전자코를 이용한 두부의 저장특성 분석 주성분 분석과 군집분석을 이용하여 - (Characteristics of Shelf-life of Soybean Curd by Electronic Noses - Using PCA and cluster analysis)

  • An electronic noses system including six metal oxide sensors was used to predict the characteristics of shelf-life of soybean curd. Soybean curd was stored at two different temperatures defined as low temperature(5$\^{C}$) and high temperature(25$\^{C}$). Resistance changes of the sensors were measured 13 times for 19 days at low temperature and 19 times for 120 hours at high temperature. Three different analytical methods such as graphical analysis(GA), principal component analysis(PCA), and cluster analysis(CA) were used to analyze sensors outputs. The ratio of resistance was decreased according to increasement of shelf-life. Using PCA it was possible to predict freshness and shelf-life time of soybean curds. Also, using CA it was possible to simplify an electronic nose system. Electronic nose system could be an efficient method to predict shelf-life and to evaluate quality in foods.

종합병원 병실 내 광선반과 블라인드 설치 방식에 따른 자연채광 유입 효과 연구 (A Study on the Effect of inflow Daylight according to the installation method of controlling Light Shelf and Blind in the Room of General Hospital)

  • This study aims to identify convenient surrounding of the hospital room to be improved by specifically focusing on light environment and to examine a change of inflow of the daylight in the hospital room by using blind and light shelf device as base data of preliminary research for comprehending the relationship between healing environment and natural day light. Simulation analysis on previous facilities and the installation of horizontal light shelf that derives the inflow of day light has been specifically referred by using ECOTECT2011 program. In case of C-facility that mostly adjoined to exterior spaces, it was shown to be closer to a proper uniformity factor when an angle was controlled on the light shelf with blind installed at the same time. However, it was not overall appropriate because of visual displeasure occurred from inflow of much day light. In conclusion, it is the form of flat surface such as H-facility that provides an effect after installing the device to derive day light. Especially, it was shown that interior day light environment was improved when installing blind and controlling the angle at the same time.

  • Sodium lactateand sodium citrate, traditional food preservatives, were added to extend the shelf-life of the loow-salted Myungran-jeot, and various chemical and microbiological analyses were carried out with Muungran-jeot, and various chemical and microbiological analyses were carried out with Myungran-jeot femented at 1$0^{\circ}C$. pH was decreased in the beginning stage of fermentation and then increased, whereas the content of lactic acid was increased during fermentation. But, lactic acid production of the low-salted Myungran-jeot with preservative were lower than control. The NH$_2$-N content of the low-salted Myungran-jot with sodium citrate was increased in the beginning of fermentation and then decreased. Sodium citrate inhibited the productions of VBN and TMA during the fermentation of Myungran-jeot, whereas sodium lactate inhibited the productions of VBN and TBA. Sodium lactate inhibited the growths of proteolytic bacteris and fungi. The estimated shelf-lives of the Myungran-jeot with control, sodium lactate, and sodium citrate were about 11, 13, and 13 days, respectively.

장기보존시험에 따른 쌍화탕의 유통기한 설정 (Establishment of Shelf-life of Ssanghwa-tang by Long-term Storage Test)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the shelf-life of Ssanghwa-tang by long-term storage test. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the stability such as the selected physicochemical, pH, identification, heavy metal, microbiological experiment under a long-term storage test of Ssanghwa-tang. The significant change was not showed in pH, heavy metal, microbiological, identification test and quantitative analysis based on long-term storage test. The contents of albiflorin, paeoniflorin, cinnamic acid, liquiritin, and glycyrrhizin in long-term storage test were 66.8-93.1 ${\mu}g/mL$, 429.0-495.0 ${\mu}g/mL$, 3.8-4.4 ${\mu}g/mL$, 32.0-38.1 ${\mu}g/mL$, and 66.8-71.7 ${\mu}g/mL$, respectively. Shelf-lifes by 5 compounds about 3 lots at room temperature were predicted 21-37, 14-21, and 16-72 months, respectively. The suggested shelf-life would be helpful on the storage and distribution of herbal medicine.

