The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of socialization of household work and to analyze the influence of demographic and psycho-social variable on socialization of household work. For the purpose of this study, questionnaires were administrated to 314 housewives in Pusan. For the statistical analysis were as follows; 1)The degree of socialization in the domain of food showed significant difference by number of family, number of children, housewife's age, housewife's education, husband's education, income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of housing showed significant difference by family pattern, housewife's education, husband's education, state of housewife employment. husband's occupation , income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of clothing showed significant difference by housewife's age, housewife's education, husband's education , state of housewife employment. husband's occupation, income and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of family management showed significant difference by number of children, housewife's age. state of housewife employment, income, period of marriage life and sex-role attitude. The degree of socialization in the domain of home management showed significant difference by housewife's education, husband's occupation, sex-role attitude and share of household work. 2) The socialization in the domain of food was influenced husband's education, income, housewife's education and sex-role attitude. Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences and needs about sex education of university entrants in Korea, and to identify the relationship among the levels of sex-related knowledge, sexual attitude and reproductive health promoting behavior. Methods: Totally 188 freshman year of two different university were recruited to reply. The design of study was a exploratory research, using a cross-sectional survey. A self-administered questionnaire was used to measure the experiences and needs about sex education. The data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: 95.2% of the experienced sex education but the level of satisfaction about sex education was 38.3%. The sex education methods that subjects wanted were comfortable and interesting using videos and practices. Sex-related knowledge significantly differed according to sex. Sexual attitude differed according to the experience of sex, the line of dating and the route of information about sex. There was positive correlations among sex-related knowledge, sexual attitude and reproductive health promoting behavior of female entrants. Conclusion: So sex education program, composed of knowledge, attitude and behavior should be interesting and helpful in order to fit current trends and fulfill university entrants' needs.
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the clothing image perception of elderly women according to the clothing types, the clothing colors, the perceiver's sex-role attitude, and gender. Result of factor analysis revealed that the dimensions of clothing image perception was classified into four categories: evaluation, youth, warmth, and activity. Perceiver's sex-role attitude and gender gave a significant influence on the perception of evaluation factor. Youth factor had an interaction effect on the clothing types, clothing colors, and sex-role attitudes. The persons with a conservative sex-role attitude perceived the clothing image of warm color suits as younger than the one of cold colors. The clothing image of a warm colored Hanbok (Korean traditional dress) was perceived milder than a cold one, but there were no difference in suits. Bright color suits make the wearer look younger, and cold color suits make the wearer look active. The clothing color had greater influences on the warmth and the evaluation factor than clothing types. Persons who have a conservative sex-role attitude perceived the differences according to clothing types and colors in a traditional way. It could be certified that perceiver's sex-role attitude was one of the variables influencing his/her perception in social interaction.
Purpose: This research was conducted to compare sex-related knowledge and attitude of 6th-grade elementary school students who participated in the field based learning and those with cooperative learning methods. Methods: The data were collected from June to July in 2009. The subjects of the study were recruited from the classes of the 6th grade conveniently assigned from the D elementary school located in Daejeon metro city. Total of 60 students were assigned either to the field based learning group, and the other 60 students to the cooperative learning group. The field based learning group received sex education at the Daejean Youth Sexuality Culture Center for 3 hours. And the cooperative learning group received sex education by cooperative learning method at the classroom for 40 minutes per session, once a week, for 3 weeks. The sex-related knowledge and attitude scales developed by Lee (2004) were used. The data were analyzed by $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and t-test using the SPSS/WIN V. 12.0 program. Results: The results were as follows. 1. Sex-related knowledge was not significantly different between the cooperative learning and the field based learning group. 2. Sex-related attitude was not significantly different between the cooperative learning and the field based learning group. Conclusion: In this study, sex-related knowledge and sex-related attitude of the cooperative learning group and the field based learning group were different from the lecture method groups in the earlier study. It is worthy of notice that the cooperative learning group and the field based learning group took relatively less time to improve their knowlede and attitude than the earlier lecture based group did.
The present study was made to contribute to thed improvement of the quality of jeans wear advertising, and to the establishment of more effective advertising policy by which the jeans wear advertisements can go well with the unique charateristics of jeans wear. The study analyzed the consumer's attitude and dimention of affective responses toward jeans wear advertisements by type of appeal. The research was implemented through the survery with a representative sample of 344 consumers residing in Seoul. Means, Standard Deviation, ANOVA, Duncan Test, Facor Analysis and Regression were imployed to analyze the data gathered. The results of the study are as follows : (1) There are four dimentions of affective responses toward jeans wear advertisements ; upbeat-activation dimention, erotic-activation dimention, calm-emotional dimention, negative emotional demention. (2) According to consumer's sex, there are significant differences in each dimention of their affective responses. Toward sex-appeal advertisements, men show high degree of affective responses in upbeat-activation dimen-sion and calm-emotional dimension. (3) There is a probability that non-sex-appeal advertisement covers wider range of consumer than sex-appeal advertisements. (4) There is no significant different in affective responses towards both sex-appeal and non-sex-appeal advertisement of jeans wear between and among sex·age and involvement level of consumer. (5) Men prefer sex-appeal advertisement to non-sex-appeal advertisement, while there is no significant differences between the attitude of female consumers toward sex-appeal adver-tisement and non-sex-appeal advertisement. (6) In particular, age of 15∼18 and 30∼35 group of female consumer show very positive attitude toward sex-appeal advertisement. Therefore, there is a need to segment female jeans wear market by age groups. (7) According to the age and the involvement level of consumers, there is a significant differences in their attitudes toward advertise-ment. In case of male consumers, group of low level involvement prefer sex-appeal advertise-ment to non-sex-appeal advertisement. While high level involvement group did not show any significant differences between the attitude toward sex-appeal advertisement and the attitude toward non-sex-appeal advertisement. And the age of 15∼24, low level involvement group of female consumers also more positive attitude toward sex-appeal advertisement than toward non-sex-appeal advertisements.
