액셜 피스톤 펌프의 슈 홀드 스프링 설계 및 성능시험 (Design and Performance Test of the Shoe Holder Spring of the Axial Piston Pump)

  • The axial piston pump by which the mechanical energy is converted into hydraulic energy has been widely used in a press, a injection molding machine and construction equipments due to the high specific power compared to the electric power system. In this paper, the one-piece shoe holder spring of the axial piston pump to simplify its structure and reduce this manufacturing cost was designed and tested. The finite element analyses using the 3-D shell element and contact element were performed to determine the thickness, width and initial angle of the shoe holder spring. Also, the compressive tests of the shoe holder spring were performed and their results were compared with those of the finite element analysis. Also, the performance and endurance limit of axial piston pump with the shoe holder spring were tested and evaluated.

비틀림 흡수구조형 제륜자 홀더행거의 적용방안에 관한 연구 (The research of application plan for the twist absorption structure type brake holder hanger)

  • Among welded structure bogies in use for high speed freight car, a part of bogies manufactured in 1999 and 2000 have found problems that crack occurs in its end beam. In case of a freight car the difference of weight between empty and loading conditions are worse than in case of a passenger car. Moreover its brake system is tread brake without second suspension system. Cracks of end beam is supposed to be due to loading by brake system rather than vertical loading by freight. These cracks can make brake system useless and may be a cause of derailment in the worst case. In this study, we have proposed a simple torsion-free brake shoe holder hanger to remove torsion of hanger bracket which was supposed to be one of causes of cracks and performed finite element analyses. Also static load test was applied in torsion free brake shoe holder.

사판식 피스톤 모터의 트라이포드 기구의 거동 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Behavior of Tripod Mechanism in Swashplate Type Piston Motor)

  • A swashplate type piston motor with a tripod joints is introduced to improve compactness and starting torque in conventional types of motor. If the driving torque of motor shaft is transmitted by utilizing the mechanism, its friction torque loss would be drastically reduced and mechanical efficiency would be improved because the lateral force on the piston of the rod type motor with tripod joints mechanism is relatively smaller than that of the conventional plunger type motor. In particular, kinematics analysis for the mechanism are done as a preliminary study to investigate the feasibility of the mechanism in the axial piston motor. General formulas are derived from the displacement and velocity analysis of the mechanism, showing relationships between output shaft and shoe holder motion. A series of numerical calculations are carried out for a medium size motor with 160cc/rev using the formulas and their graphical plots are shown as well.
