Determinants of Store Loyalty for the Internet Fashion Shopping Malls: Self-Image, Perceived Risk, and Conformity (인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰의 점포 충성 결정 요인: 자기 이미지, 위험 지각, 동조)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of store loyalty for the Internet fashion shopping malls. As determinants, this study included self-image, perceived risk, and conformity. This study hypothesized that positive self-image influences the Internet fashion shopping mall loyalty through perceived risk and conformity. Regarding the relationship between perceived risk and conformity, this study hypothesized that perceived risk positively influences conformity. Using convenience sampling method, data were gathered by surveying university students living in Seoul. Two hundred forty four questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis, and factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using structural equation modeling in analyzing data. The results showed that positive self-image significantly influenced the internet fashion shopping mall loyalty indirectly by influencing perceived risk. The results also showed that perceived risk positively influenced conformity which positively influenced the internet fashion shopping mall loyalty.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and test a model that explains the effect of experiential marketing factors on: 1) brand image, 2) satisfaction, and 3) loyalty in context of restaurants located in complex shopping mall. In addition, the study clarified how these variables relate to each other. Survey were distributed to customers who have visiting experience(s) in a restaurants in complex shopping mall. Total 360 participants were distributed and 344 questionnaires were used for analysing. The confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling(SEM) have been employed research methods for frequency analysis, reliability analysis and measurement model validation. The findings of this study identified that relation factor of experiential marketing elements was only significant factor on brand image Furthermore, sense and recognition were critical components of customer satisfaction. Last, present study also identified the significant relationship between satisfaction and customer loyalty. These findings may contribute to provide valuable marketing strategic for this business segmentation, and it can be utilized as a fundamental study to establish an efficient business plan to increase revenue especially for restaurant business located in complex shopping mall.

Self-image as a Component of 'Theory of Planned Behavior' for Prediction of Indian Mall Patronage Intention

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine the Indian consumers'mall shopping patronage with the application of theory of planned behavior (TPB). The research intends to extend the TPB components (attitude, self-efficacy, subjective norms) with the addition of self-image and study their effect on Indian consumers' mall patronage intention. Research design, data and methodology - The research employed factor analysis to verify correct loading of items on corresponding factors and to confirm the applicability of constructs in the Indian context. The model was tested using stepwise regression analysis. Results -The results indicate a positive relationship between self-efficacy and intention to mall patronage. The findings show that self-image, attitude, self-efficacy, subjective norm significantly influence the mall patronage intention. Self-efficacy, which signifies self-competence and confidence in one's ability as a mall shopper indicates that as the self-efficacy increases Indian consumers' will eventually patronize malls. Conclusions - Self-image congruency plays a salient role in predicting mall-shopping patronage. The mall management should ensure that the mall marketing strategies incorporate it along with the other components of TPB to warrant decent footfall.

  • The current study investigates e-CRM, Shopping-mall Image, Perceived Value, Immersion, Satisfaction, Purchase Intention in the Fashion e-Commerce. The e-CRM(Customer Relationship Management) was applied to see the effect on the relation quality toward the fashion shopping-mall via relation performance. To fulfill the study objectives, a total of 521 questionnaires(Korean 278 vs, American 243) were conducted to the customers with first-hand experience with fashion merchandise in Internet shopping-mall. The judgement sampling method was employed on sample population ages from 20s to 40s over two month period. The result showed that purchase intention of an individual differs by consumer type and different factors affect purchase intention of the fashion merchandise for each consumer type.

  • This article is about the naming method for fashion product in cyber shopping mall. For two months, the name of fashion product is listed and analyzed, from BEST 100 category in cyber shopping mall. SPSS ver.10.0 is used and frequency, spearman raw test and t-test are done. The fashion product names are arranged in naming method. There are four kinds of methods for fashion product naming; describing, associating, bundling and style numbering. Describing is most used method both cyber shopping mall. Between marketplace cyber shopping mall and merchant, there is significant difference in composition of naming. Bundling naming method is more used in marketplace cyber shopping mall, and describing and style numbering method is used often in merchant. The words which are composed the name of fashion product are divided in a single word and arranged. The words for describing are classified in noun and adjective. Noun is used for depicting textile and construction and adjective is for touch and image. There is no difference for using words between marketplace and merchant.