Objectives: This research has been conducted in order to conduct sex education using E-Learning which is currently taught to students of women's high school. 138 students at women's high school in Inchon were applied, and then they were divided two different groups: a comparison group of 69 students, a control group of 69 students. Method: A questionnaire used by the literature studies. After verifying content validity, it was modified and supplemented in this way: sex knowledge was 23, and sex attitude 25. Results: 1) Comparison group will show increased marks on sex knowledge after the education than before whereas those from control group. 2) Comparison group will show increased marks on sex attitude after the education than before whereas those from control group. Conclusion: From the results of this research, it can be said that the sex education using E-Learning was the most effective method in improving the sex knowledge and attitude of students at women's high school. Therefore, it is advisable that the sex education methods using E-Learning should be developed and applied continuously.
본 연구의 목적은 노인복지시설 종사자들을 대상으로 성 인식 수준에 따른 성 수용태도에 차이가 있는지와 성 인식 태도가 성 수용 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보기 위해 설계되었다. 이러한 연구를 통해 노인복지시설에서 노인들을 위한 성 관련 서비스를 실천하고 개입할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 노인복지시설 종사자의 성 인식 수준에 따라 성 수용 태도는 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 즉, 성 인식 수준이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단과 보통집단에 비해 성 수용 태도가 유의미하게 더 개방적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성 인식은 성 수용 태도에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 성 인식 수준이 민주적 일수록 성 수용 태도가 개방적인 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과에 따른 논의를 통해 노인복지시설 종사자를 위한 성 교육 프로그램 개발을 비롯한 사회복지실천을 위한 개입 방안을 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between three aspects of clothing behavior and sex role attitude. For Sex Role: sex role attitude was measured by Osmond-Martin's Sex Role Attitude Scale and Items selected from Smith, Ferree and Miller's Feminism Scale. For Clothing Behavior: a unisex clothing attitude questionnaire was developed for this study, and general clothing behavior was assessed with Kim; Won: Kim: Lee; and Jung's questionnaires dealing with modesty and the yin-yang continuum of design preference. The questionnaries were administered to a sample of 366 junior high school girls in Seoul. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation. The results were that, liberal attitudes toward sex role were positively related to unisex clothing attitude: liberal attitudes toward sex role were negatively related to modesty in clothing. Liberal attitudes toward sex role were related to the yin-yang continuum of design preference in clothing; that is, the persons having more liberal attitudes toward sex role preferred yang (masculine) design.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the high school teachers' sexual knowledge, attitude and their need of sex education for the students in Seoul. These data were collected by questionnaire in Oct. 1989. The result was compared by the type of teacher (school health nurse and high school teacher), involving in sex education or not, age, marital status and religion. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score of sexual knowledge of the school health nurses was higher than the high school teachers. (P<0.05) (the average correct answer rate:the school health nurses=80.85%, the high school teachers=62.65%)Female teachers who were involved in sex education got higher score than the male high school teachers and female teachers who were not. (P<0.05) The married female high school teachers got higher score than never-married. (p<0.05) 2. About the sexual attitudes, the respondents were asked in the Likert's four-point scale with 3 groups of questions that were anatomical and physiological terminology about sex, normal sexual life and immoral sexual life. About anatomical and physiological terminology about sex, they had a little positive feeling. (mean score= 2.62) The school health nurses and the male high school teachers had more positive feeling than the female. (P< 0.05) Also the aged and married male high school teachers had more positive feeling than others. (P<0.05) About normal sexual life, they had a little positive feeling and moderately permissive attitude. (feeling mean score=2.96, attitude mean score=3.23) The school health nurses and the male high school teachers had more positive feeling than the female. (P<0.05) And the male high school teachers had more permissive attitude than the female. (P<0.05) About immoral sexual life, they had strongly negative feeling and conservative attitude. (feeling mean score =3.49, attitude mean score=3.35) The school health nurses the female high school teachers had more negative feeling and conservative attitude than the male. (P<0.05) And the male protestant high school teachers had more conservative attitude than no-religion group. (P<0.05) 3. There was a weak correlation between sexual knowledge and attitude. 4. There was no significant difference about starting of sex education between the school health nurses and the high school teachers. (P>0.05) Generally, they answered that the starting of sex education about physical growth and development could bp given with the students' physical growth and development. But for the sex education about emotional and social development, they answered that the education should be given later than the emotional and social development of students. 62.1% of the school health nurses did sex education and 36.5% of the high school teachers did. The common contents of sex education were intersexual-fellowship(date), venereal disease and marriage. And the education about abnormal sex-behavior. divorce and sexual intercourse was given rarely.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of sex education using multimedia program on knowledge and attitude about sex. Method: The subjects of this study were 282 middle school boys in seoul. The data were collected from the 4th of Jun. to 30th of Jun. 2001. This program consisted of 6 subtopics and provided 3 sessions for each class. The per-test was given before the therapy to measure variables and the post-test was performed after intervention. The data were analyzed by the SAS program using t-test. Result: The results of this study are as follows. After intervention, the level of knowledge and attitude were increased significantly. Conclusion: The sex education using multimedia program is effective in helping middle school boys improve their healthy attitudes and thoughts toward sex.
