의료기관의 사회적 책임활동(HSR)이 조직건강성과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Hospital Social Responsibility Activities on Organizational Health and Customer Orientation)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the effect of hospital social responsibility(HSR) activities on organizational health and customer orientation. Methods: We conducted an online survey with hospital employees and analyzed the questionnaires of 206 selected respondents. A regression analysis was performed to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Results: First, 'consumer issues', 'community involvement and development', and 'fair operating practice' factors in HSR influenced 'medical environment suitability' in organizational health. The 'fair operating practice' factor in HSR affected 'management environment suitability' and 'community orientation' in organizational health. The 'labor practices' factor in HSR affected 'practices suitability' and 'vitality' in organizational health. Second, the activities on 'consumer issues' and 'environment' in HSR have influenced 'Reliability', 'Reactivity' and 'Tangibility' in Customer Orientation. The activities on 'consumer issues' have affected 'Empathy'. Conclusions: The results of this study provide a positive direction for medical institutions as they conduct HSR activities and provide a basis for establishing effective HSR strategies.

이용자 행태분석 기반의 SaaS 서비스 발전 전략 (Development Strategy of SaaS Service based on User Behavior Analysis)

  • 클라우드 서비스의 등장과 진화는 정보통신기술 발전에 기여한 가장 큰 잠재력을 가진 기술 중에 하나이다. 클라우드 서비스의 잠재력을 발휘하기 위해서는 서비스 제공자와 소비자관점에서 다양한 이슈들에 대한 명확한 정의와 이해가 필요하다. 클라우드 서비스에 대한 기존의 논의는 주로 사업자의 입장에서 클라우드 비즈니스 모델의 발굴, 수익 모델의 발굴, 기술 발전에 따른 전망 등에 초점을 맞추어져 왔고 정작 서비스 이용자는 상대적으로 낮은 관심을 받아온 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 서비스 중 SaaS 서비스의 이용자 측면에서 서비스 이용행태를 분석하고 이를 기반으로 향후 SaaS 서비스의 발전 전략에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 SaaS 서비스 이용자를 현재 서비스를 이용하고 있는 이용자군과 현재에는 SaaS 서비스를 이용하지는 않지만 향후에는 서비스를 이용할 의도를 가지고 있는 잠재 이용자군으로 구분하여 설문조사를 수행한 설문결과를 토대로 이용자의 이용행태를 분석하였다. 궁극적으로 본 연구에서는 이용자의 행태분석 결과 기반의 SaaS 서비스의 발전 전망, 발전 전략 및 정책과제를 제시하였다.

장기요양 시설서비스 이용자의 소득수준별 본인부담금에 대한 인식 차이 (Differences in Family Caregivers' Opinions about Out-of-Pocket Payment for Long-Term Care Facilities by Income Levels)

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to investigate family caregivers' opinions about out-of-pocket payment for long-term care (LTC) facilities, and find the differences in the opinions for family caregivers of all different levels of income. Methods: We used the data of the study on out-of-pocket payment in national long-term care insurance, including 1,552 family caregivers with the elderly in long-term care facilities. Results: The average out-of-pocket payment per month was 511,635 Korean won and distributed from 230,750 to 1,365,570 Korean won. The amount of out-of-pocket payment might be affected by not co-payment but the cost of non-covered service. There were differences in them for family caregivers of all different levels of income. Opinions were surveyed about 5 issues. By levels of income, there were differences in their opinions about 3 issues, the financial burden on LTC, the necessity of reducing out-of-pocket payments, and to be willing to pay more for a high quality service. But there were not different opinions about the interruption of LTC service and staying with LTC facilities. Conclusion: These findings suggest that the range of out-of-pocket payment for LTC facility is wide and it can be a burden to lower income group. It should be to prepare the policies to ease the financial burden and support the appropriate LTC use.

  • Customized service is a vital and mandatory element for apps in improving their technical performance and app customer analysis. While apps require users' consent for their data extraction and usage, many of the terms and agreement forms are written intricately, making it harder for users to fully understand the whole concept of users' data collection for customized services. Ever since the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal, personal data privacy has been re-examined, forcing many app companies to reinforce a reliable solution to data privacy issues. However, there has not been a secured solution, which worries many people about the future advanced issues when metaverse platforms are actively used in daily apps. The research aims to collect the reactions and behaviors of everyday app users who utilize apps with customized services to understand the nature of privacy data issues and the users' opinions about the future implementation of metaverse platforms. The method of the research was an online questionnaire that targeted university students. The study revealed many fearful and anxious reactions about personal data and further metaverse issues where most app users were uneducated about how current apps collect and utilize users' private data.

