Endocrine factors, such as steroid hormones and growth factors, regulate egg productivity including the number of egg production, egg weight, sexual maturity, and the number of small yellow follicles. Especially, insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) is involved in the regulation of ovulation rate and ovarian follicular development in chickens, and the relationship between IGF-I genotype and egg weight was reported. However, the effect of grwoth factors on egg productivity in Korean Native Ogol Chicken (KNOC) has not been studied. Therefore this study was conducted to identify the relationship among endocrine factors, IGF-I genotypes, and egg productivity. IGF-I genotypes (AA, AB, BB) were represented to 12.6%, 34%, and 53.4%, respectively. AB genotype stimulates the secretion of estradiol and progesterone in serum (30 and 40 week), regulates growth and proliferation of follicles at 60 weeks, and is positively associated with the number of small yellow follicles. Therefore, these results suggest that there are possibility to IGF-I genotypes for a genetic marker in egg productivity of KNOC.

Previous studies, including our own, indicate that distinct morphological changes in rodent adrenal cortex could be induced by exposure of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC). In the present study, we conducted histological analyses of adrenocortical substructure using a nonylphenol-treated F1 rat model. The adrenal weight of NP-5000 group was significantly declined in female rats (p<0.001), while the adrenal weights of NP-treated groups were not significantly changed in male rats. The thickness of zona glomerulosa layers of female rats in NP-5000 group was significantly declined (p<0.001) but zona fasciculata layers were not changed. The zona reticularis layers of NP-treated group were significantly thinner than those of control group (NP-50, p<0.05; NP-5000, p<0.01). In male adrenal glands, there was no significant change of zona glomerulosa layers in NP-treated groups while the thickness of zona fasciculata in NP-5000 group was significantly decreased (p<0.01). Like female rats, the thickness of zona reticularis in NP-treated groups was significantly decreased (NP-50, p<0.001; NP-5000, p<0.05). Present study demonstrated that the adrenal histology could be altered by low-dose NP exposure in F1 rats, and the effect might be sexually dimorphic. Further study will be helpful for understanding possible adrenal pathophysiology induced by EDC exposure, and EDC-related sexually dimorphic phenomena in rodent adrenals.

Objectives: To confirm the awareness of child abuse and attitudes toward mandatory reporting among dental hygiene students in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. Methods: The level of awareness of child abuse according to general characteristics, attitudes toward reporting obligation, and awareness of the mandatory reporting system were analyzed using t-test or one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) analysis, and correlation was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: Awareness of child abuse was 3.76, 3.68, 3.67, and 3.18 points for neglect, sexual abuse, physical, and emotional abuse, respectively. The attitude toward reporting obligation were 3.60 and 2.62 points for positive and negative reporting attitudes, respectively. Regarding awareness of child abuse, a significant positive correlation was observed between positive reporting attitude (r=0.326, p<0.01) and awareness of mandatory reporting system (r=0.272, p<0.01). Conclusions: To increase the reporting rate among dental hygienists, awareness should be improved starting from the undergraduate level, perceptions of prospective dental hygienists should be reflected in the development and direction of educational programs, and it is necessary to increase accessibility to educational opportunities and continuously seek institutional and policy measures.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a cultural competence scale for nurses regarding the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community and to test its validity and reliability. Methods: The study adhered to the 8-step process outlined by DeVellis, with an initial set of 25 items derived through a literature review and individual interviews. Following an expert validity assessment, 24 items were validated. Subsequently, a preliminary survey was conducted among 23 nurses with experience caring for LGBT patients. Data were then collected from a final sample of 322 nurses using the 24 items. Item analysis, item-total score correlation, examination of construct and convergent validity, and reliability testing were performed. Results: The item-level content validity index exceeded .80, and the explanatory power of the construct validity was 63.63%. The factor loadings varied between 0.57 and 0.80. The scale comprised five factors: cultural skills, with seven items; cultural awareness, with five items; cultural encounters, with three items; cultural pursuit, with three items; and cultural knowledge, with three items; totaling 21 items. Convergent validity demonstrated a high correlation, affirming the scale's validity. Internal consistency analysis yielded an overall reliability coefficient of 0.97, signifying very high reliability. Each item is scored from 1 to 6 (total score range, 21-126), with higher scores reflecting greater cultural competence in LGBT care. Conclusion: This scale facilitates the measurement of LGBT cultural competence among nurses. Therefore, its use should provide foundational data to support LGBT-focused nursing education programs.

