Transformation of Urban Spatial Structure by Using Historical Geographic Information - Case Study of Shenyang in China - (역사지리정보를 활용한 도시공간구조 변화에 관한 형태학적 연구 - 근대 심양의 도시성장을 대상으로 -)

  • The final purpose of this study is to explore morphological change of Shenyang in the period of the rising Chung Dynasty. For that purpose we have tried to build the historical GIS DB of site and analysis of the structure and shape pattern of the city by using the functions of GIS. From the view of spatial structure and cultural context, main characteristics, which is derived from the analysis of ancient map of Shenyang, can be summarized into five things as follows ; transformation of open spatial structure into closed structure, combination of horizontal spatial structure with vertical structure, transformation of practical spatial structure into symbolic structure, transformation of natural spatial structure into institutional form of ancient Chinese capital city, conservation of traditional Manchurian culture.

The Effect of Thermomechanical Treatment on the Transformation Characteristics and Mechanical Properties in a Cu-Al-Ni-Ti-Mn Alloy (Cu-Al-Ni-Ti-Mn 합금의 변태특성 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 가공열처리의 영향)

  • The distribution of the second phase, the change of transformation temperature and mechanical properties with thermomechanical treatment conditions were investigated by metallography, calorimetry, EDS, tensile test and fractography in a Cu-Al-Ni-Ti-Mn alloy. The cast structure revealed Ti-rich precipitates($X_L$ phase) between dendrite arms, which have been identified as $(Cu,Ni)_2TiAl$ intermetallic compounds. By homogenizing above $900^{\circ}C$, the $X_L$ phase was melted in the matrix, while the Xs phase was precipitated in matrix and the volume fraction of it was increased. When hot-rolled specimen was betatized below $750^{\circ}C$, recrystallization could not be observed. However, the specimen betatized above $800^{\circ}C$ was recrystallized and the grain size was about $50{\mu}m$, while Xs phase was precipitated in matrix. With raising betatizing temperature, $M_s$ and $A_s$ temperatures were fallen and transformation hysteresis became larger. The strain of the specimen betatized at $800^{\circ}C$ was 8.2% as maximum value. The maximum shape recovery rate could be obtained in the specimen betatized at $800^{\circ}C$ but it was decreased due to the presence of Xs phase with increasing betatizing temperature.

  • In this paper, shape memory compsites are made by powder metallurgy. And then, an self-strengthening effect of the composites by shape memory effect above inverse transformation temperature A/sab f/ of TiNi alloy discussed. Moreover, TiNiCo/Al composite is made by using TiNiCo alloy as fiber. And it is discused aboutaffection of Co in the shape memory composite. The results of the intelligent properties of TiNi/Ai-radical shape memory composite, using SMA, by powder metallurgy are the tensile strength of TiNiCo wire is much higher than that of TiNi wire. and the strength of TiNiCo/Al composite is generally higher than that TiNi/Al composite.

  • This paper presents an experimental study on a bending actuator with a shape memory alloy wire. In this study, we introduced design process and experimental result of the bending actuator. The bending actuator consists of a SMA wire, springs, and a glass/epoxy strip. In the bending actuator, springs were used to restore the SMA wire to its initial shape right after actuation. To obtain properties of the SMA wire, DSC test was performed and the behavior of the SMA wire under different loadings was observed. Finally, the proposed bending actuator shows reasonable actuation behavior with relatively lower power consumption, fast response and effective efficiency.

  • Shape memory is physical phenomenon which a platically metal is restored to its original shape by a solid state phase change by heating. TiNi alloy the most effective material in the shape memory alloy(SMA). To study(measure) recovery stress of intelligent composite. Ti50-Ni50 shape memory matrix with prestrain SMA fiber. When SMA fiber of the intelligent composite is heated over austenite starting temperature(As) by electric heating. a recovery stress are generated. The recovery stress of the intelligent composite was measured by strain gage or photoelastic experiment. Measuring method of recovery stress by photoelastic experiment was developed in this research. It was certified that photoelastic experiment was more effective and more precise than strain gage method in the measurement of recovery stress.

  • This paper addresses the vibration mode shape measurement technique utilizing a Continuous Scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometer (CSLDV). The continuous scanning capability is added to the conventional discrete Laser Doppler Vibrometer by reflecting the laser beams on the surface of the object using two oscillating mirrors. The bow scanning resulted from the proposed scanning method is eliminated by feedback control. The velocity output signal from the CSLDV is modulated to give the spatial velocity distribution in terms of coefficients which are obtained from the Fast Fourier Transformation of the time dependent velocity signal. Using the Chebyshev series form, the analysis of the vibration mode shape techniques for straight Bine scanning and 2 dimensional scanning are presented and discussed. The performance of the proposed SLDV is presented using the experimental results of the vibration mode shape of a plate

  • Nano composite sample were irradiated and annealed to study irradiation induced phase transformation behavior by nano indention technique. The specimens with 3mm in diameter were irradiatied. Polycrystalline nano filaments were broken their shape and tended to be equilibrium shape like facted sphere. The hardness of irradiatied nanocomposites was decreased by annealing which resulted from the grooving of silver filaments.

  • This paper presents a new idea to obtain moment of inertia values of an arbitrary shape body by applying inverse modal transformation technique. A multiaxes inertia pendulum apparatus was designed to measure 6 rigid body modes of a test body. A software was developed to calculate inertia properties as well as the location of center of gravity and total mass of the test body from the measured modal data. The developed method was applied to a simple body of which the inertia properties are known then the obtained values were compared with the known values.

  • In this paper we describe the shape measuring technique and system with a non-contractive sensor, composed of slit-ray projector and solid-state camera. For improving the accuracy and preventing measuring dead point, this sensor part is attached to the end of robot, and each sensing is executed after one step moving. By patching these sensing data, whole measuring data is constructed. The calibration between sensor and world coordinate is implemented through the specific calibration block by transformation matrix method. The result of experiment was satisfactory.
