의류제품의 구매과정에 나타난 소비자 불만족 연구 (Consumer Dissatisfaction in Clothing Buying Process)

  • Consumer satisfaction and dissatisfaction is a important concept which composes the quality of life. It is especially important for fashion marketers to know the content of consumer dissatisfaction, because they can eliminate or minimize the sources of dissatisfaction to promote marketing efforts. The purpose of the study is to find out the content of dissatisfaction that consumers experience in buying process, and to see if the content of dissatisfaction differ according to consumers' buying practices and consumer charateristics. A questionaire was developed to measure consumer dissatisfaction, clothing buying behavior, clothing involvement and demographic characteristics. The questionaire was administered to 469 female adults during the spring of 1994. Social wear was selected as a clothing item for this study. The results of the study were as follows; 1. Consumer dissatisfaction in clothing buying process was analyzed into seven factors, such as sales personnel, quality and size, information and service, buying decision, product variety, shopping environment, and discounts sale. 2. According to consumers' clothing buying behavior, clothing involvement and demo- graphic characteristics, there were significant difference in consumer dissatisfaction.

Will Middle-Aged Korean Women Buy Jeans Again?

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate jean consumption among middle-aged Korean women and the characteristics of consumers as potential jean consumers. The data were collected from the survey of 238 Korean women aged 45 to 64 years old. The respondents prefer outlet store to other retail outlets and wear jeans mainly for travel, grocery shopping, and outing. The main reason for not wearing jeans is body change, which leads to poor fit in abdomen and waist area. The sample was clustered into two groups based on interest in jeans: high-interest and low-interest group. From the examination of group differences, the high-interest group rated conformity/brand reputation, scarcity, and attractiveness of appearance significantly higher compared to the low-interest group among the five clothing benefits pursued. No difference was found in obesity and body satisfaction. Group differences were found in recent purchase, price, number of jeans owned, and frequency of wearing jeans. The results suggest the characteristics of the potential jean market among middle-aged women in Korea. Implications are discussed.

  • Recent trends in online commerce shows that multi-channels including offline and online become prevailing as a standard type of channel. However, literature survey revealed that there exist few studies about how an individual negative emotion such as neuroticism affects trust transfer between channels, and usage continuance intention. To fill the research void like this, this study proposes an research model where trust transfer between offline and online channels is included, and neuroticism is also adopted as a moderating variable between trust transfer, satisfaction, and usage continuance intention. Empirical results with valid 406 questionnaires revealed that neuroticism has a negative influence on online commerce users' perceived usage continuance intention.

  • With the increase of using Internet in clothing shopping, the gathering of customer information based on online research is emphasized. The purposes of this paper summarized the several aspects of on-line research as new data collection methods and investigate some characteristics through reviewing extant literature on online research. We explored a conceptual model of response behavior for the purpose of the literature in a manner which enhance a deeper understanding of online response behavior. This model was focused on exchange paradigm instead of a "help-the-sponsor" approach. The proposed conceptual framework included questionnaire design, response incentive, commitment, convenience, expertise, response behavior (satisfaction and attitude), and online research performance.

의류제품 구매에서의 반품행동유형 연구 - 인터넷 쇼핑몰 구매를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Consumer's Return Behavior Type in Internet Clothing Purchase)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the main factors of return and consumers' return behavior types and also to find out the characteristics of consumer's purchasing behavior according to consumer's return behavior type. The Questionnaires was administered 315 males and females, who had experience of clothing purchase and return in internet shopping mall. The results were as follows. First, the factors of return were classified into quality of product, delivery, service, consumer's change of mind, and impulse buying. Second, 4 types of consumer's return behavior were categorized into habitual, dissatisfaction in product quality, dissatisfaction in delivery, and impulse buying. Third, Consumer's return behavior types were not significantly related to the frequency of purchase, information search. However there were significant differences in satisfaction of return process, dissatisfaction after return, and negative word of mouth according to the consumer's return behavior types.