International index of erectile function (IIEF) has a high sensitivity and specificity for the evaluating treatment of erectile dysfunction. IIEF was used to evaluate on an international level the effectiveness of red ginseng on patients with erectile dysfunction and determine its possible development as a natural drug. 50 patients with erectile failure who were 20 years or older and without organic cause were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1(25 patients) received red ginseng 600mg three times a day and group 2 (25 patients) received placebo in the same fashion for 8 weeks. Each group was evaluated with IIEF at the start and end of therapy. Of the 50 patients 47 (group 1 24, group 2 23) who completed the 8 week therapy were evaluated. The mean age and symptom duration of the patients was 45.7$\pm$8.7 (27-68) and 6.2$\pm$5.6(1-29) years, respectively. Patient age, symptom duration. marriage status, marriage duration, partner age were not statistic significance between the two groups (p>0.05). Blood chemistry, urinalysis, and hormonal assay did not reveal difference between the two groups. primary efficacy (erectile rigidity and its maintenance) and all domains in secondary efficacy were significantly better after therapy in group 1 compared to those of group 2 (p<0.05) except for frequency of sexual desire, degree of sexual desire, and frequency of intercourse trial (p>0.05). Group 1 patients were significantly more satisfied after treatment compared to group 2 patients with 58.3% (14/24)and 26.1%(6/23) satisfaction rates, respectively. There were no adverse reactions or complications with ginseng adiminstration. Further study into the effects of saponin and ginsenoside that are the main substances in ginseng for erectile dysfunction is needed. In addition, its possible additive effect with ginseng and sildenafil should be elucidated in the future.

From one elementary school of last 2005 Pusan was started "the school police" system is being applied the effect in the elementary school of the human nature receiving entire country. But "with school police system " have a limit about manpower that is insufficient. So we try to make "Baumter-Gikimy " that is extended scollo police in seoul. Despite being like that at 2010 and 2011 cannot forget the elementary student suicide events which are shocking or sexual assault events occur from the campus.From elementary school 4 grade the students between junior high school 1 grade crime occurrence ratio are highest. These people the group leaving out mainly, suicide, with group violence and sexual assault problem gets up same problems. In order to solve like this problems stands the countermeasure of the dimension which is national certainly is necessary. But so far only the damage student and the parents have an interest in about like this problems and they hurt. We the smart phone of Android bases it will be able to solve like this problem points [ayp] from under planning and development boil the elementary student safe helper it will can use. When it uses the elementary student safe helper system which we propose before the accident occurs, it will grasp the state information of the student and it will be able to prevent an accident in advance. We will try to more efficient safe guard to elementary school student by real-time monitoring skill soon.

Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba L.) is one of the most appropriate roadside trees because of a good transplantation nature and ability to grow well in urban environment. Ginkgo is a dioecious species. Sex discrimination of ginkgo is possible through comparing morphological characters of reproductive organs. However, it needs more than about twenty years for reproductive organs to appear after sexual maturity. Until now, ginkgo trees for roadside plantation have been planted without discriminating the sex because ginkgo trees have been usually planted before sexual maturity. Ginkgo nuts from the female ginkgo trees planted along the roadside emit a foul odor, and make much pollution on the streets. Thus in this study a novel SCAR marker (SCAR-GBM) for the early sex discrimination was developed. Primers were developed on the basis of the sequence of male-specific RAPD variants reported previously. False-negative problem of SCAR marker, probably caused by dominant nature, was resolved by using multiplex PCR using primers of both the SCAR-GBM and a universal primer set of atp1 region in mitochondria DNA, which resulted in improved discrimination efficiency. The results showed that DNA bands of 1,039 bp were commonly amplified by the atp1 primer set in male and female trees, and SCAR-GBM markers of 675 bp were specifically amplified only in male trees. Reproducible and specific discrimination of the multiplex PCR was finally confirmed by applying multiple male and female individuals.

