We had investigated combustion properties of natural textile dusts. Decomposition properles of natural textile dusts scavenged by precipitator of spinning factoη were investigated using D DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimeter) and TGA(Thermogravimetric Analysis) by temperature c changes. Combustion pro야rties of natural textile according to size distribution and amount were c checked as temperature variation according to time using spontan$\infty$us ignition apparatus. M Moreover, combustion properties with blowing or without blowing condition were checked in order to investigate combustion prope$\pi$ies in spontaneous ignition apparatus according to flow c condition of air. As results of thermal analyses, increase in r머sing tern야:rature causes initial smold벼ng t temperature to move towards low temperature section 뻐d i띠디떠 smoldering temperature was d de$\sigma$eased more remarkably in atmosphere than in inert gas and that condition allowed heating v value to increase considerably. In addition, as amount and size distribution of natural textile d dusts were increased, i띠ti머 smoldering temperature was lowered. All of combustion forms were s smoldering combustion. Initial smold밍ing temperature was low more slightly with blowing c condition than without blowing condition in sp$\alpha$ltaneoUS ignition apparatus, which condition m made heatim;!; value high.
The segregation (distribution) of nickel and the composition of its constituents influence the low thermal expansion characteristics (Invar effect) in Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xC Invar alloy. The change of coefficient of the thermal expansion and magnetic properties were studied as an aspect of carbon addition causing the segregation of Ni in primary austenite of as-cast Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co Invar alloy. The coefficient of thermal expansion of Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xC Invar alloy showed its lowest value at 0.08 wt.% carbon, increased with increasing carbon content in the range of 0.08-1.0 wt.%C, kept constant at 1.0-2.0 wt.%C and decreased at carbon higher than 2.0 wt.%. The effective distribution of the coefficient of nickel in as-cast Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xC Invar alloy increased with increasing carbon content. The volume fraction of they phase of Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xC alloy increased with increasing carbon content. The microstructure of Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xC alloy changed with the carbon content was independent of the coefficient of thermal expansion. The Curie temperature changed linearly with the carbon content and was similar to the change of the coefficient of thermal expansion. Moreover, the coefficient of thermal expansion decreased when the ratio of saturation magnetization to Curie temperature ($\sigma_s/T_c$) increased, decreasing the Curie temperature and showed a specific relationship with the magnetic properties of the Fe-30 wt.% Ni-12.5 wt.% Co-xCInvar alloy.
UWISH2 (UKIRT Widefield Infrared Survey for $H_2$) is an unbiased, narrow-band imaging survey of the Galactic plane in the $H_2$ 1-0 S(1) emission line at $2.122{\mu}m$ using the Wide-Field Camera (WFCAM) at the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT). The survey covers about 150 square degrees of the first Galactic quadrant ($10^{\circ}$ < l < $65^{\circ}$; $-1.3^{\circ}$ < b < $+1.3^{\circ}$). The images have a $5{\sigma}$ detection limit of point sources of K~18 mag and the surface brightness limit is $10^{-19}\;W\;m^{-2}$$arcsec^{-2}$. The survey operation began on 28 July 2009 and has completed on 17 August 2011. We have been studying the supernova remnants (SNRs) in the UWISH2 survey area. Among the known 274 Galactic SNRs, the survey area includes 65 SNRs or 24 percent of the known SNRs. The wide-field and high-quality UWISH2 images allow us to identify both the diffuse extended and compact $H_2$ emission associated with SNRs, which is useful for understanding their physical environment and evolution. The continuum is subtracted from the narrow-band $H_2$ images using the K-band continuum images obtained as part of the UKIDSS GPS (UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey of the Galactic Plane). So far, we have inspected 42 SNRs, and found distinct H2 emission in 14 SNRs. The detection rate is 33%. Some of the SNRs show bright, complex, and interesting structures that have never been reported in previous studies. In this report, we present our identification scheme and preliminary results.
NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) makes vehicle manufacturer improve safety performance through free competition and customers guarantee vehicle selection by providing information of vehicle safety. That's why it is important not only to meet the regulation, but also to cope with NCAP. EuroNCAP(European New Car Assessment Program) side tests have conducted by using Progressive MDB and Euro SID II in order to reproduce crash test between two vehicles over 10 years. However various researches report that Progressive MDB and Euro SID II do not reflect evolving vehicle design, impact performance and biofidelity of human. Therefore EuroNCAP has the plan to conduct AE-MDB side crash test using WorldSID which is more evolved from 2015 by replacing Progressive MDB and EuroSID II. Automobile manufacturers need to develop safety performance for new test closely. This paper is to find test set-up parameters which affect into dummy injury instead of restraint system and to research on its tendency. It is processed with mini and small car to know influence as changing vehicle size and also analyzed by DFSS(Design for six sigma) which is one of optimization tools. DFSS is vaildated by simulating CAE with L18 orthogonal array of 6 control factors adjustable as EuroNCAP requirement.
