Medical tourism is a contemporary phenomenon which has its root in both tourism and health service. Especially, Korea's medical tourism market has grown dramatically after activation of foreign patient attraction law. The purpose of this study is to find out which is the most influential factors among political, economic, relative and national image in case of Japanese tourists when they purchase Korean medical tourism. This study estimates the Japanese tourists' Trust in the Korean health service quality and tourism service quality. It means perception of medical tourism. The results are as follows; The political, relative and economic image not have any significant influences on tourism service and trust in health service quality. And just the national image has a positive influence on tourism service and trust in health service quality. Tourism service quality is related with trust in the health service quality. Trust in health service quality is only related with purchase intention of medical tourism. The implications of this study are: First, the national image factors such as thoughtfulness, high education and polite attitude should be utilized as a Korea medical tourism marketing strategy to differentiate itself from the other foreign country in Japan. Next, the differentiated national image in Japan will be the most important factors for Korean hospital and tourism companies to attract medical tourists.
The goal of this study was to investigate the influence of customer service quality on customer satisfaction. Also the object of this study is to indicate the influence on word of mouth and intention of repurchase which is a variable of customer satisfaction. The subjects were 357 female adults living in Suncheon City, Jeollanam Province. The questionnaires were conveniently sampled from June 1 to 30, 2006. The collected data was analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, factor analysis, reliability, regression using the SPSS program. The five hypotheses set in the research model, all were selected through empirical analysis. Main findings are as follows: As a result of factor analysis, customer service quality of discount store verified four items, that is, personal service, VMD of stores/atmosphere, store policy, product assortment. As a result of regression analysis, customer service quality influenced customer satisfaction. The intention of repurchase and word of mouth received a positive influence from customer satisfaction. The intention of repurchase influenced the word of mouth, and it received a positive influence from the word of mouth.
KakaoTalk has become a reputed mobile social network and an inseparable part of people's lives by leading the mobile industry in South Korea. However, there is a lack of studies in academia regarding perception of the consumers and assessment toward the mobile marketing and services by KakaoTalk. Based on the theoretical orientation of Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM: Petty & Cacioppo, 1986) and electronic service quality (E-S-QUAL: Parasuraman, Zeithaml, & Malhotra, 2005), this study investigates the effects of information sources (Charles & Richard, 1988), and examines the consumer perception toward the service quality of KakaoTalk. A total of 209 responses were collected, using a self-administered survey in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, South Korea from March 2015 to June 2015. A seven-point Likert scale survey was developed to measure the information sources (i.e., argument quality, post popularity, and post attractiveness), electronic service quality (i.e., efficiency, fulfillment, privacy, and system availability), attitude (i.e., usefulness, preference, and overall attitude), and behavioral intention (i.e., like intention, share intention, and purchase intention). This study reveals a consensus that an online environment is different from the traditional retail context in terms of information source and service quality. Specifically, the results indicate that argument quality greatly impacts the attitudes of the individuals and their behavioral intention toward mobile shopping via social media channel. The most powerful factor among E-S-QUAL is "efficiency." This dimension of service quality influences the customer perception of usefulness and preference as well as share and like intention toward mobile shopping on KakaoTalk.
The purpose of this study is to offer a base line data to facilitate entrance of a Korean fashion company into the Uzbekistan market by conducting a survey of the Uzbekistan students in Korea. This is done in order to gather data on their clothes wearing condition and factors affecting the purchase intention for Korean fashion products. In this study, a survey was conducted to 260 Uzbekistan students in Korea. The results of the study were as follows: 1) Uzbekistan students bought clothes mainly from road shops and the Internet. They bought a lot of pants, shirts, jackets, jumpers, and preferred to wear black, white, blue, and red color. The dissatisfactory parts were shown in order of the width of trousers, the length of the sleeve, and the shoulder. The most unsatisfying products were the pants and T-shirt. 2) They considered the aesthetics of the fashion products evaluation criteria, the human source and the internet advertisement of the fashion information source, and the customer service of the store selection criteria. These students showed very favorable attitude towards Hallyu and Korea. In addition, their preference and purchase intention for KFP were high. 3) The level of satisfaction on 'quality', 'color', and 'care' of KFP were very high, but lowest on the 'size' and 'price' of the clothes. 4) It was revealed that the attitude toward Hallyu and Korea, the satisfaction and preference of KFP, and demographics have a significant impact on the intention toward purchasing fashion products.
As a single-person household emerges as an important consumer group, an Online-to-Offline or Offlineto-Online(O2O) service market is rapidly growing. This study attempted to verify the effects of convenience and webrooming characteristics of O2O service using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the convenience and webrooming of food O2O service on users' perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and the effects of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on purchase intention of O2O services. Using a convenience sampling technique, an online survey was conducted through Google survey from April 16 to April 30, 2017 and was distributed to 447 O2O service users. A total of 320 questionnaires were included in the final analysis. The results showed that convenience had a significant effect on users' perceived ease of use as well as perceived usefulness. In addition, users' perceived ease of use had a significant impact on users' perceived usefulness. Finally, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness positively affected users' purchase intention of O2O services. These findings suggest that differentiated events, promotions, and store information should be provided when launching O2O service because webrooming is a more important factor in enhancing perceived usefulness than the perceived ease of use.

