니라 건물과 가로수, 광고의 내용물, 도시 시민들과의 유기적인 조화를 고려하여 만들어야 하는 도시환경구성의 주요 요소로서 접근해야 한다. 따라서, 부분적 요소인 간판을 통해 도시 미관과 환경을 효율적으로 조율하여 쾌적한 도시환경을 조성해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 중국, 장춘시 상업지역을 중심으로 사인보드의 실태를 수집분석하고 그에 따른 문제점을 연구하고 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

To find the best intagliated shape on edgelit signboard, it was prepared wilt variations of illumination by changing the depth and angle of an engraved letter, the thickness of acrylic panel and wavelength of light source in this paper. As the result of analyzing optical design program, shallower depth and larger than critical angle on a visible side of panel, a favorable illumination characteristics was found. Also considering those factors, it was able to select the model which showed effectively engraved letter.

사설안내표지판은 공공디자인의 영역으로 시민들의 편의를 돕고 도시미관을 고려해야 하지만 제도화된 디자인 규정이 없는 행정적인 문제와 관리 주체들의 인식 부족으로 무질서한 난립을 초래하여 도시 미관을 해치고 정보 혼란을 야기하는 주요 원인이 되고 있다. 이러한 문제로 서울시를 비롯한 각 지방 도시들은 사설안내표지판 디자인 관리지침을 만들어 개선사업을 진행하고 있으나 개선 후 안내표지판의 실질적인 디자인 만족도 검증의 연구가 부족한 실정이었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사설안내표지판의 디자인 관리지침을 만들어 개선 사업을 실시한 대전시를 중심으로 개선 후 표지판의 시각요소, 정보전달, 도시 가로환경에 대한 디자인 만족도에 대해 조사하고 분석해보았다. 분석 결과 시각요소, 정보전달, 도시 가로환경의 모든 항목에서 개선 후 디자인의 만족도가 높게 나타나 긍정적인 평가를 받는 것으로 판단되며 사설안내표지판 디자인 만족도의 실증적 조사에 의의가 있다고 사료된다.

서울시 지하철 객실에 설치된 안내전광판은 현재 한국어·영어·중국어·일본어 4개 국어로 역사와 전동차 내 설치된 LCD 모니터를 통해 주요 정보나 운행정보를 알리는 안내방송을 실시하고 있다. 하지만, 지하철 객차 안내 화면이 운행 정보보다 광고를 더 비중 있게 표시하는 탓에 이용자들이 혼란을 겪고 있다. 연구 방법으로는 현재 서울 지하철에 설치된 안내전광판의 현황과 문제점을 파악하고 개선된 새로운 안내전광판 시안을 제시해 서울시 지하철을 주로 이용하는 이용객 10대부터 60대까지 67명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 탑승한 노선마다 화면 디자인이 달라 필요한 정보만을 제공하는 안내전광판 통일이 필요하다. 특히 이용객이 각지에서 이동하기 위해 지하철을 여러 번 환승하므로 안내전광판 디자인은 광고전광판이 아닌 긴급 재난안내나 승하차 정보의 기능을 해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a new direction for color schemes of city signages to provide psychological stability to business owners and improve business value. Types of city sign color schemes and Feng Shui awareness of business owners were examined. Color schemes for signs were proposed, reflecting city landscape colors, color perception theory, and the Feng Shui Sangsaeng Sanggeuk theory. Results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, in order to secure colorscape quality of existing city buildings, signs should be small and consist of only three or fewer colors. Second, existing signage colors and the Feng Shui ideas of business owners have something in common with the five traditional cardinal colors. Thus, it can be interpreted that Feng Shui ideas are deeply rooted in the color use awareness of the Korean people. Third, background colors of signages can reflect the idea of innate Sangsaeng according to the Bonmyeonggung of business owners. The concept of acquired Sanggeuk can also be applied to other design elements such as characters. Fourth, as a second choice according to the function of sign, city landscape or preference of business owner, etc., the background color can remain a color of Sangsaeng, while other design elements such as characters can use a color scheme corresponding to Bihwasaek. Fifth, signs can create a statement and stand out using lightness contrast or saturation contrast theories. A variety of sign color schemes are also possible just by altering the lightness and saturation levels.

최근 들어 지방자치제 활성화 방침과 더불어 도시의 특성화가 활발해지고 있다. 도시의 이미지를 만들기 위해서는 가로 경관이 절대적인 요인이 된다고 볼 수 있고, 또한 많은 가로가 이러한 목적을 가지고 디자인되어지고 있다. 가로경관을 특성화하는 데는 여러 요인이 포함되나, 그 중 파사드(가로입면)는 가장 일차적인 요소이다. 본 연구의 목적은 각 지역의 바람직한 특성으로 정체성을 확보하는 방안을 찾아내기 위함이고, 이를 위하여 지역별 가로의 입면이 조사분석 되었다. 조사대상 지역으로는 가로의 기능과 성격이 서로 상이하여 가로의 특성화가 나타날 것이라 예상되는 전통가로지역(서울, 종로구, 인사동), 아파트 주거단지 상가지역(서울, 강남구, 압구정동), 개발 신도시지역(대전, 서구, 둔산동)을 선정하였고, 이들 각 지역의 조사 분석된 건물입면 요소는 창문, 입구, 사인물, 쇼윈도우, 출입문, 차양 등이며, 각 요소별로 색상, 재질, 형태, 구조 등의 유형분석이 이루어졌다.

An embedded monitoring and control system which can be controlled and monitored with web, was implemented in this paper. The principal data which should be controlled are the present temperature and pH of a fish farm. The input signals are from temperature sensors and pH sensors. The input data are digital which are A/D converted every constant time, and the results are stored to the database. The converted data are displayed on a large electric signboard at the fish-farm. This system was designed that supervisors can control the system and watch the real situation of the fish-farm at remote places.

광고물 설계도면을 실제적으로 수업하려면, 대상물인 옥외광고물의 실제에 대해 개괄적인 지식을 먼저 다뤄야 한다. 설계도면에 표시하는 다양한 소재와 가공방법, 제작과정에 따른 요소의 배치 등을 이해하고 실습하려면, 현장의 광고물 제작과정을 이해하고 실물모형을 활용할 수 있는 것이 바람직하다. 옥외광고분야에 대한 전문실무기술서적이 매우 미흡한 실정에서 현장기반의 수업매체로서 옥외광고물의 제작과정 및 사용소재 등을 사진자료로 준비하고, 실물모형을 제작, 활용하고자 하였다.
