SEV용 IPMSM의 토크리플 및 철손 저감을 위한 회전자 형상 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Rotor Shape Design to Reduce Torque Ripple and Core Loss of IPMSM for SEV)

  • As interest in eco-friendly and fuel-efficient electric vehicles has increased globally, there has also been a growing interest in the efficiency, vibration, and noise of motors for electric vehicles Electric vehicles generally have significantly lower driving ranges per charge compared to the maximum driving range per fueling of internal combustion engine vehicles. Additionally, there are issues with various vibrations and noise generated by the motor that can cause discomfort for passengers. Therefore, research is necessary to reduce losses, vibration, and noise of the motor to improve the driving range of electric vehicles. IPMSM with a purchased design can obtain additional reluctance torque by utilizing the difference in inductance between the d and q axes. However, due to this reluctance torque, torque ripple occurs larger than other motors. The increase in torque ripple also increases noise and vibration. Since the reluctance torque, which is the main cause of torque ripple, is determined by the shape of the motor components, torque ripple can be reduced through shape optimization. In this paper, a rotor shape for reducing torque ripple and core loss that causes vibration, noise, and efficiency to decrease of IPMSM for electric vehicles was proposed. Optimization design was carried out by changing the shape of the q-axis path of the rotor to reduce the difference in inductance of the d and q-axis of the rotor. Finally, in order to verify the validity of the design variables derived through the optimal design, the original model and the improved model were compared through the FEM. Compared to the original model, the improved model's torque verifying ripple was reduced by about 62% and core loss was reduced by about 29%, the superiority of the improved model.

무한고장 NHPP Lomax 수명분포의 형상모수 변화에 따른 소프트웨어 신뢰성 모형의 속성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Attribute Analysis of Software Reliability Model with Shape Parameter Change of Infinite Fault NHPP Lomax Life Distribution)

  • 본 연구에서는 무한고장 NHPP 로맥스 수명분포의 형상모수 변화에 따른 소프트웨어 신뢰성 모형의 속성을 새롭게 분석한 후 최적의 형상모수 조건을 제시하였다. 소프트웨어 고장현상을 분석하기 위하여 모수추정은 최우추정법을 사용하였고, 비선형 방정식의 계산은 이분법을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 형상모수(k)의 변화에 따른 속성을 비교하였을 때 형상모수가 작을 수록 참값에 대한 예측능력이 우수하고, 신뢰 속성이 효율적임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여, 소프트웨어 개발자들은 형상모수에 근거한 소프트웨어 고장형태를 사전에 파악함으로서 신뢰도를 성장시킬 수 가 있으며, 또한, 소프트웨어의 신뢰속성을 향상시키는데 필요한 기본정보로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Study of tensile behavior of Y shape non-persistent joint using experimental test and numerical simulation

  • Experimental and discrete element methods were used to investigate the effects of angle of Y shape non-persistent joint on the tensile behaviour of joint's bridge area under brazilian test. concrete samples with diameter of 100 mm and thikness of 40 mm were prepared. Within the specimen, two Y shape non-persistent notches were provided. The large notch lengths were 6 cm, 4 cm and 2 cm. the small notch lengths were 3 cm, 2 cm and 1 cm. The angle of larger notch related to horizontal axis was 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°. Totally, 12 different configuration systems were prepared for Y shape non-persistent joints. Also, 18 models with different Y shape non-persistent notch angle and notch length were prepared in numerical model. The large notch lengths were 6 cm, 4 cm and 2 cm. the small notch lengths were 3 cm, 2 cm and 1 cm. The angle of larger notch related to horizontal axis was 0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150. Tensile strength of model materil was 1 MPa. The axial load was applied to the model by rate of 0.02 mm/sec. This testing showed that the failure process was mostly governed by the Y shape non-persistent joint angle and joint length. The tensile strengths of the specimens were related to the fracture pattern and failure mechanism of the discontinuities. It was shown that the tensile behaviour of discontinuities is related to the number of the induced tensile cracks which are increased by increasing the joint length and joint angle. The minimum tensile strength occurs when the angle of larger joint related to horizontal axis was 60°. Also, the maximum compressive strength occurs when the angle of larger joint related to horizontal axis was 90°. The tensile strength was decreased by increasing the notch length. The failure pattern and failure strength are similar in both methods i.e. the experimental testing and the numerical simulation methods.