  • 2003년 1월에 발사된 ICESat 인공위성은 극지방 전 지역을 거의 관측할 수 있는 극궤도 위성으로 극지방 빙하 변화 연구에 많은 기여를 하고 있다. ICESat은 GLAS(Geoscience Laser Altimetry System) 센서를 이용하여 지형의 변화를 정밀 관측함으로써 빙하의 고도 변화 탐지에 매우 유용하다. 이는 기존의 SAR 위성을 이용한 빙하 연구의 단점을 보완할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. ICESat의 정밀 빙하 고도 관측을 이용하여 Amery 빙붕의 속도 변화를 파악할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 시간의 변화에 따라 수평적으로 이동하는 빙붕의 변화를 ICESat 위성 자료를 통해 확인할 수 있었으며 이를 통해 빙붕의 속도 분포를 계산할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 방법은 남극의 다른 빙붕 연구에도 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

세균수에 의한 국수의 저장성 예측 (Prediction of Shelf-life of Noodles by Bacterial Count)

  • 비살균 제품인 생면(칼국수)과 숙민(우동, 냉면, 쫄면)을 대상으로 $5^{\circ},\;15^{\circ}$$25^{\circ}C$에서 일정한 세균수에 도달하는 시기는 생면의 경우 저장온도에 관계없이 이취의 발생시기와 비슷하였으나, 숙면의 경우 이취와 곰팡이 발생시기는 모들 시료에서 세균수에 의한 저장기간보다 늦었다. 국수의 저장수명은 저장온도가 $10^{\circ}C$씩 낮아짐에 따라 약 2배 정도 증가하였다.

  • Due to the rapid growth of publications, librarians have been facing the problems caused by the shortage of stack as well as the quality deterioration of library collections. This naturally disappointed the user communities and the present library activities are weak and inadequate. It seems to the author that one of the desirable actions in remedying this problems is to weed library collections properly and regulraly. The purpose of this study is to establish weeding criteria in library collections, particulary in the fields of polictical science, economics and law In order to establish weeding criteria, shelf-time period which is the length of time that a book remains on the shelf between the last two users of a volume, was measured by examining the book cards or date-due slips of circulating books and collections which remained in the stack. The results of this study are as follows: (1) In the fields of political science economics and law, the shelf-time periods of general materials in Korean for circulation was measured. (2) This study shows shelf-time periods that vary in different subject fields. (3) Combining the shelf-time periods of books in active circulation and the total collection including books which have never been circulated, the size of library holdings which may satisfy a certain percentage of the current circulation can be estimated.

활성탄소섬유를 이용한 추진제 저장수명 연장 (Propellant Shelf-life Extension by Surface-modified Activated Carbon Fiber)

  • 추진제는 저장 중 발생되는 질소산화물로 인해서 저장수명이 짧아진다. 추진제의 저장수명을 연장할 목적으로 활성탄소섬유로 추진제에서 발생하는 질소산화물을 흡착하였다. 활성탄소섬유에 폐추진제를 첨착시키고 열처리하여 표면을 개질한 결과 비표면적이 약간 감소하였으나 피리딘(pyridine), 피리돈(pyridone) 및 피롤(pyrrol) 등의 질소기능기가 생기는 것을 확인하였다. NO에 대한 흡착시험을 통해서 표면개질한 활성탄소섬유의 흡착능이 개질 이전의 활성탄소섬유에 비해 약 2배 증가하였다. 그리고 추진제에 대한 가속수명시험 결과 표면개질한 활성탄소섬유를 동봉하면 추진제의 저장수명이 약 25% 증가하였다.

저장 온도와 저장 기간에 따른 즉석 우럭(Sebastes schlegeli) 미역국 동결건조 블록의 품질 특성 변화 및 유통기한 추정 (Effects of Different Storing Temperature and Period on Quality and Shelf-life of Freeze Dried-block Type of Convenience Food for Rockfish Sebastes schlegeli Seaweed Soup)

  • This study was designed to verify the shelf-life of a freeze dried-block type of convenience food for rockfish Sebastes schlegeli seaweed soup product stored at different storing temperatures (25, 35, and 45℃) for 5 months. The polyunsaturated:saturated fatty acid ratio of the product stored at 25℃ was higher than that of products stored at 35℃ and 45℃ for 5 months. The colorimetric assessment indicated a noticeable decrease in the brightness of product color after 5months of storage at 35℃ and 45℃. Increased storage temperature and time negatively affected the product color. The products stored at 35℃ and/or 45℃ for more than 3 months tended to be more yellowish-red in color than those stored at 25℃ for shorter periods. No disease-causing microorganisms, including Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, posing health hazards to the human, were detected on food safety evaluation, regardless of storage conditions. Based on food visual shelf life simulator the shelf life of the rockfish seaweed soup was estimated approximately 22 months, considering the data from yellowness the safety factor of 0.7.

  • Nitrogen oxide gases which were produced by spontaneous reaction of nitrocellulose (NC) in the single base propellant accelerate the decomposition of propellant, and result in the reduction of shelf life, The amount of nitrogen oxide was reduced by the addition of $0.3wt\%$ CaCO3 to conventional stabilizer(DPA) which extended the shelf life of the single base propellant as much as twice compared with commercial propellant.
