Development of Optimal Bus Scheduling Algorithm with Multi-constraints (다중제약을 고려한 최적 버스운행계획 알고리즘 개발)

  • After Seoul has introduced semi-public bus management system(public management-private operation), the Seoul Metro Government needs a scientific management tool for optimal scheduling for bus routes, to reduce unnecessary operations and provide demand responsive service. As a product of this effort, this paper proposes a heuristic model that could minimize total passenger waiting time under the constraints, such as number of vehicles, working conditions, max load point, minimax headway. etc. For verifying the validity of the proposed model, it is applied to an existing bus route. It results that headways in rush hours become decreased and the passenger waiting time could be decreased. In conclusion. it is thought that the Proposed model contributes to efficiency of bus operation.

Finding Smartphone's Factors which Affect Satisfaction or Dissatisfaction based on KANO Model (KANO 모델을 활용한 스마트폰의 만족 및 불만족 요인 분석)

  • The current study categorizes factors of smartphone into three, using KANO model: attractive factors which cause only product satisfaction, must-be factors for dissatisfaction, and one-dimensional factors for both. Based on it, it presents a new model for the effects that smartphone factors have on satisfaction or dissatisfaction. The purpose is to theoretically explain that smartphone factors on which companies and users place a high value can actually affect satisfaction or dissatisfaction. After choosing 15 factors out of 25 which had been selected through literature study, these were divided into attractive, must-be, and one-dimensional ones. 93 out of 109 questionnaires returned were used for analysis. After frequency analysis using SPSS were conducted on the surveys, the factors were grouped, based on KANO table. The grouping results are as follows. Attractive factors include 'expansion slots for external memory, battery desorption, brand awareness, mobile banking and internet telephony'. Must-be ones include 'multi-touch, information security, entertainment, information retrieval, location based service and SNS. Finally, 'screen visibility, size of internal memory, the amount of internal memory, battery life, and response to after-sales service' are classified as one-dimensional factors. A critical finding of this paper is that since the results are different depending on the operating system of smartphones, it must be taken into consideration in studies on smartphones. The wide and rapid spread of smartphones has changed people's lifestyle as well as business environment, which forces companies to compete with each other to adapt to the changed circumstances. In this competitive system, studies on smartphone factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction are essential for firms to establish a new strategy. From this point of view, the present paper is expected to be a basic material for enterprises not only to develop goods and services that maximize customer satisfaction and minimize dissatisfaction, but also to establish the future business strategy.

  • Recently, the main concerns of enterprise management activities is how to strengthen the competitiveness to quickly respond to changes and sustain the growth in business environment. As IT(Information Technology) has become to be viewed as a key driver for the business competitiveness, new paradigms, such as business and IT alignment, IT-driven product/service innovation and so on, are regarded as the hot topic in many industries. However, previous studies related to IT evaluation, which is more critical than any other IT activities, have focused on quantitative IT deployment, utilization and its economical effects. Therefore, this study presents the newly-developed evaluation domains and items based on four pairs of relative concepts in industrial informatization, and their multi-dimensional analysis methodology which explains various types of IT characteristics of enterprises. And finally, pilot tests at 2 companies in financial service sector will be performed in order to verify the practicality of the evaluation system.

  • Emerging as a strategic domain of the service industry, the drone logistics industry is evolving into a zero effort industry, which realizes smart device service ranging from corporate services to daily customer services. The role of the drone industry is becoming increasingly important in strengthening national competitiveness, as well as corporate competitiveness, beyond the strengthening of product competitiveness. Although drones have various strengths and weaknesses for industries, there are plenty of possibilities for diverse disputes and conflicts due to lack of related laws, regulations, and institutional norms, as well as unsolved problems related to technologies and operations; that is, there are still policy tasks and problems to be solved such as unauthorized seizure of drones, hacking, protection of personal privacy, safety concerns, regulation and limitation of flying areas, damage relief, and dispute settlements. Thus, in order to vitalize the drone industry as a future growth engine while responding to the changes in the environment of the drone industry in Korea and overseas and to strengthen national and corporate competitiveness by harmonizing with advanced management innovations, it is necessary to conduct in-depth discussions and review policy issues related to the vitalization of the drone industry. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to review the domestic and overseas realities and statuses of the drone logistics industry and application cases, analyze policies regarding the drone logistics industry of each country, review general theories on the solution of disputes arising out of the transactions in the drone logistics industry, and, as a conclusion, suggest desirable policy issues for the vitalization of the drone logistics industry in Korea.

  • Today, the development of internet brings many changes in formation exploration and acceptance. Not only the customers can come into contact much information about the firm and its product by quick and easy search, but also they produce information by themselves or can spread the information via the internet. Nowadays, customers are progressive information explorer and producer on online. In this sense, this study examined the effects of e-word-of-mouth information characteristics on the consumer's perceived usefulness and perceived acceptance of e-word-of-mouth information in the food service industry in order to suggest directions to enhances marketing strategies for marketer. The research model for this study was designed based on the hypothesis that the characteristics of e-word-of-mouth information and credibility of the information influenced both the user's perceived usefulness and acceptance. Based on total 277 customers obtained from the empirical research, this study reviewed validity, reliability and fitness of research model. The analysis results on these factors are as follow. First, the characteristics of e-word-of-mouth information; vividness, consensus, direction had an influence on the customer's perceived usefulness. Second, the characteristics of e-word-of-mouth information; vividness, consensus, direction had an influence on the customer's perceived acceptance. Third, the reliability of information had an influence on the customer's perceived usefulness and the credibility of e-word-of-mouth information perceived acceptance. Fourth, the customer's perceived usefulness had an influence on the customer's perceived acceptance.