인구통계적 특성, 소비자 가치와 의류브랜드 개인화 전략 (Demographic Characteristics, Consumer Values and Personalization Strategies of Apparel Brands)

  • The apparel market is extremely competitive and thus apparel manufacturers should try to maximize consumer satisfaction with cost-efficient but consumer-oriented strategies. Personalized strategies considering each consumer's characteristics have to be developed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of consumers' characteristics on personalization strategies of apparel brands. Investigating personalization based on consumers' values and demographic characteristics will allow apparel manufacturers to attract target consumers. A survey method was used for the empirical study. Questionnaires from 420 respondents were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster, t-test, and ANOVA. The results indicated a significant influence of consumer values on customer service-related aspects of personalization. Female consumers demanded product- and information-oriented factors of personalization. Age, residential area, and clothing expense also had significant influence on the need for personalization of apparel shopping.

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 인터넷 시장의 구매자와 판매자의 장단기 전략에서 가격을 기준으로 가장 합리적인 결정 방법을 알아보고 이를 통해 보다 가격 기준의 만족도 높은 거래를 성사시켜 구매자 및 판매자 모두에게 이득이 될 수 있는 프로세스를 제안한다. 제안된 프로세스는 구매자는 낮은 가격으로, 판매자는 높은 가격으로 물품의 거래가 성사된다면 가장 만족도가 높다는 가설을 세우고 이를 검증할 수 있도록 기존 시장을 구성하는 다양한 판매 방법들을 분석하여 본 연구에서 제시 하는 프로세스와의 장단점을 비교하고 본 연구를 통해 합리적 가격이 결정되는 방법 및 프로세스를 제한한다.

  • 본 연구는 인터넷쇼핑몰 B2C 거래자의 라이프스타일과 고객만족의 관계를 알아보려는 의도로 설문지 측정도구를 이용하였으며 선행연구와 실증분석을 시행하였다. 인터넷쇼핑몰 고객만족은 어떠한 인지적인 상황이나 태도에서 나아가 사후 행동과 연관지어 생각한다면 제품에 대한 재구매나 높은 애호도, 호의적인 구매행위 둥의 결정하는 원인으로 나타나기 때문에 인터넷쇼핑몰 관리자에게 B2C 거래의 성공적으로 이끌기 위한 필요한 마케팅정보를 제공할 수 있다. 분석결과 라이프스타일 유형중에서 열광매니아형이 고객만족에 긍정적으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 인터넷쇼핑몰에서 구매한 사이버소비자 집단의 구성원의 생활의식과 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치고 그 결과로 라이프스타일과 소비자행동의 관계를 파악해 줌으로써 체계적인 시장세분화에 접근할 수 있는 프레임웍(framework)을 제공해 줄 것이다.

친수공간 이용효율성 개선을 위한 중요도·만족도 분석 - 국내·외 드래곤 보트 페스티벌을 위한 친수공간 사례로 - (An Importance and Satisfaction Analysis for Improvement Efficiency Use of Waterfront - A Focus on the Waterfront Analysis for Domestic and Foreign Dragon Boat Festival -)

