The Effects of Competence and Government Support Service of Micro and Small Business on Performance: Mediating Effects of Self Efficiency (소상공인의 역량과 정부지원 서비스가 성과에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Micro and small enterprises are businesses that absorb the most labor in Korea. The position of micro and small enterprises in the national economy has an important and strategic role because micro and small enterprises are quite dominant in the Korea economy. The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of the CEO' business experience, competency(job competency, money competency, digital competency), government support service(government support satisfaction, education support) on the performance. For this study, data was collected from 220 CEO by using questionnaires. The statistics analysis SPSS 24.0 was used, it is a factor analysis, reliability test and multiple regression analysis for hypothesis verification. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the effect of the CEO competency on the performance, it was found that among the competency factors, money competency and digital competency had a significantly positive (+) effect on the performance. Second, as a result of examining the effect of government support service on the performance, government support satisfaction, education support had a positive (+) effect on the performance. Thirdly, in the relationship between CEO' business experience, competency, government support service and performance, the mediating effect of self efficiency was significant money competency→self efficiency→performance, digital competency→self efficiency→performance.

The Influence of Healthcare Service Nature on Job Performance : The Moderating Effects of Individaul Personality (의료서비스의 서비스본질 특성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향 :개인성향을 조절변수로)

  • In this intangible good-oriented, modern service economy era, we have to first understand the characteristics of the healthcare service in order to enhance the competitiveness of the healthcare industry and achieve continuous growth. In addition, service nature and characteristics should be reinforced so that connections can be made to the organizational job performance. To achieve the aforementioned results, this study analyzes the direct effects service nature and characteristics have on job performance in the healthcare industry and investigates the indirect effects with individual personality as the moderating effect. While conducting this study, a total of 340 healthcare workers were surveyed. Survey data from a total of 315 workers were used for analysis during empirical investigation of the research hypothesis. According to the analysis, it was proven that interactivity and horizontality among service nature and characteristics have a positive (+) effect on job effectiveness. This means that customer needs can be identified at customer touchpoints to quickly and accurately provide customers with the products and services they want, while horizontality among service nature and characteristics have a positive (+) effect on job effectiveness. Also, with regards to the relationship shared between the customer or the patient, the job performance of healthcare workers may also improve if they provide customers with their desired service as an expert at the same level. In a rapidly changing healthcare environment, if the healthcare service nature and characteristics are put into practical use, it will be possible to propel the growth of hospitals and sustain it while investigating the moderating effects of individual personality, a partial moderating effect was observed for self-esteem and growth desire. As the study on service nature and characteristics came about only just recently, there is a needs for futher research. The study focuses on the healthcare service industry and hopefully, it will serve as a base study that can be applied to different service industries as well.

Analysis of the Industrial Linkage between Manufacturing and Service Industries and Its Implications: Comparison of Seoul and Busan (지역별 제조업과 서비스업의 상호 연관성 분석과 시사점: 서울과 부산의 비교)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the industrial linkage between manufacturing and service industries in Seoul and Busan. In this paper, the industrial linkage between the manufacturing and the service industry is analyzed through input-output coefficient and production inducement coefficient. The results are as follows. First, the linkage of the service industry to the manufacturing in Seoul was higher than that of Busan. Second, Busan had a low input proportion of the service industry supplied by its own area to the manufacturing, so that the effect of the growth of Busan manufacturing on the regional economy is limited. Third, the linkage of manufacturing to service industry in Busan was found to be higher than that of Seoul. Finally, policy directions for improving the industrial linkage between manufacturing and service industries were suggested based on the results.

Influencing Factors of the International Payment Service Quality at Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam

  • International payment is an essential part of the economy, which is beneficial to both commercial banks and trading enterprises. Moreover, service quality, which has been a key point of discussion for decades, relates to customer satisfaction. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing international payment service quality at the Join Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) from 2015 through 2019. This research deploys both quantitative and qualitative methods to discuss the effects of these components. Statistical data was examined through different tests, including reliability analysis, correlation, and regression analysis by SPSS 16.0. The authors obtain and analyze 157 valid responses from customer surveys, then by applying an integration SERVPERF and PSQM model, identify five main components: Reliability, Tangibles, Assurance, Convenience, and Responsiveness, which explain how the customer perceives the service quality of international payment activities at BIDV. The results show that these five factors have a positive relationship with service quality, in which, Reliability has the most significant impacts on service quality level. Besides, the findings not only contribute to the literature but also give some practical implications for BIDV to improve its international payment service quality and help them to obtain customer satisfaction in the fast-changing environment.