토공수량계산 자동화를 위한 스케치 도면 요소의 그래프 위상 자동 구성 및 형태 패턴 인식에 대한 연구 (The Recoginition of Pattern of Shape and Composing the Graph Topology of Sketch Drawing Element for the Automation of Earthwork Quantity Calculation)

  • 본 연구에서는 토목 설계 엔지니어링에서 공사비 산출에 50%이상을 차지하는 토공 공종 분류 및 수량산출을 위한 스케치 도면 요소의 위상 자동 추출 및 토공 형태 패턴 자동인식 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 횡단면도에서 자동으로 폐영역을 인식해 vertex(정점), edge(모서리), face(면)로 위상요소를 추출하고, 각 위상요소간의 관계를 자동 설정할 수 있도록 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 이 위상구조를 이용해 형태 패턴을 수학적으로 정의하고 형태를 자동 인식할 수 있는 모델을 제안하였다. 연구 결과로 기존 토공엔진에서 처리하기 어려웠던 토공 형태도 토공 형태 패턴 모델을 확장함으로써 쉽게 처리할 수 있었으며, 횡단면도에서 수량을 산출할 수 있는 일반적인 형태 패턴 인식 모형을 얻을 수 있었다. 개발된 모형을 이용한다면, 토목에서 다양한 분야의 토공 분류 및 수량 산출 업무를 자동화해 비용을 줄이고 수량 산출의 정확도는 높일 수 있다고 판단된다.

  • In this study, we used photoelastic coating method which is a kind of model test for examining the stress condition of rock masses around underground structures. Using this method, we could know adaptability and usefulness of photoelastic coating method for various shape of tunnel models. And, in spite of higher cross section efficiency, square shape model showed unstable status because of high stress concentration. So, we cut the slits at the each corner of tunnel, and we could make more stable stress condition by means of moving high stress concentration to rock mass.

  • The objective of this research is to develop a manufacturability measurement model for process and material screening. The process and material screening is the key requirement for implementing the Design for Manufacturability (Concurrent Engineering). A computerized system realizing this model then is developed to aid designers. Identification of the key factors which influence technical manufacturability, decision variables and their characteristics, conceptual framework for implementing the model are suggested. Manufacturability measure for quantifying the consistency of between the product requirements and the manufacturing capability is important contribution of this research. The focus is on net shape manufacturing process such as diecasting, forging, metal forming and injection molding.

  • In cases where strong a priori knowledge about the object being analyzed is available, it can be embedded into the formulation of the snake model. When prior knowledge of shape is available for a specific application, information concerning the shape of the desired objects can be incorporated into the formulation of the snake model as an active contour model. In this paper we show Five points algorithm can be applied to design invariant energy.

FSI 해석에 의한 비정형 초고층 빌딩의 풍응답 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wind-Induced Response Characteristics of Freeform Shaped Tall Building using FSI Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 FSI해석을 이용하여 비정형 초고층 빌딩의 풍응답 특성을 연구하였다. 해석모델은 Twist모델이며, 뒤틀림 각도와 풍가속도의 상관관계에 대해 연구 중점을 두었다. 먼저 단방향 해석을 수행하여 100년 재현주기 풍속에 대한 최대 횡 변위를 구하고, 제한조건을 만족하는 탄성계수를 산출한다. 그리고 양방향 해석을 수행, 시간이력해석을 통해 산출된 탄성계수와 임의의 밀도를 가지는 풍가속도를 예측하게 된다. 정방형 모델은 높이 400m, 변장비 1:1, 세장비 8로 설정, 뒤틀림 모델은 0도에서 90도까지 15도 간격으로, 90도에서 360도까지 90도 간격으로 비틀어 회전시켰다. 형상에 따른 풍가속도 예측 결과, 정방형 모델이 뒤틀림 모델보다 크게 산출되어 풍진동 영향에 더 민감한 것을 검증하였다.

단순 측면충돌해석에 의한 센터필러의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of a Center-pillar Model with a Simplified Side Impact Analysis)

  • This paper is concerned with optimum design of a center-pillar assembly induced by the high-speed side impact of the vehicle. In order to simulate deformation behavior of the center-pillar assembly, simplified finite element model of the center-pillar and a moving deformable barrier are developed based on results of the crash analysis of a full vehicle model. In optimization of the deformation shape of the center-pillar, S-shaped deformation is targeted to guarantee reduction of the injury level of a driver dummy in the crash test. Tailor-welded blanks are adopted in the simplified center-pillar model to control the deformation shape of the center-pillar assembly. The thickness of each part which constitutes the simplified model is selected as a design parameter. The thickness of parts which have significant effect on the deformation mechanism are selected as design parameters with sensitivity analysis based on the design of experiment technique. The objective function is constructed so as to minimize the weight and lead to an S-mode deformation shape. The result shows that the simplified model can be utilized effectively for optimum design of the center-pillar members with remarkable saving of computing time.
