Methods : The data were collected from inpatients and outpatients who answered a self-report questionnaire. Independent t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), $X^2$-test, correlation analysis were used for data analysis. Results : According to the research on medical satisfaction degree, the overall satisfaction degree was 4.141. On each field, satisfaction degree related to the doctor service recorded the highest degree among others(4.474). Satisfaction degree related to the appropriateness of service was the second(4.091). On the other hand, satisfaction degree of using procedure was the lowest degree(3.857). • Purpose - Every company studies how to attract and retain new customers to increase competitiveness and profitability. Companies establish strategies to attract customers, secure competitive advantage and generate revenue. Businesses are looking for newer and better ways to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. One of the requirements for service differentiation is to make it a prerequisite for an engaging customer experience. Customer experience can be attained through service experience. Satisfaction determine whether to reuse the food service franchise. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of customer experience on the satisfaction and revisit intention of food service franchise. In this study, customer experience consists of three attributes such as service environment, food quality, and price fairness. Also, this study is to identify the importance of three service experience attributes of customer satisfaction and revisit intention using ANN (artificial neural network) analysis. Research design, data, methodology - The survey was conducted on customers who have visited franchise restaurants in one month in order to examine how service environment, food quality, and price fairness have been influenced customer satisfaction and revisit intention through online survey company (SM culture & contents). A total of 300 representative surveys were collected. Of those collected surveys, 26 were not used due to missing information, resulting in 274 as the final sample size. The sample size was more than 10 times more than the number of variables used in the structural model analysis. Results - The findings of this study are as follows: Service environment and price fairness have a significant effect on satisfaction. However, food quality did not have a significant effect on satisfaction. Finally, it was found that satisfaction had a significant effect on revisit intention. Meanwhile, according to the results of ANN analysis, satisfaction as a dependent variable was found to be the most important in male price fairness and service environment in female. Also, when the revisit intention is used as a dependent variable, both male and female price fairness are important. Also, when the intention to revisit is used as a dependent variable, both male and female price processes are important. Conclusions - First, a restaurant franchise enterprise needs to manage customer service experience. Customers should strive to eat and enjoy at a dining franchise store. Second, it is necessary to design a food service franchise shop as a customer-oriented service environment. Franchise companies need to improve the environment so that customers can use the store conveniently. Third, the restaurant franchise menu price needs to be cheaper than the alternative menu. The restaurant franchise menu needs to be constructed with a popular menu that can be used continuously by the customer, so that it can be set at a reasonable price.

Classification of Service Attributes and Strategic Customer Service Management based on the Asymmetric and Non-linear Relationship between Service Attributes and Customer Satisfaction (서비스 속성과 고객만족과의 비대칭적, 비선형적 관계에 근거한 서비스 속성 분류와 전략적 고객서비스 경영)

  • The principal objective of this study was to categorize service attributes on the basis of the asymmetric and non-linear relationship existing between service attributes and customer satisfaction. Researchers generally assume that service attribute performances and customer satisfaction are both symmetrical and linear. That is to say, improvements in attribute performance will inevitably result in increased customer satisfaction. However, this is not always the case. Certain attributes have been shown not to create satisfaction even when improved, and others do not create dissatisfaction even when their performance ratings become negative. Understanding this relationship is crucial not only to researchers, but also to service managers. Service managers can arrange their priorities with regard to which attributes must be improved or promoted first, in an environment of limited technical, financial, and human resources. Many studies into this asymmetric and non-linear relationship have recently been conducted, beginning with Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory (1976) and the disconfirmation theory, which was eventually developed into Kano's model (1984). This study attempted to determine the impact level of service attributes on incidents of satisfaction or dissatisfaction. It used 30 service attributes generated by Park (2008) in the CIT research into family restaurants. The data were collected from 600 participants, 300 incidences of satisfaction and 300 incidents of dissatisfaction, via an online survey. The t-test was used to confirm the difference between the satisfaction group's and dissatisfaction group's attributes. 11 attributes were found to be significant at a level of p>0.05. This indicates that the 11 attributes exerted different impacts on satisfaction and dissatisfaction, which confirmed the asymmetric and non-linear relationship. 14 attributes were categorized into the core service, 1 attribute into the quality service, 7 attributes into the basic service, and 8 attributes into the neutral service. Strategic customer service management was recommended for the 'A' family restaurant as an example, on the basis of the asymmetric and non-linear relationship and the characteristics of the four service factors.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationships among quality of health care service, service value, satisfaction and loyalty as perceived by hospital inpatients. Methods: A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 654 hospital inpatients. Analysis of the data was done with both SPSS Win 17.0 for descriptive statistics and AMOS 18.0 for the structural equation model. Results: The modified model yielded Chi-square=7.96 (p=.019), df=2, $x^2$/df=3.98, GFI=.99, AGFI=.96, RMSEA=.07, NFI=.99, CFI=.99, TLI=.98 and showed good fit indices. Three dimensions of quality had significant direct effects on service value. Functional quality, technical quality and service value had significant direct effects on customer satisfaction. Technical quality, service value, and customer satisfaction had significant direct effects on customer loyalty. Conclusion: These results suggest that quality of health care is an important element in service value, and through both quality and service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty can be enhanced. Further study with a larger sample from various hospitals and a longitudinal design is necessary.
