발전설비의 터빈 축정렬 (II) : 자동화를 위한 전산 프로그램 개발 (Turbine Alignment (II): Computer Program Development)

  • When a vibration is generated due to the misalignment, the reduction of the vibration level is not attainable unless a correct shaft alignment is conducted. In a turbine system, an alignment procedure requires quite a lot amount of expense and time. To reduce this effort, an algorithm of the turbine alignment is developed to be used in the computer program. The program consists of five parts : input, calculation, display of the results, file management, and printer output. In the input part, users must provide the data on the turbine number, the reference value of the alignment, and the number of the feet of the generator. In calculation, the moving distance of the bearing and the necessary amount of the shims are calculated. In the display and the output parts, the calculated results are displayed and calculated. Then, by using the file management, results and procedures conducted are saved in the floppy diskette or in the hard disk. The developed program can be run in IBM PC compatible with more than 640 KB of main memory with the operating system of MS-DOS v 3.3 or higher. It is developed for novice users with no experience or specialty in this field. The program is not only useful in the power plant application, but also helpful for recording of the alignment procedures.

영구자석형 조작기를 갖는 진공차단기의 동적거동 (Dynamic Behavior of Vacuum Circuit Breaker with Permanent Magnetic Actuator)

  • A vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) with permanent magnet actuator (PMA) has been studied in this study. Electromagnetic field analysis and dynamic simulations have been carried out for optimal design of VCB by using commercial software Maxwell and ADAMS. This simulation model can be an effective method for the VCB, which has non-linear output force of PMA, friction, and impact for operations. An experiment has been conducted to evaluate correctness of the simulated model. By using this evaluated model, the displacement and velocity characteristics of the VCB have been simulated with following conditions : (1) The different output forces of PMA have been applied, (2) The friction conditions in follow lever shaft and moving part have been changed, (3) The mass conditions of moving part have been changed. The simulated results shows that the velocity characteristics are mainly determined by the output force of PMA. The effects due to the changes of friction conditions against the dynamic characteristics was small, and the mass conditions of the moving parts affect the velocity and a bouncing phenomenon of VCB. From these results, the optimal design conditions for the VCB have been derived.

  • Salient pole rotor type single phase SRM(switched reluctance motor) uses the magnetic fluxes of radial and axial direction at the same time. Therefore the output power per unit volumn is very high and shaft length can be shorter than any other types of SRM with same output. Also, It can be manufactured with low cost thanks to simple structure and driving circuit. We already designed and manufactured prototype using the dynamic output equation of general rotating machine but the effect by salient pole structure was not considered. The most optimal design parameters for salient pole rotor type single phase SRM will be selected by comparing and analyzing the results from 3D FEM analysis, experimental values of the torque versus speed characteristics. and the nux linkage of prototype. Results for the former 3D FEM analysis and torque vs. speed characteristics were already obtained. Finally, we will measure the nux linkage of salient pole rotor type single phase SRM.

  • 본 연구에서는 회전체를 지지하는 자기 베어링에 관하여, 2장에서는 적분형 서보계를 이용하여 횡축형 자기베어링 시스템(Horizontal-shaft Magnetic Bearing System: HMBS)에 대한 불확실성을 고려하면서 과도상태 응답개선에 대한 이론적인 고찰과 제어기설계 수식을 유도한다. 그리고 HMBS에 대해 물리 퍼래미터 변동에 대한 강인성과 외란의 영향을 저감하고 기준위치 변경에 따른 추종성을 갖도록 상태 피드백 제어기를 LMI 기법을 이용하여 설계한다. 3장에서는 설계한 제어칙을 가지고 시스템 불확실성의 변동에 대해 시간영역의 설계사양을 고려한 경우와 고려하지 않은 경우에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 행하고 실제 적용 가능성을 검토한다.

  • The output power fluctuations of renewable energy power plants such as wind turbine generators and photovoltaic systems result in frequency deviations and terminal voltage fluctuations. Furthermore, these power fluctuations also affect the turbine shaftings of diesel generators and gas-turbine generators which are the main power generation systems on isolated islands. Therefore, it is important to achieve torsional torque suppression. Since the measurement of torsional torque is technically difficult, and there is an uncertainty in the mechanical constants of the shaft torsional system. This paper presents an estimation system that estimates torsional torque by using a developed $H_{\infty}$ observer. In addition to the above functions, the proposed shaft torque observer incorporates a parameter identification system that aims to improve the estimation accuracy. The simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed $H_{\infty}$ observer and the parameter identification.

