  • Avian pneumovirus(APV), also known as avian rhinotracheitis(ARTV), affects both turkeys and chickens and is known to be the primary causative agent of turkey rhinotracheitis(TRT). The aim of this study was to establish the presence or absence of antibodies to APV by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and confirm APV by a reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). The tested serum and feces were collected from laying hens in Gyeongbuk province. The positive farms with antibody against APV by ELISA were 90(96.7%) of 93 and positive serum samples were 433(93.1%) of 465 different sera. By regional group, sera from Uiseong, Cheongsong and Bonghwa were noted as 100% positive and positive rates of samples from Yeongju, Andong and Yeongyang were 93.3%, 85.7% and 50%, respectively. However, APV was not detected in feces samples by RT-PCR.

  • The role of Customs Service has changed significantly in recent times, and what may represent core business for one administration may fall outside the sphere of responsibility of another. This is reflective of the changing environment in which customs authorities operate, and the corresponding changes in government priorities. Since the terrorist attacks on the United States in 2001, customs administrations around the world have been developing AEO programs in which they grant AEO status to operators who are well-compliant with the supply chain security standards. These programs also provide such operators with trade facilitation measures under the customs procedures, acknowledging the importance of ensuring secure and facilitated trade. Thus, this paper analysed leading countries's AEO program regime focused on the two fold : (1)provide an overview and present a implication of its AEO program ; (2)offer an appropriate proposal to Korea Customs Service's new program.

  • Digital content industry is growing rapidly because of the property of high-speed networking and greater demand for digital fulltext-image. However, we know the fact that it is many difficulty in production and supply for good quality of content. Hereupon, we suggest digital fulltext-image service framework to protect copyright. More concretely, we propose integrated model and reference model to securely serve digital fulltext-image by recompositing core objects and reconstructing the value-chain structure of digital content industry to framework including the process(from its production (creators or copyrighters) to consumption (users or consumers)). Also, we construct the digital fulltext- image service system based on reference model and reconstruct its interface that occurs between core subjects.

  • The purpose of this study was to survey on infection status of pathogens of diarrhea from Korean indigenous goat. A total of 800 fecal samples was collected from 50 farms from January to October 2015 and was tested by automatic biochemical machine and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The overall detection ratio of bacterial pathogens was 22.4% and viral pathogens was 16.3%, respectively. The detection ratio of Escherichia coli (E. coli), Salmonella spp., bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV), rotavirus and coronavirus were 21.5%, 0.9%, 7.6%, 5.6% and 3.0%, respectively. In the rates of mixed detection, single was 78.2%, double 8.4%, triple 11.6% and quadruple 1.8% in each sample and 38%, 12%, 16%, 20% in each farm, respectively.

  • We consider a finite-buffer discrete-time queueing system with fixed-size bulk-service discipline: Geo/ $G^{B}$1/K+B. The main purpose of this paper is to present a performance analysis of this system that has a wide range of applications in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and other related telecommunication systems. For this purpose, we first derive the departure-epoch probabilities based on the embedded Markov chain method. Next, based on simple rate in and rate out argument, we present stable relationships for the steady-state probabilities of the queue length at different epochs: departure, random, and arrival. Finally, based on these relationships, we present various useful performance measures of interest such as the moments of number of packets in the system at three different epochs and the loss probability. The numerical results are presented for a deterministic service-time distribution - a case that has gained importance in recent years.s.

  • Today, consumer needs are diversified, continually changing and differentiated. Under the market conditions of unlimited competition to satisfy those needs, businesses focus on relationship-building with customers, as well as on quality of service. As interests in the coffee market rise, in these days, coffee culture diffusion and coffee franchise chain increase have been proceeding under the lead of the young people. This study aims to find the effects of service quality on customer (Korean, Chinese and Foreigner) satisfaction using logistic regression. The results of this study show somewhat different characteristics depending on the characteristics of country people. It is expected that this study can be very useful in regard to similar business.

  • The fundamental design issues that arise in the pickup and delivery system planning are optimizing the system with minimum cost and maximum throughput and service level. This study is concerned with the development of pickup and delivery system with customer responsive service level, DCM(Demand Chain Management). The distribution process and service map are consisted of manufacturing, warehousing, and pickup and delivery. First we formulated the vehicle pickup and delivery problem using GIS-VRP method so as to satisfy the customer service requests. Second, we developed a GUI-type computer program using AVL, automated vehicle location system. The computational results show that the proposed method is very effective on a set of test problems.

  • The success of a construction project depends on efficient construction supply chain and service informationalization as types and quantities of materials in construction industry geometrically increase because the size of the construction industry increasingly becomes huge, high-rise, and complex. However, the omission of data for each step and the lower effect occurs because of uncertainty and inaccuracy of information as compared to other industries. In addition, it takes many hours to manage the present material states. Currently, IT technology and various mobile devices are being developed through the automation system of next generation intelligent construction supply chain management for the effective supply chain information management but the confusion regarding the recognition and transmission of the supply chain information between the multiple materials and transportation equipment using the IT and wireless network technology occurred. Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose the recognition mechanism which can deduce processes which caused the confusion of the recognition and transmission with supply chain information and solve the problems originated from the processes so as to solve the problems related to the confirmation and the communication of the correct supply chain information.

  • In this paper, we propose a behavior pattern analysis method for users tasking on hands-on security exercise missions. By analysing and evaluating the observed user behavior data, the proposed method discovers some significant patterns able to contribute mission successes or fails. A Markov chain modeling approach and algorithm is used to automate the whole analysis process. How to apply and understand our proposed method is briefly shown through a case study, "network service configurations for secure web service operation".

  • The differentiation of mouse embryonic stem(ES) cell into smooth muscle cells(SMC) may play a major role in cardiovascular development and under pathophysiological conditions. Therefore, in the present study, we have examined the differentiation of ES cells and its related gene expression. SMC differentiation was indicated by cellular morphology and time-dependent induction of dibutyryl adenosine 3,5-cyclic monophosphate(DBcAMP)and retinoic acid(RA) on smooth muscle ${\alpha}$-actin($SM{\alpha}A$), smooth muscle myosin heavy chain(SMMHC) gene expression. The control was undifferentiated ES cells(protein expressions represent 50-60kDaOct-4). The results of this study show that morphology of embryoid body and confirmation of $SM{\alpha}A$ expression by immunocytochemistry. Moreover, SMMHC and desmin expression was significantly increased by time dependent manner(5, 7, 15 days), in contrast to $SM{\alpha}A$ expression was slightly decreased on 15days. In conclusion, DBcAMP and RA stimulate mouse ES cells differentiation into SMC and enhanced $SM{\alpha}A$, SMMHC and desmin expression.