Shopping Value and Satisfaction by Presentation Formats of Apparel Products -Information on Internet Shopping Malls (인터넷쇼핑몰의 의류상품정보 제시방법에따른 쇼핑가치와 만족)

  • This study investigates the effectiveness of fashion coordination presentation formats when people buy apparel products online. This study conducted an online survey with 595 females who shopped online at the simulated website by a single apparel plan picture (n=189), coordination plane picture (n=187), and 3-D coordination image (n=216). For data analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, MANCOVA, ANOVA, Duncan test, correlation analysis, and chi-square are used. The results of this study are: First, the hedonic shopping value was significantly the highest when respondents shopped at a 3-D coordination image shopping mall, the next highest-scored presentation type was the coordination plane picture, and the case of presenting only the single apparel picture was significantly the lowest. The utilitarian shopping value and information shopping value were higher in the coordination plane picture and the 3-D coordination image shopping mall than the single apparel picture. Second, transactions satisfaction was high when respondents shopped at a 3-D coordination image, coordination plane image, and single apparel image in decreasing order.

  • In this study, five women's fashion shopping mall companies were selected as the subjects based on the number of searches per month for analyzing website design of online shopping mall for women in their twenties. Design characteristics are divided into three aspects such as structural, visual, and customer service, and the results are as follow. First, from the structural perspective, the main navigation area and global navigation area of most shopping malls are arranged at the top center, and below them, the main image, the banner area, and the content area are arranged in order. Looking at the visual aspect, the logo is mostly written in a black text, the colors used on the main page were only one or two colors such as pink-based, gray-based, and red. Finally, from the customer service aspect, most shopping malls were encouraging buyers to place celebrity sponsorship, videos using products, self made products, and best products in the banner area. The results of this study are to present the direction of design for the founders who intend to operate the women' fashion shopping mall in future, and provide basic data for online shopping mall design research.

A Study on the Activation of the Internet Apparel Shopping Mall - Focused on the Contents of Web-site - (인터넷 의류쇼핑몰의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 - 웹 사이트의 컨텐츠를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of the study is to analyze web-site content for activating internet apparel shopping malls. With a view to improving the transaction experience and efficiency for both shopping-mall managers and customers. According to RANKEY(rankey.com) and 100 HOT RANHNC(100hot.co.kr), 5 big internet apparel shopping malls were chosen, divided into 3 web-site criteria of Users' Interface Section, Informational Section, and Customer Satisfaction Section, and analyzed. The results of our analysis of the web-site contents are as follows: 1) Concerning Users' Interface Section, the structure of the first screen is complicated and confusing. 2) Concerning Informational Section, the specific image of shopping man is ambiguous to understand and differentiated product information is not properly given. 3) Concerning Customer Satisfaction Section, the customers are not encouraged to show any interest in the shopping mall. These three problems are easily observed in most of the internet apparel shopping malls. To develop the internet apparel shopping mall, the following methods to activate them need to be implemented.

  • Internet shopping has transformed our daily lives as well as the pattern of consumption. In the word, the development and the growth of online shopping site have led to new pattern of consumption. This applies in particular to clothing, among the product on sale, on the internet. The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristic of colors and images on internet fashion soho mall web site, and to provide efficient color information which is usefull in color planning and suitable for brand image on fashion web site. 147 color sample used by 40 fashion soho mall web site were collected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, dominant color on fashion web site is static color as black and it's ratio is 33$\%$. Second, G color is not used. Third, Hue and tone mainly used It tone of P color except V tone. And the color image on internet fashion soho mall web site are modern, chic, dandy, formal. Results from analyzing the fashion soho mall Web site. it is important to unity the company's image but its more important to make a color plan considering the sites feature and the customers's sensitivity.

  • In this paper, a spatial-based perceptual watermarking considering human visual system (HVS) that is proposed for small-size images such as internet shopping-mall image. In our method, a multi-bit data can be embedded in luminance component of color images still keeping the perceptual quality of image. Experimental results demonstrated that watermarks can be strongly embedded while preserving a good fidelity.
