자율운항선박 입출항지원시스템의 스마트항만 연동 구조 설계 (Structural Design of Arrival/Departure Support System for Autonomous Ship)

  • 기술의 발전에 따라 항만을 구성하는 시스템들이 급속도로 고도화되고 있다. 근래에는 시스템 간 연결성이 크게 확대되어 이를 활용한 연구 사례가 많이 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자율운항선박을 대상으로 하는 선박 입출항지원시스템의 개념 설계와 초기 연동 구조 설계 결과를 다룬다. 개발되는 시스템은 선박의 입출항 지원 기능을 수행하기 위해 선박의 운항 정보, 육상의 레이더, AIS 정보 등을 필요로 하며, 이러한 데이터를 활용하고 연계하기 위한 구조가 소개된다.

A study on measurement of particulate matter, nitrogen oxide and carbon oxide from main engine in training ship

  • In this study, we have carried out measurement for exhaust emissions such as particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxide and carbon oxide from main engines installed on the training ships, HANBADA and HANNARA, of Korea Maritime University. In particular, we considered the two conditions; at arrivals/departures and at constant speed of about 160 rpm. The result showed that the concentration of PM at the ship arrival was 2.41mg/m3. On the other hand, when the ship is on the navigation condition, the concentration of PM was 1.34 mg/m3. The concentrations of nitrogen oxide and carbon oxide were measured in the range of 1,120~1,600 ppm and 320~1,450 ppm at the arrival and departure at the port. Under constant speed condition, the concentrations of nitrogen oxide and carbon oxide were 913~1,470 ppm and 73~460 ppm, respectively. Generally, the concentrations of exhaust emissions under the arrivals and departures were higher than that of constant speed condition. These results imply that the ship operation skill to prevent a sudden load change of main engine is needed during the arrival or departure. In addition, it means that the difference of exhaust emissions according to navigation conditions has to be considered when the reduction technologies of air pollutants from ships are developed.

빅데이터 기반 스마트 항만 운용시스템 (The Smart Port Management System Based on Big-data)

  • 현재 광양항을 비롯한 수출입 항만에서 선박의 관제, 예선, 도선 작업은 선사와 상관없이 입출항 순서 등과 같은 요소에 따라 공동 배선제로 운영되고 있다. 또한, 이것마저도 수작업에 의해서 매우 비효율적으로 이루어 지고 있다. 따라서 선박의 접·이안 등에 대한 업무의 표준화와 디지털화를 통하여 항만 및 선박 운용의 효율성을 높이기 위한 시스템의 개발이 절실히 요청되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박의 위치정보, 도예선 스케쥴, 입출항 운영정보, 기상정보 등과 같은 빅데이터에 기반한 스마트 항만 운용시스템을 설계하여 항만 및 선박 운용의 효율성을 높이는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구에서 대상으로 하고 있는 LG정유 광양항 제품부두는 7선석(Berth)에 재화중량(DWT) 300톤에서 48000톤의 선박까지 다양한 선박이 이용하고 있으며, 해상의 기상상태에 따른 선박 입출항 통제 지침 설정이 어렵고, 현재 사용하고 있는 지침의 근거가 명확하지 않아 현재의 부두 운영이 비효율적이거나 안정성이 결여되어 있다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이를 개선하기 위한 합리적인 부두운영 제한조건 개발이 절실히 요구되었다. 본 논문에서는 대상 부두의 특성, 대상 선박의 특성, 하중상태, 선박 운항자의 특성 등을 고려하여 해상/기상 상황(바람, 조류 및 파랑)에 따른 부두 입출항 가능 여부를 정량적으로 판단하고, 안전성 향상 방안을 제시할 수 있는 의사결정 시스템을 개발하고 5번, 7번 선석을 대상으로 이를 검증하였다. 여기서는 입출항 여부를 정량적으로 판단하여 결과를 제시하기 위해서 유전적 프로그램이(Genetic Programming)을 이용한 기계학습 방법을 이용하였으며, GP의 방대한 계산량을 줄이기 위한 가중 선형 연상 기억(Weighted Linear Associative Memory:WLAM) 방법의 도입 및 전역 최적점을 쉽게 찾기 위한 Group of Additive Genetic Programming Trees(GAGPT)를 도입함으로써 학습 성능을 개선하였다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a port simulation program for Inchon Port. The arrival and departure data from Inchon Port are analyzed, several probability density functions for the interval time and service time are estimated, and the berthing rules are constructed based on experts experiences. The port simulation program is written in visual basic considering the interarrival p.d.f., service rate p.d.f., berthing rules, and dual-dock system, and is used to analyze the effects of the changes in ship arrival rate and service rate upon the demurrage. It is expected that we can use the simulation results in order to prepare proper service level and to evaluate the appropriate investment strategy to be planned.

