  • The core technique of ubiquitous computing is the context aware computing and the context aware technique is more like software so the important research work is to develop the core engines first and the adapted device for the engines. When ubiquitous computing era comes, the current existing internet shopping mall, the form of searching the direct goods and ordering the goods by the customers evolves and develops the form of system that recommends the goods by the search engine which combined with the input data and technique of case based reasoning and intelligent agent that is based on the context aware technique. In this paper, search engine which is based on the case based reasoning and intelligent agent is designed and the prototype is implemented to be adapted to the internet fashion expert shopping mall.

  • The web monitoring is a procedure to detect and monitor the change of a particular information from the web site. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system to survey the response time for the customers chi an internet shopping mall. This system we designed, decreases the network overload and guarantees the accuracy as well as the reliability of the information by using an interactive agent. This interactive agent we constructed, is written in Java and controlled by the high-level information such as the index or the robot. from the N web site, we extracted the web monitoring results of keyword "LCD Monitor" and verified our system's efficiency. The performance of the system is tested and the result is illustrated.

  • We developed Intelligent Product Search Agent based on SWRL, and this agent can search product information with knowledge(facts and rules) on the web, implement price comparison for searched products considering delivery rates. Existing keyword based product search engines is poor at searching intent products though a user has already prefect knowledge about intent produces. Furthermore if a user has insufficient knowledge, it is impossible to implement search. Also, existing price comparison shopping mall gives users comparison service considering total price(product prices, taxes, delivery rates), this service is valid to single product and has limitations of system expansion and up-dating because of not rule base but programming base. If there is appropriate knowledge on the Semantic web and this makes product information retrieval possible, above problems can be solved clearly. In this research, we developed Intelligent Product Search Agent based on SWRL that can search product information efficiently by making agent to handle facts and rules by itself.

  • In the online shopping environment, consumers suffer from the process of selecting an optimal supplier. Although comparison shopping agent-based web sites and consumers' online community sites support the selection process, they have limitations when considering diverse and dynamic purchase conditions as a whole, which is the cause of additional consumer effort for optimal supplier selection. This study provides a decision support model with a sensitivity analysis for selecting an optimal supplier considering purchase conditions as a whole. It screens suppliers with filtering factors and provides optimal suppliers through a sensitivity analysis from a Quadratic Programming model. We implemented a prototype system and showed that it could be an effective decision support system for selecting the optimal supplier in the online shopping environment.

  • Most of searching systems used by shopping-mall provide too much information for user requirements or fail to provide appropriate items reflecting customer's preference. This paper aims to design and implement the product searching systems based on customer preference which will enable efficient product selection in the internet shopping-mall. The proposed system consists of user/provider interface, searching and model agent, data management system, and model management system. Especially, we construct the searching pattern database to support fast search using association mining method. And this system includes the customer-oriented decision model which shows the highly preferred products. Input weight value per attribute and preference level should be needed to compute priority grade of preference.

Identifying the Main Price Ranges of Online Product Category (온라인 상품 카테고리 내 주요 가격대 식별)

  • In recent, many consumers visit the online shopping malls or price comparison sites to collect the information on the product category that they are interested in. However, the volumes of the data provided by such web sites are often too enormous, and significant number of consumers have trouble in making purchase decision based on the plethora of products and sellers. In this context, modern online shopping agents need to process the retrieved information in more intelligent way before providing them to the users. This paper proposes a novel approach for identifying the main price ranges hidden in a single product category. To this end, the price of an item in the category is represented as a row vector and k-means clustering analysis is applied to the price vectors to produce the clusters that consists of the product items with similar price vectors. Then, the main price ranges of the product category can be identified from the result of clustering analysis. In general, the price is one of the most important factors in the consumers' purchase decision, and the identified main price ranges will be helpful for the online shoppers to find appropriate items effectively.

  • WWW의 확산과 함께 온라인 쇼핑몰 사용자들에게 상품 정보를 수집하고 제공하는 비교 쇼핑 에이전트들의 필요성도 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 웹사이트들은 대부분 그들 자신의 데이터 표현 포맷을 가지므로, 각 웹사이트별로 다른 wrapper가 작성되어야 한다. Wrapper는 특정한 포맷으로 쓰여진 웹페이지들로부터 정보를 추출하는 특수 목적의 프로그램이다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 wrapper 작성을 위해서 주어진 URL로부터 자동적으로 wrapper를 생성하는데 사용되는 핵심 정보를 추출하는 에이전트를 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 비교 쇼핑 에이전트에 필수 요소인 wrapper를 자동으로 생성하는 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 상품 정보들을 추출하기 위하여 사용자로부터 URL, 질의 형식(Get 또는 Post), 입력 매개변수들, 검색된 HTML 페이지에서 출력 위치들(상품명, 모델명, 판매가...)을 추출한다. 또한, 상품명을 이용하여 검색을 실시하고, 검색 결과 문서들을 분석하여 상품가격을 추출하는 규칙을 생성하며, 생성된 규칙을 WIDL로 기술하여 데이터베이스에 저장한다.