사판식 피스톤 모터의 트라이포드 기구의 거동 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Behavior of Tripod Mechanism in Swashplate Type Piston Motor)

  • A swashplate type piston motor with a tripod joints is introduced to improve compactness and starting torque in conventional types of motor. If the driving torque of motor shaft is transmitted by utilizing the mechanism, its friction torque loss would be drastically reduced and mechanical efficiency would be improved because the lateral force on the piston of the rod type motor with tripod joints mechanism is relatively smaller than that of the conventional plunger type motor. In particular, kinematics analysis for the mechanism are done as a preliminary study to investigate the feasibility of the mechanism in the axial piston motor. General formulas are derived from the displacement and velocity analysis of the mechanism, showing relationships between output shaft and shoe holder motion. A series of numerical calculations are carried out for a medium size motor with 160cc/rev using the formulas and their graphical plots are shown as well.

다물체 모델링을 이용한 2단 유성식 외륜 고정형 사이클로이드 감속기의 진동특성분석 (Vibration Analysis of Planetary Fixed Outer-ring Type Cycloidal Speed Reducer by using Multi-body Modeling)

  • There are many types of speed reducer for industrial uses. However the cycloid speed reducer is widely used in manipulators based on excellent performance of low backlash, high reduction ratio and compact size. It is essential to use precision speed reducer for accuracy of position controls on robot systems and electric vehicles. The cycloid speed reducer has a eccentric rotating motion and offset to avoid some problem of assembly, so it has a disadvantage for vibration. In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model is developed for a cycloid speed reducer and the dynamic behaviors of the reducer are investigated. The cycloid speed reducer consists of cycloidal plate gears, housing gear, input shaft, output pin and shaft, and eccentric bearings. Using a CAD program, each component of cycloid reducer is modeled based on the offset and eccentric. Multi-body simulations using Recurdyn and test using a rig tester are performed. As a result, the pin reaction force and the amplitude of housing displacement are increased by the larger offset and smaller eccentric value of cycloid reducer.

  • 본 논문은 참고문헌 (13)의 "디이젤 엔진에서 배기관의 굴곡도가 배기소음에 미치는 영향"에 대한 연구에 있어서 배기관의 굴곡성이 엔진성능에 미치는 영향에 대해서 실험적 방법을 통하여 구명하는데 있다. 따라서 4기통, 배기량 2,164cc의 디이젤 엔진을 사용하였으며, 굴곡의 형태는 원호형과 직각형의 두 경우에 대해서 실험하였다. 엔진의 운전조건은 일반적 사용 범위인 회전속도 1,200~3,200rpm드로 틀 밸브 개도25-100% 구간으로 잡고 곡관부의 형상치수를 변화시키며 부하, 흡기압력, 연료소비량, 배기온도 및 압력등을 측정하고 이것으로 부터 축출력, 축토오크, 연료소 비율을 계산하여 이를 상호비교 검토함으로써 곡관부의 형상치수가 엔진성능에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다.영향을 고찰하였다.

  • A cycloid speed reducer is a type of the speed reducers. The cycloid speed reducer has a eccentric rotating motion and offset to avoid some problem of assembly, so it has a disadvantage for vibration. In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model is developed for a cycloid speed reducer and the dynamic behaviors of the reducer are investigated. 유기 랭킨 사이클용 스크롤 팽창기 성능 시험에 관한 연구 (Effects of Channel Amplitude Ratio on Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Primary Surface Heat Exchanger for ORC)

  • An algebraic scroll expander has been fabricated and tested in a R134a Rankine cycle with heat source of 20 kW. For the operating conditions of 20~26 bar and $90{\sim}93^{\circ}C$ at the expander inlet and 8~9 bar at the outlet, the expander produced the shaft output power of about 0.6~0.7 kW in the operating speed range of 1500~2000 rpm. These correspond to the expander efficiency of 40~45%. The volumetric efficiency increased with increasing of the expander speed, reaching to 80% at 2000 rpm. Comparing to numerical simulation results, mechanical efficiency from the test data was found to be considerably low by as much as 30%, indicating that reduction in the frictional loss should be made to improve the scroll expander efficiency.