Background and purpose: Well being which emphasizes peace of mind and richness of spirit, has been already used from several thousands years ago, as the name of Yangsaeng(養生) when we regard it in the view point of oriental medicine. Yangsaeng means a person's daily life according to natural rules in order to compensate his essence qi spirit(精氣神) and to prevent and cure his disease for his long life, and there are environment, spirit, qigong, food, dwelling labor, sleeping and sexual intercourse as its methods. But in Korea, we are mainly using the health and concept of the health management and use of it, with the one developed in Western. Thus, in this study, literature study was made for the situation of research and feature of Yangsaeng method. Among them, I tried to study mainly on adapting method of Exercise Yangsaeng and its possibility which can derive harmonious development of Spirit and body for human body, in the view point of identity(整體觀). Methods: Diploma thesis and words of 'Yangsaeng', 'exercise cure', 'exercise therapy', and 'exercise prescription', in 'KERIS(Korea Education & Research Iformation Service).' Results and conclusion: In this study, in order to adapt oriental method of Yangsaeng to the reality, I selected and researched only Exercise Yangsaeng among various Yangsaeng methods including environment, spirit, qigong, food, dwelling labor, sleeping and sexual intercourse. The Exercise Yangsaeng has its advantage that it ran train both mind and body as well as it has various programs, but it is regarded at it is in need of more study as lows; First, it requires assessment on the effect of construction itself as well as degree management of Excercise Yangsaeng as a method of exercise which is being done in daily life or in the literature. Second, above all, standardization of Yangsaeng Exercise and specialized programs are required in order to introduce the Exercise Yangsaeng which was verified for its effect, to the cure of disease. Third, researches are required for the system of assessment management for measurement of relative effect of standardized programs. fourth, continuous compensation is required in the future by adapting researched and developed programs into the field.

The purpose of this study was to be of use for the preparation of more desirable sex education system at elementary school, by making content analysis of the current textbooks related to sex education and surveying what opinions the persons concerned had about it. The purpose of this study were as follows; Elementary school textbooks were analyzed to find out what kind of sex education was included in them. And questionnaires on how to improve school sex education content were prepared, by which 207 male and female teachers were surveyed in the city of Paju and Koyang, Kyonggi province. The conclusions were as follows; 1. Content Analysis of Textbook Sex Education The content related to sex education was relatively much included in textbooks of the right life, morality and physical education. Although morality was a subject to be instructed for the third-grade students or older, elementary school students virtually received sex education from the first grade, as the right life and the joyful life were a subject for the lower-grade students, and this met the goal of sex education or the need of the times. However, sex education content leaned heavily toward family, family life or parental love. There was no mutual complement among subjects, and no link among grades, either. 2. Teacher Opinion on Sex Education Content for Each Grade When the subjects were asked about if sex education content was appropriate for each grade, they answered 20 items should be more emphasized and 6 items might be left out. And there were 6 items regarded by them as one that should be rearranged in consideration of grade. 3. The Ideal Opinion of Sex Education Content The following model could be recommended for elementary school sex education, which was designed to meet the objectives of school sex education as much as possible and to offer a systematic link among grades, based on the findings by textbook analysis and Questionnaire survey, and on elementary school sex education materials recommended by the Ministry of Education: The content selected for the first grade of elementary school was my body, cleanness of genitals, male-female cooperation, and family cooperation. For the second grade, the selected content was male-female physical difference, male female psychological difference, parental and I(origin of a birth). For the third grade, the selected things were important a body(cleanness of genitals), birth of a life, and male-female comprehension and cooperation. For the fourth grade, the selected things were physical development, management of genitals, physiology and management of menstruation, propagation and growth of organism, concern for the other sex, comprehension of and cooperation with the other sex, and prevention of sexual violence. Four the fifth grade, the selected things were secondary sex characteristic, physiology and management of menstruation, operation for phimosis, understanding of seminal emission, structure and function of the genital organs, birth and growth of a baby, television/sex information, and mass communications/sex information. For the sixth grade, the selected things were secondary sex characteristic, understanding of seminal emission, male-female cooperation, male and female role, male-female manners, mass communications/sex information, family and family life. Finally, what should be taught in sex education must be studied constantly, as it should be revised or supplemented periodically, according to student's sexual maturity or social, cultural changes.

This study was conducted to find out the evidence of a sex attraction in the fall webworm moths, Hyphantria cunea D., in the fold conditions. The study dealt with the sex attraction between the sexes, selection of effective trap type, effect of moth age on the sex attractiveness, sex attractiveness after copulation, and the time of the sex attraction in the day, The trap was baited with a living moth in the cylindrical screened case 4cm. in long and 2.7cm in diameter. The traps were attached on the tree in a horizontal position at the height of about 3m. on the ground. A sex pheromone was evident in the female moth which attracted the male to the lure, and the modified sticky trap was most effective in this experiment. The trap consisted of a cylindrical powder milk can 11.5cm. in long and 10cm. in diameter with the entry hole 4.8cm, in diameter at both ends of the can, and the inside of can was lined with paper coated with acri-soil(sodium poliacrilate) to catch them. Males were mostly attracted to females during their first 2 days of life, and its attractiveness decreased with moth age, No males were attracted to females more than five days old, and no females lived for more than six days. After copulation, sexual attractiveness was decreased swiftly, Sexual attractiveness was found to be greatest between 4 and 6 A.M. Living females can be used as effective baits for luring the males to the fold trapt.