  • 선박의 안전한 운항과 자동입출항을 관리하기 위해서 사용되는 선박위치 발신장치(AIS, V-PASS)는 모든 선박에 의무적으로 장착하는 표준장비이다. 선박위치 발신장치를 활용한 선박식별 시스템을 항공기에 탑재하여 대형 어업지도선이나 경비함 등의 선박 및 지상 시스템에서 선박식별정보를 수신할 수 있게 되면 해양감시와 재난대응을 신속하게 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문은 항공기용 통합 선박식별 장치를 활용한 선박식별 및 도시 시스템의 개발 및 비행시험결과와 향후의 활용방안에 대해 기술하였다.

한국 근해 대형 선망 어선의 복원성 (Stability of the offshore large purseiner in Korea)

  • Marine casualties of vessel are said to be in most case caused by human error, but it would be valid for the assumption that the ship is built with high quality and then should be acceptable to the safety standards. It means that the inherent characteristics of a ship should be the first consideration on the safety of ship. Therefore it is basically necessary for navigator to grasp the inherent stability of his ship and ensure that the ship complies with the minimum statutory standards of stability. This study is to realize the stability of the Korean offshore large purseiner varying with loading conditions by the inclining data and some calculations. The author compared the stability of the ship with IMO criteria and domestic rule, and proposed some improvement for the safety of the ship. The results are summarized as follows ; The values of GM of the ship according to the loading condition in navigation satisfy both of the IMO criteria and the domestic rule, but in case of the area under the GZ curves between the heel angles of $30^{\circ}$ and $40^{\circ}$, and the heel angle occuring the maximum righting lever not satisfy the IMO rule at the fishing ground departure and arrival conditions in the haul in net situation. The initial metacentric height of the ship is very large, but the range of stability and the occurring angle of the maximum GZ are very small, so even small inclining can bring about the beam end. The best method of improvement for that is to increase the freeboard of the model among the variables.

부두 입출항 선박을 위한 선회수역 크기에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Size of Turning Basin for Vessels of Arrival & Departure in the Berths)

  • Generally the determination of turning basin for vessels of entering & sailing in the berth has been considered in the design standard of harbor construction rules of the port. In this regard, the turning basin has been determined by the max size of entering vessel of the berth/port. But the size of turning basin may considered the ship's maneuvering ability, operator's skillful power, mooring equipments of the berth, arrangement of the fairway and the environment condition of weather & seas around the designated port area. So this paper suggested the optimum size of turning basin after studying the harbour design rules of the advanced marine countries and using by maneuvering simulator for turning basin size and also evaluated the design standard of harbor construction rules and minimum size of turning basin against ship's length at the Gangjung civil/naval port of Jeju Island.

국내 소형 공항의 항공기 월경방지 대책 및 비행절차 수립 연구 (A Study Measures to Prevent Aircraft Crossing and Establish Flight Procedures at Domestic Small Airports)

  • Recently, domestic small airport development plans are being promoted centering on islands, and among them, Baengnyeong Island Airport is located very close to North Korea due to its geographical characteristics. In particular, since it is located in the P-518, which is prohibited airspace, it is essential to configure the arrival/departure flight procedure route similarly to the current ship in terms of securing flight safety. Therefore, in this study, a plan for airport location and facility scale was proposed by focusing on the runway operated for the purpose of aircraft operation through consultations with the Ministry of National Defense. It was proposed to meet the standards of the Airport Facility Act as an airport dedicated to domestic flights for airside facilities such as runway length and direction, target aircraft, landing pad, apron, runway and taxiway width appropriate for the topographical characteristics of Baengnyeong Island. As a result, the flight procedure is generally established as a two-way visual flight, but the 10-way arrival/departure procedure was planned to be changed to an instrument (non-precision) according to the specificity of the region. In addition, a flight procedure was established and presented for safe and systematic operation by reflecting the changes in airport facility size (landing pad, runway end safety area, etc.) following the change in instrument flight procedure in the visual flight procedure.

모의실험을 통한 인천항의 운영실태분석에 관한 연구 (A Simulation Study on the Demurrage of Inchon Port)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a port simulation program for Inchon Port. The arrival and departure data from Inchon Port is analyzed and the berthing rule based on formal materials and experiences is constructed. A Port-Simulation program to analyze the effects of the changes in ship arrivals, service capacities upon the demurrage is constructed and several scenarios are analyzed. It is expected that we can use the simulation results in order to prepare proper service levels and plan appropriate investment strategies.
