East Japan Railway Company developed an digital ATC signalling system instead of conventional ATC system and now is making progress the construction tokyo area Keihin-Tohoku Line between Minamiurawa and Tsurumi. But replacing into new system with existing ATC system in operation should be performed without affecting current running system and the technology that makes it possible for current system and new system to coexist, initialization of system, preparation for an emergency should be organized not to affect overall system. Controlling method of digital ATC signalling system and "assurance technique" for solving the problems when replacing will be mentioned in this paper.

The accidents in a railway level crossing where passengers or vehicles pass on the track went through by the train with a inherent high rate on incidents lead to a vast economic damage on people and material resources. So, many protection equipments are placed on the railway crossing to prevent those kind of accidents. But there is a limit to control driver's rough activity, passenger's careless or an intentional accident. This study is trying to ensure the safety in railway crossing by providing the information on train's speed and expected passing time on the railroad to a road traffic control system or car driver. Additionally, this system has been studying the railway level crossing system concerning ITS to support harmonious traffic flow.

This paper present investigation of interoperable process and interaction-facts between urban and new ATS signalling system for degrading, improvement or replacement in wireless communication-based train control system of urban driverless transit, and investigate interoperable requirement from joint program of cooperation-"wireless communication-based train control system's standard process construction and performance evaluation on urban transit" of first year result.

SS(Signalling System) No.7 신호 방식은 통신망 내의 각 노드들 간에 공통적으로 별도의 채널을 이용하여 회선관련 신호 정보 및 비회선 관련 신호 정보를 교환하는 신호방식이다. SS No.7 신호 방식의 각 계위 프로토콜 중에서 비회선 관련 신호 정보를 교환하기 위하여 상위 프로토콜로 TC(Transaction Capabilities)와 TC-User들을 CCITT에서 권고하고 있다. 본 고에서는 국내에 도입할 SS No.7 신호방식의 하위 프로토콜인 SCCP (Signalling Connection Control Part)와 MTP(Message Transfer Part) 프로토콜의 특성에 따른 TC 및 TC-User 프로토콜의 설계시에 고려되어야 할 사항들을 살펴본다.

This paper has been studied a interworking signalling protocol between two hybrid networks by analyzing Satellite B-ISDN architecture, DSS2 Layer 3 Signalling protocol B-ISUP protocol, S-BISUP protocol stack and so on. Also in the paper, messages and primitives have been defined for B-ISDN's Connection Type, Ownership and each protocol in order to connect point-to-multipoint. And then this paper has designed basic call procedures for OBP Satellite B-ISDN NNI inter-working protocol, verified and implemented them.

Tylosin biosynthesis is controlled in cascade fashion by multiple transcriptional regulators, acting positively or negatively, in conjunction with a signalling ligand that acts as a classical inducer. The roles of regulatory gene products have been characterized by a combination of gene expression analysis and fermentation studies, using engineered strains of S. fradiae in which specific genes were inactivated or overexpressed. Among various novel features of the regulatory model, involvement of the signalling ligand is not essential for tylosin biosynthesis.

신호망에서의 지연은 망관리 행위의 응답시간에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 모든 제어정보는 가장 효과적으로 전송되어야 한다. 신호망이 효율적으로 운용되는지 뿐만 아니라 신호망의효과적인 설계를 위해서 신호시스템의 성능을 아는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 공통선 신호 시스템의 신호망 기능부의 지연 성능을 분석하였다. 분석은 ITU-T 규격을 기반으로 다른 계층의 프로토콜에 독립적인 큐잉모델을 만들어 대기체계분석을 통하여 이루어졌다. 또한 신호망 기능부가 신호 메시지 처리부와 신호망 관리부로 나누어져 구성되는 것도 고려하여 모델링하였다.

Recently, there are increasing social needs for safe operation of trains and comforting for passengers. But lightning surges are responsible for serious disturbances such as damage, permanent degradation or temporary erratic operation of sensitive electronics circuits and systems. The purpose of this paper is to identify the requirements for Surge Protective Devices(SPDs) used in protecting railway signalling system. In this paper, we describes tests and requirements which establish methods for testing SPDs and determining their performance.
