근육피로도를 고려한 하반신 마비환자의 보행 자동제어 FES 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Automatic FES Control System for Paraplegic Walking Against Muscle Fatigue)

  • In this paper, a DSP and microcomputer-based EMG controlled functional electrical stimulation (FES) system, for restoring walking of paraplegics at the patients' own command, is presented. The above-lesion EMG is a time-varying nonstationary signal and its autoregressive (AR) parameters are identified by the nonstationary identification algorithm using a DSP chip. The identified AR parameters are used for the cloassification of the function and the control of the movement. The below-lesion response-EMG signal is used as a measure of muscle fatigue. This FES system is designed to measure muscle fatigue and control the stimulation intensity according to the amplitude of the response-EMG signal. While the automatic electrical intensity control is obtained by identifying the movement, the proposed FES system is suitable for the automatic control of paraplegic walking.

CNC 밀링머신 이송장치의 오차유형 및 정상상태 오차해석에 의한 제어기 설계 (Controller Design by Error Shape and Steady-State Error Analysis for a Feed Drive System in CNC Milling Machine)

  • This paper deals with the position control fur a feed drive system in CNC milling machine, which utilizes a modified error signal for the elimination of steady-state error. A linear time-invariant (LTI) system has consistent properties in response to standard test signal inputs. Those also appear in an error curve acquired from the response. From such properties, constructed is an error model for the position control of the feed drive. And then added is the output of the error model to the current error signal. Consequently the resulting proportional control system brings performance improvement in view of the steady-state error. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is confirmed through simulations and experiments.

  • 저궤도 인공위성 전력계 시스템의 설계 및 해석을 위한 태양전지 전력조절기의 대신호 안정도해석을 수행한다. 태양전지 전력조절기에서 제어가능한 모든 방법에 따른 태양전지에서 바라본 태양전지 전력조절기의 부하특성을 분류하고, 상태공간해석을 이용하여 태양전지 시스템의 대신호적 안정도를 해석한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 태양전지 전력조절기의 부하특성을 정전력부하에서 정저항부하로 변환하여 대신호적인 안정도를 확보하는 비선형변환을 제안한다. 제안된 변환기법을 통해 최대전력점 추적제어나 배터리 충전제어 및 전류분배제어가 가능한 병렬 모듈 태양전지 레귤레이터에 적합한 단일 전류 제어기를 구성한다. 제안된 대신호 해석과 저항제어를 검증하기위해, 200W급 태양전지와 100W급 태양전지 전력조절기 두 모듈을 병렬로 구성하여 실험하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 생체인식(Biometric)을 이용하여 Access Control System을 구현하였다. Biometric 는 생체 인식 또는 생체 측정학으로 사람의 생체적, 행동적 특성을 이용하여 개인을 식별하는 학문 또는 기술이다. Access Control System은 개인을 식별 출입과 근태, 개인 관리, 보안 둥에 사용하는 System으로 Biometric System과 접목으로 편리성과 보안성에서 탁월한 효과를 발휘할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 기존의 RF Card System에 Wiegand(Data format) Signal 출력으로 기존 RF Card Reader대신 Access Control (Security) System을 구성할 수 있도록 설계되었고 컴퓨터와 RS-232, RS-422 또는 Tcp/Ip로 구성되어 Software상에서 임베이디드 System을 Control 할 수 있게 되어 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 생체인식(Biometric)을 이용하여 Access Control System을 구현하였다. Biometrics는 생체인식 또는 생체 측정학으로 사람의 생체적, 행동적 특성을 이용하여 개인을 식별하는 학문 또는 기술이다.   • We present a new technological concept named RCP (Robotic Cellular Phone), which combines RT and CP. That is an ubiquitous robot. RCP consists of 3 sub-modules, RCP Mobility, RCP interaction, and RCP Integration. RCP Interaction is the main focus of this paper. It is an interactive emotion system which provides CP with multi-emotional signal receiving functionalities. RCP Interaction is linked with communication functions of CP in order to interface between CP and user through a variety of emotional models. It is divided into a tactile, an olfactory and a visual mode. The tactile signal receiving module is designed by patterns and beat frequencies which are made by mechanical-vibration conversion of the musical melody, rhythm and harmony. The olfactory signal receiving module is designed by switching control of perfume-injection nozzles which are able to give the signal receiving to the CP-called user through a special kind of smell according to the CP-calling user. The visual signal receiving module is made by motion control of DC-motored wheel-based system which can inform the CP-called user of the signal receiving through a desired motion according to the CP-calling user. In this paper, a prototype system is developed far multi-emotional signal receiving modes of CP. We describe an overall structure of the system and provide experimental results of the functional modules.

  • We propose a intelligent controller for FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission System) device to stabilize a power system. In order to identify the nonlinear characteristics of the power system and to estimate a control signal, an artificial neural network is utilized. The control signal which is provided for FACTS device installed in the network is produced. The proposed controller is applied to Unified Power Flow Controller(UPFC) to verified the effectiveness of the proposed control system. The results show that the proposed nonlinear FACTS controller is able to enhance the transient stability of three machine nine bus power system.

  • The subsystems of HSR train control system in each country has developed and operated till early 2000, however 2001/16/EC ERTMS is issued for inter-operability among European train control systems in 2001. So it is trend that ERTMS/ETCS has been applied to not only low-speed train system but high-speed train system over 300km/h in many countries of Europe. According to the government policies of the Honam HSR, metropolitan HSR and test lines, incoming on-board signal control system has been required caused by speed limit to 160km/h on the ground signal system. As ETCS-Level 1 system has applied in our railways from 2003, so our train control system has depended on foreign technologies. In this paper, we analyzed to localize train control system for being ready to protect foreign policies and obtaining core technologies of HSR train control system for instance ETCS-Level2.

  • An integrated Robot control system for SCARA robot is developed. The system consists of an off-line programming(OLP), software and a robot controller using four digital signal processor(TMS32OC50). The OLP has functions of teaching task, dynamic simulator, three dimensional animation, and trajectory planning. To develop robust dynamic control algorithm, a new sliding mode control algorithm for the robot is proposed. The trajectory tracking performance of these algorithm is evaluated by implementing to SCARA robot(SM5 type) using DSP controller which has conventional PI-FF control algorithm. To make SCARA robot operate according to off-line teaching, an interface between OLP and robot controller in the integrated system is designed. To demonstrate performance of the integrated system, the proposed control algorithm is applied to the system.