  • 본 연구에서는 친수공간을 적극적으로 활용하는 수상레포츠인 드래곤 보트 페스티벌을 통해 친수공간의 외적 환경과 내적 공간구조의 분석하고, 이용효율성을 증진시키는 방안을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 홍콩, 부산, 인천, 대전 등 국내외 4곳의 대상지를 통해 친수공간의 이용효율성에 영향을 미치는 요소에 대한 이용자들의 중요도와 만족도를 분석하고, 이에 따른 기초데이터를 제공하여 친수공간의 문화컨텐츠 활성화에 도움이 되고자 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 12항목에 대한 중요도 분석에서 친수공간 주변의 현대적 관광자원이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 수변경관, 수변광장 및 오픈스페이스, 편의시설, 교통접근성, 수변녹지, 전망공간, 역사적 관광자원, 보행접근성, 수면의 폭, 수질, 수심, 파랑 등의 수면조건, 계류시설 순으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 수변경관성은 대상지의 공간 구조적 문제라기보다는 도시 규모에 따른 외적 환경 요인에 의한 것으로 해석되며, 친수공간 입지선정에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 중요한 요인으로 해석된다. 수변 녹지경관의 분석에서 국내 대상지의 만족도가 높은 것은 최근 천변공원 등이 친수적 행위를 고려하여 조성된 원인에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 전망공간은 수변 쾌적성 체험과 드래곤보트를 비롯한 수상레포츠의 역동성을 입체감 있게 볼 수 있는 주요 인프라로서, 이용효율성을 위해 개선되어야 할 부분이라고 판단된다. 셋째, 관광자원적 요소는 친수공간 이용효율성에 영향을 미치는 중요도가 높은 인자로서, 역사적 자원보다는 현대적 관광자원에 더욱 민감히 반응하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 젊은 계층들의 쇼핑, 레저 등을 위한 관광인프라가 영향을 미친다고 분석되며, 홍콩과 부산은 주변 관광자원 인프라가 인접해 있는 친수공간 이용에 유리하게 작용한다는 것을 보여준다고 할 수 있다. 넷째, 교통 접근성 분석에서, 홍콩과 부산 두 곳 모두 지하철에 의한 교통 접근성이 우수한 지역의 영향으로 높게 평가되었으며, 대전은 교통 인프라에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 장소적 인지도의 영향 탓으로 만족도가 낮게 분석되었다. 홍콩의 보행접근성은 친수공간이 도심으로 연결되어 있고, 부산은 주거단지와 쇼핑센터 등의 이용객들이 도보로 접근할 수 있는 위치에 의한 결과로 분석된다. 마지막으로, 수면의 폭의 중요도 만족도 분석에서, 인천을 제외하고는 3곳 모두 수면의 폭이 200m 이상이며, 일정수준 이상의 수면 폭이 수상레포츠를 즐길 수 있는 집중력을 저해하는 결과로서 해석될 수 있다. 수질, 수심, 파랑 등의 수면 조건의 분석에서, 부산은 설문조사시 수질에 대한 문제가 제기되었으며, 대전 갑천의 경우는 대회 참여자들에 의해 적정수심에 대한 문제점이 제기되었다.

기혼여성의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 웰빙지향 식품에 대한 중요도 및 구매만족도 (The Level of Importance of Well-being Foods and the Level of Satisfaction Depending on Married Women's Lifestyle)

  • This study looks at the patterns of married women's lifestyles and verifies whether there are differences in their preferences, the will to continue shopping, and the importance of healthy foods. The paper analyzes the relative influence of each lifestyle pattern on the level of satisfaction with healthy foods. The results of the analysis of this study are as follows. To find patterns in the lifestyles of married women ages 20s to 50s, the factors were analyzed and five lifestyle patterns were extracted: health managing type, fashion pursuing type, self-expressing type, family-oriented type, and eco-friendly type. If we examine the purchasing of healthy foods for each lifestyle, women with a self-expressing lifestyle gain more information from news articles, books, and salespeople than from other information sources. Women of the health managing, family-oriented, and eco-friendly types had high purchasing frequencies and amounts. A cluster analysis was carried out to categorize the different groups being investigated into lifestyle types. They were categorized into the four clusters: active multiple-oriented type; fashion, self-expressing compromising type; passive well-being oriented type; and family and health managing type. It has been verified that there are differences among the clusters in terms of the level of importance of products, contributions to health, as well as distribution and management of healthy foods. To be more specific, the level of importance of the products as well as their distribution and management manifested as being higher among the active multiple-oriented type and the family-oriented and health managing types. The level of importance of contributions to health scored high among all groups, except the passive well-being oriented type. The active multiple-oriented type and the family-oriented and health managing types showed a high level of preference and will to continue purchasing healthy foods, while the fashion and self-expressing compromising types and passive well-being oriented type showed a low level of preference and will. In order to find patterns in the level of satisfaction with healthy foods, three factors were analyzed: credibility of labels, contributions to health, and satisfaction with the store. The factors that had the greatest influence on the total level of satisfaction was the credibility of labels for the family-oriented lifestyle; a product's contribution to health for the health managing lifestyle; and the store for the fashion pursuing lifestyle.