The reaction of N,N-diethyl carbamates of 1H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-1-ol (4-HOAt) 7, 3H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-3-ol (7-HOAt) 8, 1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-ol (HOBt) 9, 6-chloro-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-ol (Cl-HOBt) 10, 6-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-ol ($CF_3$-HOBt) 11, and 6-nitro-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-ol ($NO_2$-HOBt) 12 with morpholine and piperidine in $CH_3CN$ underwent acyl nucleophilic substitution to give the corresponding carboxamide derivatives. The reactants and products were identified by elemental analysis, IR and NMR. We measured the kinetics of these reactions spectrophotometrically in $CH_3CN$ at a range of temperatures. The rates of morpholinolysis and piperidinolysis were found to fit the Hammett equation and correlated with $\sigma$-Hammett values. The values were 1.44 - 1.21 for morpholinolysis and 1.95 - 1.72 for piperidinolysis depending on the temperature. The $Br{\phi}$nsted-type plot was linear with a $\beta_lg = -0.49 \pm 0.02$ and $-0.67 \pm 0.03$. The kinetic data and structure-reactivity relationships indicate that the reaction of 9-12 with amines proceeds by a concerted mechanism. The deviation from linearity of the correlation ${\Delta}H^#$ vs. ${\Delta}S^#$ and plot of $logk_{pip}$ vs. $logk_{morph}$ and $Br{\phi}$nsted-type correlation indicate that the reactions of amines with carbamates 7 and 8 is attributed to the electronic nature of their leaving groups.
Pseudo-first-order rate constants ($k_{obsd}$) have been measured spectrophotometrically for the reactions of Y-substituted-phenyl benzoates (5a-j) with potassium ethoxide (EtOK) in anhydrous ethanol at $25.0{\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$. The plots of $k_{obsd}$ vs. [EtOK] curve upward regardless of the electronic nature of the substituent Y in the leaving group. Dissection of $k_{obsd}$ into the second-order rate constants for the reactions with the dissociated $EtO^-$ and ion-paired EtOK (i.e., $k_{EtO^-}$ and $k_{EtOK}$, respectively) has revealed that the ion-paired EtOK is more reactive than the dissociated $EtO^-$. The Br${\phi}$nsted-type plots for the reactions with the dissociated $EtO^-$ and ion-paired EtOK exhibit highly scattered points with ${\beta}_{lg}$ = -$0.5{\pm}0.1$. The Hammett plots correlated with ${\sigma}^o$ constants result in excellent linear correlations, indicating that no negative charge develops on the O atom of the leaving Y-substituted-phenoxide ion in transition state. Thus, it has been concluded that the reactions with the dissociated $EtO^-$ and ion-paired EtOK proceed through a stepwise mechanism, in which departure of the leaving group occurs after the RDS, and that $K^+$ ion catalyzes the reactions by increasing the electrophilicity of the reaction center through a four-membered cyclic TS structure.
Objectives : In this study, water extracts from Coix lachryma-jobi Linne var. mayuen Stapf. were investigated for their effects on insulin-like action and glucose uptake in 3T3-Ll cells. Methods : We examined the effects of insulin-like action on the differentiation of 3T3-Ll fibroblasts. The Coicis Semen was treated with hot water and the extract was freeze-dried. The hot water extract was chromatographed on nonionic polymer resin (Amberlite XAD-4, Sigma) with distilled water (Fr. 1), 20% (Fr. 2), 40% (Fr. 3), 60% (Fr. 4), 80% (Fr. 5), and 100% EtOH (Fr. 6), successively. Results : Total extract of Coicis Semen was fractionated into 0 to 100% MeOH with Amberlite XDA-4 column. Treatment of cells with $10{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/ml$ of total extracts of Coicis Semen significantly increased the differentiation (p<0.05). At $1{\;}\mu\textrm{g}/ml$ level of insulin, the differentiation was accelerated (p<0.01). The effect of extracts plus insulin on the differentiation was greater than that of insulin alone. In 3T3-Ll adipocytes, glucose uptake was higher by 2.7 times with 5 uM of total extract in low dosage of insulin (3 ng/ml) than without total extract. 5 and 50 uM of water and 40% MeOH fractions increased glucose uptake by 3.5 times in 3T3-Ll adipocytes (p<0.00l). Conclusions : Coicis Semen contains compounds which playa role of insulin-like action and insulin sensitizer.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate shear parameters on cutting slope of weathered granite soils by using small dynamic cone penetration test on the very moment of its cutting. The results were : On the relations among N$\_$c/, Li, and CEC, the condition of Li>6%, CEC>14(meq/100g) corresponds to that of N$\_$c/ values of 2∼30, and 3<CEC<14(meq/100g) to N$\_$c/=30∼50. Comparing the smallest penetration depth from two small dynamic cone penetration tests done at 5m below from the top of the slope on April 15th, October 31t. there was a l0cm difference. So we could find out the degree of weathering on the slope. And dividing the difference by 190 days (the whole testing time), we could know it's being weathered 0.052mm each day. The more N. value increases, the more shear parameters(internal friction angle ; $\phi$, cohesion : c) increase at a standard pressure($\sigma$>32㎪). So the condition of N$\_$c/=2∼50 corresponds to that of $\phi$=27∼50, c=12∼49㎪. From the above testing results, the N$\_$c/ values more correspond to $\phi$ values than c values. In conclusion, this study suggests that on small dynamic cone penetration test a penetration boundary line of 5 centimeters is decided at around Li=4%, CEC=3(meq/100g) which is classified as a strong weathering soil. It also shows that as Li increases CEC increases as well, while N$\_$c/ decreases.

