A Empirical Study on the Obstacles to the Adoption of Electronic Bill of Lading - Focusing on the Bolero Bill of Lading - (전자선화증권 도입의 장애요인에 관한 실증적 연구 - 볼레로 전자선화증권을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify key obstacles to the adoption of electronic bill of lading and to suggest an effective way to promote the utilization of electronic bill of lading in international trade field. This study finds that all the respondants have not used 'true' electronic bill of lading that is issued and distributed electronically, and most of them agreed the needs of e-B/L adoption, but their intentions to adopt e-B/L remain very low in the present situation. Five obstacles to the adoption of e-B/L were derived from an explanatory factor analysis: 'integration' factor, 'law institution' factor, 'usability' factor, 'economic efficiency' factor, and 'security' factor. Solutions to promote the utilization of e-B/L in international trade field are as follows; Firstly, to endow e-B/L with the legal force through amending relevant laws including the commercial law. Secondly, to conclude the relevant international agreement, and to carry out joint projects between nations are needed. Thirdly, to conduct publicity campaigns is required to increase the understanding of the concepts and benefits of e-B/L to all concerned parties. Fourthly, stable and reliable system must be constructed with high level security. Fifthly, to readjust the service fee of e-B/L system to a realistic level is to be needed in order for user companies to use e-B/L service.

Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Health Insurance Review Team Leader and Member (진료비 심사부서장 및 부서원의 직무만족도와 조직몰입도)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that affect the performance of health insurance review department workers of Korean tertiary hospitals, general hospitals and hospitals. A survey was conducted through structured questionnaire for chiefs and members of health insurance review departments of hospitals, and data from 1,064 respondents were utilized in the final analysis. Survey items included general characteristics of the hospitals and health insurance review departments, job satisfaction and organizational commitment as organizational effectiveness. As multiple linear regression results, in the case of chiefs, the most significantly related factor to job satisfaction was a monthly salary. The other related factor was job stress. In the case of members, the most significantly related factor was job stress. The other related factors were more monthly salary, religious believer, and less complex workplace, in order. As organizational commitment, in the case of chiefs, the most significantly related factor was a monthly salary. The other related factor was more clinical experience. In the case of members, the most significantly related factor was job stress. The other related factors were more monthly salary, tertiary hospitals, more age, and less complex workplace, in order.

A Study on Selection Factors of Personal Cloud Storage Service Using AHP (AHP를 활용한 개인 클라우드 스토리지 서비스 선택 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, many internet users are using cloud computing. Users can manage, store and share their data and information by using personal cloud storage. In this paper, we aim to figure out influencing factors on personal cloud storage selection. The causal relationship between factors were identified through a importance analysis by using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). AHP is a structured technique for organizing and analyzing complex decisions, based on mathematics and psychology. Research model consists of upper factorsincluding system factor, service factor and user factor. 12 lower factors and 6 alternatives were also analyzed. Asa result, system factor of 3 upper factors was found as the most important factor. Purpose-coincidence, security andaccessibility were top 3 factors among lower factors. N drive showed top importance value. We also conducted ANOVAby classifying 4 groups according to gender, age, currently used cloud and cloud to use. The results of this researchcan be useful guidelines for cloud computing industry.

Analysis of Customers' Satisfaction Factors Regarding Large Food Court Service (푸드 코트 서비스의 고객만족 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of the study was to identify customers' satisfaction factors regarding foods and services in food courts in big department stores and discount stores in Seoul and Cheonan. A survey of 235 customers was conducted regarding customer satisfaction levels and factors of food and services. Customers' perceived level of attributes were identified into eight underlying dimensions by factor analysis as follows: factor 1 was "cleanliness": factor 2 "service quality": factor 3 "accuracy": factor 4 "atomosphere": factor 5 "food quality": factor 6 "menu information": factor 7 "price" and the eighth factor was "food result". Regression analysis indicated that "cleanliness" was found to be the most important factor contributing to customers' overall satisfaction. There were significant differences in customers' perceived satisfaction level of "food quality"(p<0.01), "accuracy", and "price" factors(p<0.05) between department stores and discount store. The customers' perceived satisfaction levels of "accuracy", "food quality" and "price" factor at a large store food court are higher than those of department store food court. Comparing location of food court, there were significant differences in customers' perceived satisfaction level of "accuracy" and "price" factors between in Seoul and Cheonan(p<0.001). The customers' perceived satisfaction levels of "accuracy" and "price" at the discount store in Seoul are lower than those of food court at Cheonan. It is suggested that the management should pay attention to the sanitation of their dinning halls, kitchens, hygienic dishes, hygienic water fountain, employee hygiene, and a proper place to put used dishes to increase the customers' satisfaction.