One of the most considerate phenomena of the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the use of digital devices. Digitalization is rapidly advancing through all areas of industry and life. Customer journey with digitalization is looking totally different from previous customer journey. The research targets were users of fashion, automobiles, cosmetics and online shopping malls. We analyzed 300 people for each valid questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows. First, it has been proven that digital experience affects positive (+) impact on purchasing intention and positive (+) impact on recommending intention and negative impact (-) on switching intent and subsequently affects positive impact (+) to purchase and incase of switching intent, negative impact (-) to purchase. Unlike traditional methods such as SPC(Service Profit Chain), the Digital experience to Purchase process Chain (DPC) has been identified to be suitable in the digital age. Second, the digital satisfied group (5 score-very satisfaction) has shown same result as above. However the digital neutral group (even though 4 score- satisfaction in five-point scale), specially in a highly competitive industry, has different from the satisfied group and 3 score-normal is same as dissatisfied group. It means that this group is that If there is a high level of attractiveness of substitute goods, there is a high possibility of switching them. It has supported Jones and Sasser [1995] that there have been two types of loyalty of true long-term loyalty and what we call false loyalty in the highly competitive industry zone which is commoditization or low differentiation, many substitutes, low cost of switching. Identifying true loyalty and false loyalty is crucial to establishing a customer experience strategy. it is necessary to actively utilize long-term digital experiences strategy to increase the total satisfaction of digital experience through all of customer purchasing journey in order to enhance the digital customer experience. It is difficult to see the effect as a one-time event. It should be scaled over the entire customer purchase process over a long period of time, which can positively affect purchase intention, recommendation intention, and conversion intention. This is also why it is difficult for second-runners to overtake first-runners in a short period.
This study investigated the effect of service provider's recovery effort and pre-failure customer-employee rapport on post-recovery consumer response such as satisfaction, purchase intention, and positive Word-of-Mouth communication. First, this study explored the interaction effect of recovery effort and customer-employee rapport on post-recovery consumer response. The result shows when the level of pre-failure customer-employee rapport is high, customer's positive responses decreased slightly even though they perceived low recovery effort. However, when the level of pre-failure customer-employee rapport is low, customer's responses were decreased considerably in case of low recovery effort. Second, this study examined 'service recovery paradox' which is post-recovery consumer's satisfaction is greater than the case of no service failure. The result shows recovery paradox was not supported in all samples regardless of the level of recovery effort and customer-employee rapport. Synthetically, customer-employee rapport took a buffering role in customer response after service failure although it's not the same as error-free state.
With the expansion of EC and the development of culture industry, Web-site shopping of cultural products have become recognized as one of the major purchasing channels for customers, as well as one of the competitive distribution channels for film distributors or theater group. The research is to investigate the impact of information quality and user interface quality on information service satisfaction and online purchasing intention of cultural products. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Both information quality and interface quality have meaningful influence on information service satisfaction and purchase intention. 2) Information service satisfaction gives significant impact on online purchasing intention irrespective of the level of customer involvement. 3) Information quality has a meaningful influence on online purchasing intention in case of high level of customer involvement, while interface quality gives strong impact on online purchasing intention in case of low level of consumer involvement. In conclusion, there is a need to consider the level of customer involvement for building a successful marketing strategy of online purchase sites of cultural products.
Recent developments in information and communication technologies (ICT) can be applied in stores, and the number of fashion stores that have introduced and utilized ICT are increasing. By applying a literature review and empirical research, the types of ICT service factors of fashion stores were identified and categorized. The effect of their importance on consumer behavioral intentions was analyzed. Next, using factor analysis on the ICT service factors, five factors were identified and named as follows: smart space services, smart payment services, virtual image services, product information services, and smart access services. The importance of these factors was then analyzed. The importance of each factor and detailed questions was rated above average. After examining the effect of ICT service on behavior intention, issues such as purchase intention, revisit intention, and word of mouth intention were found to have significant influence. This study is meaningful in that it derives the importance factors of ICT services that can be used in fashion stores in a situation where retail techniques become important and expand, and provides marketing strategies related to consumer behavior according to detailed factors. With retail tech becoming more important and expanding, it is necessary to provide various services that consumers value by utilizing ICT in fashion stores. Considering the results of this study, ICT technology and services of various fashion stores can be effectively utilized and retail tech utilization performance can be improved.
The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of two types of social capital on trust and purchase intention of food products. In addition, the moderating roles of perceived risk and SNS receiver characteristics were also examined. The survey for this study was conducted from the 17th to the 30th of June, 2016 through SNS using the convenience sampling method. A total of 230 responses were collected, of which 200 were used for analysis, after excluding responses containing missing data. Multiple regression and moderated regression were conducted to verify the hypotheses. The results from this study are as follows. First, it was found that social capital (bridging social capital and bonding social capital) had an effect on trust of food product. Second, perceived risk of food product was found to moderate the relationship between social capital (bridging social capital and bonding social capital) and trust. Third, trust of food product significantly impacted purchase intention. Fourth, SNS receiver characteristics of food product were found to moderate the relationship between trust and intention;, and trust of food product was found to mediate the relationship between bridging social capital and purchase intention.
