A Synchronization Error Control System for Web based Multimedia Collaboration Environment (웹 기반 멀티미디어 공동 작업 환경에서의 동기화 오류 제어 시스템)

  • We propose ESS_WMCE. This paper explains the design and implementation of the EDSS running on ESS_WMCE. EDSS is a synchronization error control system for web based multimedia collaboration environment. We have an error detection approach by using hooking method. The technique of an error transmission is a mended model of utilizing an application sharing system. DOORAE is a good framework model for supporting development on application for computer supported cooperated works. It has primitive service functions. Service functions are implemented with an object oriented concept. It is a system that is suitable for detecting and sharing a software error rapidly occurring on web based multimedia collaboration environment by using software techniques. It is able to share an error as well as providing URL synchronization to access shared objects. When an error occurs, this system detects an error by using hooking methods in MS-Windows API(Application Program Interface) function. If an error is found, it is able to provide an error sharing to access shared objects.

  • The BBS of Web Site is a space of informational communication to share information. At the moment, countless information is shared through various kinds of BBS. The shared information through the Web BBS can be gains to someone and losses to the other. Thus, for a long time, there have been many researches about technologies, which monitor information uploaded to Web BBS in real-time and inform the results to subjects. For BBS monitoring, existing methods have utilized direct approaches to DB or open API. Also, e-mail addresses have been utilized to inform results to subjects. However, there are two main problems for these methods. The one is a problem on closed BBS, which cannot be accessed, and the other is impossibility of supporting real-time alarm to e-mail. Especially, the real-time support for services, such as monitoring, is extremely important, since the main purpose of monitoring is based on the counter action for the result. The mobile Web has a merit to be accessed in anywhere, so that it is quite suitable for services requiring real-time support. However, the real-time support of mobile device has not been utilized enough, because each mobile phone has different standards of contents so that the contents should be pre-created. This paper suggests a technology that overcomes pitfalls of mobile Web while it is out of standard, and shows how the effect can be maximized through services such as monitoring, which requires the real-time support.

  • To deliver new products to market in a due time, companies often develop their products with numerous partners distributed around the world. Internet technologies can provide a cheap and efficient basis of collaborative product development among distributed partners. This paper provides a framework and its product database model that can support consistent product data during collaborative product development. This framework consists of four components for representing consistent product structure: the product configuration, assembly structure, multiple representations and engineering changes. A product database model realizing the framework is designed and implemented as a system that supports collaborative works in the areas of product design and technical publication. The system enables participating designers and technical publishers to complete their tasks with shared and consistent product data. It also manages the propagation of engineering changes among different representations for individual participants. The Web technologies introduced in this system enable participants to easily access and operate shared product data in a standardized and distributed computing environment.

  • According to increasing necessaries of workflow systems, it will be useful to most Enterprises. However existing workflow systems are shared only inside of systems that use a same process definition. It is difficult to share a process definition with another enterprise using different platforms. In this paper, we used Web Service for sharing process definition. Web Service have advantage that can linked between different platforms. Therefore we developed workflow Process definition by using Web Service. Using Web Service, we can be share workflow process definition between enterprises using different platform.

  • We are able to work on the shared virtual space in Web-based Collaborative Design System using only Internet and Web browser. The users connect to the Solid Modeler Server through m and they create 3D shape and manipulate them variously. Then the users will share 3D objects and two problems can arise. The users must be able to pick the objects effectively which they want to manipulate. When one of the users manipulates a particular object, others should not disturb with the same object. In this paper, picking is implemented not only by computing intersection of mouse pointer with the objects of the virtual world, but also by using capabilities and attributes of scene graph node, by setting bounds intersection testing instead of geometric intersection testing, by limiting the scope of the pick testing, using Java 3D. These methods can reduce the computation of picking and can pick 3D objects effectively and easily using the system of hierarchy. To have effective concurrency, we used shared lock and exclusive lock as the action in work space.

  • OAuth 2.0 bearer token and JWT(JSON web token), current standard technologies for authentication and authorization, use the approach of sending fixed token repeatedly to server for authentication that they are subject to eavesdropping attack, thus they should be used in secure communication environment such as HTTPS. In OAuth 2.0 MAC token which was devised as an authentication scheme that can be used in non-secure communication environment, server issues shared secret key to authenticated client and the client uses it to compute MAC to prove the authenticity of request, but in this case server has to store and use the shared secret key to verify user's request. Therefore, it's hard to provide stateless authentication service. In this paper we present a randomized token authentication scheme which can provide stateless MAC token authentication without storing shared secret key in server side. To remove the use of HTTPS, we utilize secure communication using server certificate and simple signature-based login using client certificate together with the proposed randomized token authentication to achieve the fully stateless authentication service and we provide an implementation example.

  • The web is one of the most intimate technologies in people's daily lives, and most of the time, people are sharing data on the web. Simple messenger, news, video, as well as various data are now spreading through the web. In addition, with the emergence of Web assembly technology, the programs that run in the existing native environment start to enter the domain of the Web, and the data shared by the Web is now getting wider and larger in terms of VR / AR contents and big data. Therefore, in this paper, we have studied how to effectively deliver web contentsto users who use Web service by using service worker that can operate independently without being dependent on browser and cache API that can effectively store data in web browser.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient configuration of a system for the remote control of a mobile robot. The interface has a video feedback and runs in standard web environments. For control servers of mobile robot and CCD camera, we use the environment with embedded web server Specific program has been developed in order to grab the images using Microsoft Visual C++ The external camera sends the video signal to a framegrabber in the PC, then this program grabs the images and puts them in shared memory in BMP format. For a video feedback, we use image feedback based on the client pull technique supported by Netscape and Internet Explorer.

  • Much research has been performed to represent music information on computers. However, one problem of the previous approaches is that music information cannot be hared with other music systems since they have used their own representation schemes. In order to resolve this problem, we have developed a new scheme for representing, editing, and playing rhythms among music information based on XML which is a web standard language. We present a RDML (Rhythm Description Markup Language) to exactly describe rhythm information such as beats, musical instruments, and performance information, which is much simpler thant previous representation schemes. Moreover, the RDML representation can be played by converting it into SMIL representation. Because our approach is based on the web standard, the music information can be shared on the web.