  • Provisioning service, which is one of the ecosystem service functions, means goods and services such as food and fuel that people get from ecosystem. Provisioning functions are closely related to the primary industry, a sector of economy. Excessive demand and use of human society can cause trade-offs among regulation, cultural, and supporting services. Therefore, it is important to perform evaluation ecosystem services periodically and to monitor the time series fluctuations to identify the impact of provisioning services on other ecosystem services (trade-off) and to maintain sustainable provisioning service. When it comes to the precise assessment of provisioning service, it is necessary to get the statistical data and standardize indicators and methods. In this study, indicators and methods, which are applicable to the spatial level of national-local-protected areas, were derived through literature analysis and expert survey. The result of this study implies that provisioning services measurement by spatial level improve the efficiency of the establishment of environmental conservation plans by whose purpose.

  • Recently a new government has announced an action plan known as the government 3.0, which aims to provide customized services for individual people, generate more jobs and support creative economy. Leading on from previous similar initiatives, the new scheme seeks to focus on open, share, communicate, and collaborate. In promoting Government 3.0, the crucial factor might be how to align the core services and policies of Government 3.0 with correspoding technologies. The paper describes the concepts and features of Government 3.0, identifies emerging Internet-based technologies and services toward the initiative, and finally provides improvement plans for Government 3.0. As a result, 10 issues to be brought together include: Smart Phone Applications and Service, Mobile Internet Computing and Application, Wireless and Sensor Network, Security & Privacy in Internet, Energy-efficient Computing & Smart Grid, Multimedia & Image Processing, Data Mining and Big Data, Software Engineering, Internet Business related Policy, and Management of Internet Application.

An Analysis of Studios on the Future Leading Industries in Korea (한국의 미래산업 연구의 현황과 과제)

  • The purpose of this analysis is to clarify the direction and nature of the future leading industries in Korea. Existing studies were analyzed in depth and their implications are as follows. Existing studies have not given a careful consideration for the structural adjustment of Korean economy and the atmosphere for the growth of prospective leading industries. In relation to the structural adjustment, the accomplishment of high value-added in existing industries and the promotion for high-tech industries as well as service industries should be the future direction of the future leading industries. In order to create atmosphere for the growth, it is crucial to achieve a social consensus about the nature of the prospective leading industries and is necessary to continue a concrete research on the related industries.

  • In this paper, suggests voice newspaper retrieval system in which newspaper companies classify the news fields into politics, society, economy, IT, international issue, culture, life, information and etc title by title and summarize them to provide wire or wireless newsretrieval service on the phone through design and realization of voice interface by using VoiceXML associated technology useful to design an application that makes it possible to communicate with computer like communicate with person without mouse or keyboard used, so that busy or blind people can receive news service more easily.

  • According the high growth of Korean economy, there are many changes in our life recently. As life quality is improved, the standard of construction is strengthen and subdivision. However, in many steps through which it passes until a building is planned, designed, constructed and completed, there are lots of problems among the law related architecture. Especially, there are many statutes which must be checked related to building permits and much wastes time and money in review because of overlapping laws related architecture. Furthermore, there are limitation of computerization and shortage of human power of administration in architecture. In this study, we propose six improvement programme of administration service in architecture. Through these program, civil applications like housing and economic condition could be improved consistently.

  • There are several types of communication method which is used for providing the supply of electric power stably. But the communication methods used in KEPCO have weak points in the viewpoint of economy, technology and management. Therefore the power plant located in the island could not be provided the communication service because of above reasons. Because the Satellite communication systems have competitive power in price and technology nowdays, the utility could provide the communication service in even back land. This paper presents some of design efforts for the satellite communication systems as the voice network in the island.