Meta Analysis of International Commerce and Information Review (통상정보연구 메타분석)

  • This study is a meta-analysis of the articles published over the last 18 years from the first edition of the "International Commerce and Information Review" to December 2016. 1047 papers were published in "International Commerce and Information Review" until 2016. Many articles appeared in the order of electronic trade field, product and service innovation field, regional trade information field, trade law system field, and trade negotiation field. There are more than 15 major fields of authors who have published more than 20 papers."International Commerce and Information Review" is a multi-disciplinary journal by scholars in various major fields. Most of the authors belong to universities and the proportion of papers that receive research grants is 19.7%. 46 authors have published more than 5 papers in "International Commerce and Information Review", and their H-index is 5.6. Influence Index (IF) of the "International Commerce and Information Review" in 2016 is 1.02. The main keywords of the papers published in "International Commerce and Information Review" are e-commerce, Internet, service trade, China, e-trade, Korean Wave, FTA, SME and foreign direct investment.

Logistics will be one of the most important industries in the 21st century. Logistics, especially in related to EC presents enormous potential opportunities for logistics Companies.   • In this era of ubiquitous service, a computing device has functions similar with human beings. It influences all major fields of human life, such as clothing, dieting and housing. In order to use the coordination functions of the magic mirror, which might be a basic part of clothing in the era of ubiquitous service, this study concentrates on product information that should be inputted in RFID chip in detail in order to exercise virtual fashion coordination. Information should be inputted in RFID chip to use magic mirror for fashion coordination, a direction for doing this was also suggested. After coding the suggested clothing items, virtual fashion coordination was implemented as a fashion illustration. This study is as following, First, sorts standard code for suitable coordination in 4 images and presented to a proof. Code denoted by 10 characters. Each code literal special quality marks by two characters and divided by season, image, fabric, item, rotor, five items. Item middle of characters of 10 code, when agree on article more than 8, coordination is enabled. Secondely, It is presented by coordination to dressing action picture by suitable coordination classified apart in whole occasions, and coordination method by wearer inclination is remembered wearer's dressing action picture to Magic mirror including layered look. Thirdly, wardrobe of Magic mirror clothes that always buy newly in magic mirror, is washing and clothes that do not take to wardrobe did to be controlled. Fourth, Wealth and schedule is suggested firster than wearer's dressing action.

The Effect of 6 Sigma Program on Culinary Quality Performance, Work Commitment, and Customer Loyalty in the Culinary Division (호텔, 급식 및 외식업소 조리부서에서의 6시그마 기법이 조리품질성과, 업무몰입 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • A recurrent theme within the literature on the 6 Sigma program is the study of its effect on organizational performance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 6 Sigma on culinary quality performance, work commitment, and customer loyalty in the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants. The samples of this study included the employees of the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants that implemented or were about to implement the 6 Sigma program. A total of 248 questionnaires were analyzed with statistical methods of factor analysis, reliability test, and regression analysis. The findings of this study showed that the 6 Sigma program affected the culinary quality performance and work commitment of culinary division employees. Also, the 6 Sigma program, culinary quality performance and work commitment affected customer loyalty. Furthermore, work commitment affected culinary quality performance. Based on these research findings, it is required that the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants should incorporate the 6 Sigma program. For this purpose, good quality data should be collected with sufficient preparation procedures, and task force team should be made. Moreover, experts in this field should be cultivated, with the training of employees in mind. It is also crucial that the current quality of product and services be measured and that all the employees of the culinary division participate in the implementation of the 6 Sigma program. The intervention and heavy participation of the top management and head of the culinary division is expected for the successful implementation of 6 Sigma program.

Research on e-book Market Activation Factor in the viewpoint of CPND Eco-system : Focused in the Publisher AHP (CPND 생태계 관점의 전자책 시장 활성화 요인 연구 : 출판사 실무자 AHP를 중심으로)

  • In this study, we derived key factors required for the activation of the domestic e-book market and evaluated its importance. Specifically, we derived key evaluation items of C-P-N-D ecosystem perspective through literature review. In addition, we analyzed the implications by evaluating the importance depending on AHP after derived items were modified and classified together with the publisher working group. As the results of analysis, experts considered price(0.785), quality(0.149) and service(0.066) as the important items among three items derived as the primary upper class. A total of 23 factors were derived as the secondary lower class. The importance depending on C-P-N-D areas is as follows: contents(0.43), platform(0.35), device(0.11) and network(0.05). Among the entire sub-factors, three items such as 'distribution of profits with platform', 'profitability of product costs of contents' and 'appropriate rental price of contents and streaming service' showed significantly higher importance than that of other 20 items.