The influencing factors on the OPC (optical proximity correction) results are quantitatively analyzed using OPCed L/S patterns. ${\sigma}$ values of proximity variations are measured to be 9.3 nm and 15.2 nm for PR-A and PR-B, respectively. The effect of post exposure bake condition is assessed. 16.2 nm and 13.8 nm of variations are observed. Proximity variations of 11.6 nm and 15.2 nm are measured by changing the illumination condition. In order not to seriously deteriorate the OPC, these factors should be fixed after the OPC rules are extracted. Proximity variations of 11.4, 13.9, and 15.2 nm are observed for the mask mean-to-targets of 0, 2 and 4 nm, respectively. The decrease the OPC grid size from 1 nm to 0.5 nm enhances the correction resolution and the OCV is reduced from 14.6 nm to 11.4 nm. The enhancement amount of proximity variations are 9.2 nm corresponding to 39% improvement. The critical dimension (CD) uniformity improvement for adopting the small grid size is confirmed by measuring the CD uniformity on real SRAM pattern. CD uniformities are measured 9.9 nm and 8.7 nm for grid size of 1 nm and 0.5 nm, respectively. 22% improvement of the CD uniformity is achieved. The decrease of OPC grid size is shown to improve not only the proximity correction, but also the uniformity.

Tetrathiafulvalene(TTF) reacts with $PdCl_2,Pd(NO_3)_2$ and $Pd(hfacac)_2$(hexafluoroacetylacetonate) in ethanol to give $(TTF)_{1.5}PdCl_2$ (1a), $(TTF)_3Pd(NO_3)_2$ (1b) and $(TTF)_4Pd(hfacas)_2$ nd (1c), respectively. $PdCl(TCNQ)_{2.5}{\cdot}CH_3OH(2a)$was obtained from the reaction of $PdCl_2$ with LiTCNQ in methanol via the partial replacement of $Cl^-$ in $PdCl_2$ by $TCNQ^-$anion, whereas the total substitution of the labile $NO_3^-$ in $Pd(NO_3)_2$ yielded pd(TCNQ)·$CH_3OH$ (2b). $Pd(hfacac)_2(TCNQ)_2\cdot3CH_3OH$ (2c) was obtained from $Pd(hfacac)_2$ and LiTCNQ in methanol. The prepared compounds were characterized by spectroscopic (IR, UV, XPS) methods and magnetic (EPR, magnetic susceptibility) studies. The powdered electrical conductivities (${\sigma}_{rt}$) of the prepared compounds at room temperature were about~$10^{-7}S{\cdot}cm^{-1}$. The effective magnetic moments were lass than the spin-only value of one unpaired electron and no EPR signals from Pd metal ions were observed in any of the compounds, indicating that the Pd ions were diamagnetic and the magnetic moments arose from$(TTF)_n$ or $(TCNQ)_n$ moieties. The experimental evidences revealed that the charge transfer had occurred form $(TTF)_n$ moiety to the central Pd metal ion in 1a, 1b and 1c. Thus the TTF donors were ions in 2a and 2b were diamagnetic Pd(II) oxidation state. In contrast, the Pd metal ion was oxidized to Pd(IV) state in 2c as a result of an addition of $TCNQ^-$anion to $Pd(hfacac)_2$ in methanol. The oxidation states of the Pd metal ions were confirmed using the x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