내부서비스품질 측정 도구의 신뢰성 및 타당성 분석 (Replication of Internal Service Quality Battery : The Assessment of Its Reliability and Validity)

  • Internal marketing has been suggested as the approach for service organizations to be service-and customer-oriented; and the issues of internal service quality has been one of topics widely discussed in the internal marketing literature. While previous studies have attempted to develop the instrument assessing the internal service quality, ISQB(internal service Quality battery) developed by Kang et al.(2002), compared to other instruments have received some attention given its rigorous approach to measure the internal service quality. However, it has been noted that the validity of ISQB does not appear to be thoroughly examined while the reliability of the instrument seems to be secured. The current study attempts to readdress the psychometric properties of ISQB through the replication of the instrument. The empirical testing including confirmatory factor analysis and correlational analyses show that the instrument is reliable and valid in terms of its discriminant and nomological validity.

Optimal Packet Price for Differentiated Internet Services

  • As the Internet service evolves from the best effort data service to a multimedia service such as a mix of voice, data and video, a need for the guarantee of the quality of service to network services became one of the hot issues for the network operators. On the other hand, the introduction of the multimedia services over the IP network requires a managed differentiated service that adopts a prioritized treatment of packets. This incurs a need for a differentiated pricing scheme for the packets that receive different level of quality of service. This work proposes an analytic framework about packet pricing scheme for these services, and investigate the effect of service differentiation to the packet price for each class. Via numerical experiment, we validate our argument and illustrate the implication of the work.

안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 SaaS(Software as a Service) 인증제도 개발을 위한 프레임워크 (A Framework to Develop Safe and Reliable SaaS Certification Systems)

  • 최근 IaaS(Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS(Platform as a Service), SaaS(Software as a Service)를 포함한 클라우드 서비스의 등장과 진화는 정보통신기술 발전에 기여한 가장 큰 잠재력을 가진 기술 중에 하나이다. 현재의 클라우드 관련 연구들은 기술 자체에 중점을 두고 있으나, 클라우드 서비스를 둘러싸고 있는 비즈니즈 측면에서의 이슈들에 대한 이해도 시급하다. 점점 더 많은 개인과 기업의 정보들이 클라우드 서비스에 놓이게 되면, 주된 관심은 어떻게 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 클라우드 서비스를 제공할 것인가에 맞추어지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 클라우드 서비스 중에서 그 중요성이 더 커지고 있는 SaaS에 대하여 초점을 맞추기로 한다. 성공적인 SaaS 서비스를 위해서는 SaaS 서비스의 안전성과 신뢰성을 보증할 수 있는 인증제도의 수립이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 SaaS 서비스를 위한 인증제도의 프레임워크를 개발한다. 이를 위하여 SaaS 서비스 품질과 인증과 관련된 핵심 이슈들을 식별하고, SaaS 서비스 영역과 SaaS 서비스 제공자 영역의 인증제도를 위한 시스템적인 프레임 워크를 개발한다. 또한 개발된 인증제도의 평가방안도 제안한다.

고령화사회대비 노인안전사고 예방방안 (Prevention for the elderly safety issues to prepare for an aged society)

  • The usual reasons for elderly safety accidents include lack of care for disaster, physical disability, and an error of judgment and so on. But it is true that accidents will occur continuously with the afore-mentioned causes. Against the elderly safety accidents, safety is the main prerequisite for leading the successful and easy life in the elderly. Therefore, this study is purposed to provide the way of thinking about elderly safety issues by suggesting the methods and contents of education program. This study is specifically focused on developing audio-visual materials involved in all the safety accidents and researching the effect of safety education ability through materials with a view to identify the substantial problems. Education program should make a continuous and long term study so that the curricula of the safety accidents prevention education can be done systematically.

NGN에서의 개방형 IPTV 서비스 (Open IPTV Services over NGN)

  • Internet protocol television (IPTV), one of the most emerging services, offers multimedia streaming services with security, reliability, and relevant quality of service (QoS)/quality of experience (QoE). It provides added values to all the involving players and also brings technical and business challenges to them. For IPTV services, we expect to adopt the next generation network (NGN) environment for high quality and the Web technologies for personalization to meet the customer's necessity. Web can provide an open, flexible, and agile platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose personalized IPTV services based on Web-based open platform in NGN environment and present functional architecture for Web-based personalized IPTV services. Technical issues for deploying the proposed IPTV services using Web are also provided. The objective of this paper is to analyze the critical architectural issues for developing viable and feasible networking platform models for personalized IPTV services.