Measuring the Causal Relationships of Restaurant Service Quality and Perceived Sacrifice, Value, Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit in Tourist Area (관광지에서의 음식점 서비스 질, 지각된 희생, 가치, 만족과 재방문 의도의 인과 관계 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the effects of the perceived sacrifice, service quality, value and satisfaction on the intention to revisit restaurants. A total of 273 questionnaires were completed. The equation model was used to measure the causal effects. The results demonstrated that the confirmatory factor analysis model provided an excellent model fit. The modified model yielded a significantly better fit to the data than the service quality model, and accounted for a greater share of the variance in intention to revisit than the service quality model. The effects of value and service quality on intention to revisit were statistically significant in both the service quality model and modified model. The effects of perceived sacrifice and service quality on value were statistically significant in the service quality model and modified model. As expected, service quality had a significant effect on satisfaction in the modified model. Satisfaction had a significant effect on intention to revisit in the modified model. Satisfaction also had a significant effect on service quality in the service quality model. Moreover, service quality had an indirect influence on intention to revisit through value and satisfaction in the modified model. Service quality had an indirect influence on the intention to revisit through value in the service quality model. The overall findings offer strong empirical support for the intuitive notion that improving service quality can increase favorable intention to revisit, and decrease unfavorable intention to revisit.

  • The object of this study is to empirically analyze the effects of information support quality and service quality on service satisfaction of department store. To investigate the purpose of this study, literature review and survey were conducted. for statistical analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA), and regression in order by the contingency grouping method were used. In conclusion of this study are as follows First, The regression analysis had effects on information support quality and service satisfaction. Second, The Analysis of variance(ANOVA) and regression had effects on information support quality and service satisfaction as service quality factors. Result, The information support accuracy and service quality had additional effect about customer relation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of marathon service quality on service value and participant satisfaction. For data analysis, a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed to participants in the marathon, and a total of 329 (94%) data were used as valid samples, excluding 21 unscrupulous responses. For data processing, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using PASW 21.0. This resulted in the following results. First, marathon service quality has an effect on service value. Second, marathon service quality had an effect on satisfaction. Third, service value influenced participant satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to explorei the nature of the relationship between several factors representing shipping service quality enumerated in the service marketing literature and the adaptability to the marketing strategy of container shipping firm. An empirical study was carried out to examine not only the determinants of shipping service quality but also ists implications to the service marketing strategy. The data investigating the deteminants of shipping service quality were collected from Korean Multimodal Company , Shipping Freight Forwarders.   • The objectives of this study were to: a) examine foreign customers’ satisfaction and expectations for the food and service attributes of Korean restaurants located in the U.S., b) measure the gap between the satisfaction and expectations for food and service attributes, c) analyze through IPA analysis the crucial attributes needing improvement in order to minimize the discrepancy between customers’ expectations and performance, and d) analyze the effects of factors related to the food and service attributes on overall customer satisfaction in regard to Korean restaurant selection. A total of 255 American customers who had visited four Korean restaurants located within metropolitan and rural areas of the U.S. were surveyed for this study. Statistical analyses, including t-tests, factor analysis, and multiple regression, were performed using the SPSS statistical package (12.0). The American customers’ overall satisfaction of the food and services offered by the Korean restaurants was relatively high, with the exception of tangible service attributes such as comfortable chairs, restroom cleanliness, and restaurant interior. The urban foreign customers, however, were dissatisfied with the use of healthful ingredients in Korean food, because their expectation level toward this aspect exceeded their satisfaction level. In terms of Korean restaurant selection, tangible services related to the restaurant facilities were identified as the critical factor having an effect on American customer satisfaction.

A Study on the Efficiency Analysis of IT Service Companies Using Meta Frontier and the Determinants of Efficiency Using Tobit Model (Meta Frontier를 이용한 국내 IT서비스기업의 효율성 분석 및 Tobit 모형을 이용한 효율성 결정요인 분석에 대한 연구)

  • This study analyzes 45 Korea IT service companies from 2012 to 2016 using DEA analysis. Large enterprises, medium enterprises and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). CCR model and BCC model were used for efficiency analysis. Among the various analytical objects, the decision objects which yield the maximum output with minimum input are compared with other analysis objects. The relative inefficiency was measured through this, and Technical Efficiency (TE), Pure Technology Efficiency (PTE), Scale Efficiency (SE), scale profit, reference frequency were analyzed. Also, we analyzed the Technology Gap Ratio (TGR), which is the distance between production function and Meta-Frontier for each firm, using Meta-Frontier analysis. Finally, the Tobit model is used to analyze the sources of efficiency and inefficiency. The inputs are assets, capital, and employees, and the output factor is sales. The analysis shows that large firms are achieving technological achievements more efficiently than small and medium enterprises. As a result, medium-sized enterprises and SMEs can improve efficiency overall through efficient operation of workforce and appropriate combination of inputs such as assets and capital. Also, as a result of the influence factor analysis, it was found that the ratio of the managed asset ratio and the management cost ratio were significant factors influencing the efficiency of the IT service companies. This study suggests the efficiency analysis using DEA for many Korea IT service companies. Inefficient parts of each company are classified according to size and technology. Also, we identify the most efficient companies and analyze the causes of those companies whose profits are lower than their size.
